49 Billabong Roadhouse prides itself on the cheapest fuel in 200km, beating the Shell just 50m south on the same side.
I hootchied here in 98 and was glad to find it again in 2019. Free camp site available on the northern side of the roadhouse, BYO water, propane etc. Toilets and showers in the Roadhouse itself.
Jaques and Barbara were fantastic helping us out when we blew a tyre 20kms from the Roadhouse. Barbara even dropped us back to our car with her own spare tyre. Thanks again.
Well worth the stop. Great food, great coffee. Interesting shop. Friendly staff. Nice rooms for an overnight in the middle of nowhere.

Stopped in for a snack after paying too much for fuel at the servo 100 metres further down the road! Get your fuel at the right one. No prices were displayed on take away food. The forecourt looks tired and dusty and the free camp area also looked tired and dusty. After 200 km of absolutely nothing coming north is good these places are there.
Love it! Same management for more than 10 years. You just have to go into the fuel stop shop n restaurant. They have soooo many things! I have to buy something everytime I pass thru. Even got my pic on the wall wuth colleagues 12 years ago.
What a great experience every time I stop here. Great fuel price every time, awesome food and great tunes on the forecourt as you fuel your car up. Finally a garage has done it well. Oh Yere, make sure you go to the northern garage, not the southern one.
Fast friendly service. They served warm meals. We stopped for toilet break, fuel and quick meals.
Great overnight stop on way to Coral Bay. Powered Drive through van sites so no need to unhitch. Get up early and keep going with no fuss. The food in the restaurant not bad either.
