BIG4 Middleton Beach Holiday Park

Stayed here in 2016 after flying over to see my daughters at 3 Anchors by the beach.
Excellent accommodation, right beside the beach and not far from everything local.

We were there with our van for one night. The park is very clean and beautiful. The staff is very friendly. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great place and will return.facilities are great except the games room which is a TOTAL disaster and needs some love.i'd like to see the games room fixed - 50% of the arcade machines were broken charging our kids $2 a game they couldn't even play (should be $1 if that or free to big4 members - place was a tomb over the 3 days we were there), air hockey is on a slant favouring one side by at least 3 degrees, pool table balls are chipped and cues bubbled (worst I've ever held in my life). When you charge to use something it should be of a decent standard.

Charging $5 to borrow a 10yr old DVD did make me laugh. $8 for 2. Advice bring a USB-C to HDMI so you can stream your night away for free with free wifi

Facilities were amazing for our young family. Clean amenities, beach access and the staff were so helpful. Great places within walking distance for meals and coffee along the foreshore too?

A fantastic holiday resort. Everyone is super friendly and nothing is too much for them. We stayed in a cabin which was perfect but would camp here any day. Such quick access to the beach and fantastic facilities.

Everything for the kids has been thought of - heated swimming pool, spa, games room and two big playgrounds.

Really clean facilities and friendly staff. Lots of attractions and things to do close by.

Albany is an incredible town and this is the best place to base yourself from!

Loved staying here, very clean and friendly. Loved the spa and proximity to Middleton Beach. Camp kitchen was great, great atmosphere.

WAY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!
We were a little apprehensive initially booking into a holiday park however we were very impressed with the level of accommodation and standard of facilities that were offered at Big 4 Middleton Beach, Albany.
The grounds are beautifully maintained and it was very quite during our 4 night stay although we did not stay during school holidays.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa that was very well set out with all the utensils and cooking items that you would expect in a 5 star accommodation (with the exception of a Nespresso pod coffee machine). We loved our villa and would highly recommend this accommodation which has a spa, very comfortable king bed and good quality furniture and fittings.
Good speed and free Wi-Fi allowed us to plan our days and meals from the comfort of our villa.
The villa was thoroughly clean and thoughtfully prepared by 'Taylah' prior to our arrival. Taylah, you are a Rockstar and I hope you are as proud of yourself as your employee is no doubt. The level of your clean made our stay so much better! (Would the reader of this review please convey our appreciation and thanks to Taylah?).
We were also impressed by the layout of the park that included direct access to Middleton Beach.
We did not take advantage of the heated pool or hydro spa or games room but we have that to look forward to at our next visit.
Well done team. In what has been a very sad and difficult time for my wife and I you each played a part in making our stay exceptional. For 4 days and nights we were able to take our minds off things and enjoy ourselves and each others company all within the confines of your beautiful property. Thank you!
Highly recommend the restaurant Hybla just up the road but not so much Three Anchors.

Every other aspects of this park is good - I got nothing to complain about, the only reason I gave 3 starts is due to my deposit being deducted $50 even though I cancelled my booking more than 7 months before my arrival date.

BEWARE when you are booking on the phone without seeing the confirmation booking as the operators told you you can make a booking on the phone, pay deposit via credit card and if you cancel with plenty of notice period, you will not be charged with anything. That is INCORRECT, there is a $50 admin fee (non-refundable) for peak period. And you will only see this fine print when you receive a confirmation letter afterwards.

This is the first time we have ever cancelled our booking in any place and it's very disappointed with the outcome after trying to discussed the matter directly with the resort manager

This was our 2nd time staying with Big4, the last one was at Apollo Bay (power site ensuite), both were great, checking in were easy and fast. We gotten a 3bedrooms Beach house for 2 nights and all were very satisfied.
Love the concept of upper level is the kitchen and dinning/living area and ground floor is the rooms. Kitchen were fully equipped. A down side is there's only 1 room with portable heater, WiFi signal were basically non-existent at the ground level. Will book again if we're coming to Albany.

A bit more expensive but nice friendly staff. Working hours till 9pm and they also have a hot water SAP.

Great facilities although all our food was stolen as there is no form of security, not to mention all our containers. It's not really what you want when travelling and living out of your vehicle.

Beautiful park with plenty of amenities to enjoy. Short walk to the foreshore and Ellen Cove boardwalk. There’s a large playground on the foreshore too for those with little ones.
