Belmont Tavern

Hi we enjoy coming to dine at your Tavern on a regular basis. However on Boxing Day our meals looked Ho Hum. We ordered the Barramundi with Prawns and a Greek salad. The salad was literally thrown together on the plate. Obviously the Chef had had a late night and couldn't be bothered with the presentation I hope you can get it right next time we vist

My family and I have just come home from Xmas lunch at Belmont Tavern. To say it was a disappointing would be an understatement. Although most of the food was of a medium standard some of it was well below what was expected and we were unable to enjoy any of it because where we were seated the air conditioning was not working! We would not consider having Xmas lunch here again.

Amazing Christmas day! Huge buffet full of different options with a beautiful dessert table. What a spread! It was a bit hot but it was a very hot day. The service was impeccable and the waiters and waitresses were very pleasant. We even got a little maccaroon each as welcome gifts! Definitely will be back next year.

Lovely beer garden and excellent service - favourite dishes are beef pie and the parmi (bargain for $15!) - will be back!

Just passing by and had to eat, got the steak sandwich, D got the fish an' chips, S got the parmy! My steak was perfect, tender, and pink in the middle. D says side salad was well dressed, S says Parmi was real chicken and it looked BIG! Minor point that my steak sandwich could have used a balsamic/red wine vinegar/chutney or something acidic to add flavour but really its about the steak and the steak was A1!

Excellent service from Jo and Amanda. Nice outdoor ambience. Advertised special of $55 for 2 adults and 2 kids meals is a joke (meaning they won't honour it. T & C's nondescript). Mash potato is dehydrated glue. Peas are dehydrated and hard. Steaks cooked passably. Disappointing menu. Macdonalds would have been a better choice.

(These notes were added to my review *after* the response from owner) Food was great (GF Mushroom Pasta / Beef Burger), service was really nice, considering the place was packed. Chap who served me was happy to give information ingredients i.e. The fact the chips are battered. Music may have been a bit loud for some though. Would come here again

I found the customer service lacking. There was one friendly waitress but the rest informed me that they were too busy to take my orders.

Great service but i wouldnt recommend the garlic sauce or garlic prawn add on for your steaks it tastes like a cheese sauce not even a hint of garlic, the chips were commendable tho and my steak was nearly well done when i asked for medium rare

The food is below average, we use to eat here frequently with family and friends. Since the new kitchen staff the food is not worth the money you pay, the staff are to busy to provide customer service and even a smile. Would rather gauge out my eyes then to ever eat here again, what a waste of money!

Best part of our meal was the after dinner mint and our drink. Always seem to be disappointed by the food but being local end up back again. After tonight's meal never again now. Waste of money as we couldn't even eat it.

Very nice atmosphere. Service is not the same as being in a restaurant but this is not your average pub. It's better then alot out there including a kids playroom area with a slide. The everyday specials is what I really like about this place & they are generous servings & very good value for your money. You can always have a coffee & cake special if you are still hungry after.

Service was great, atmosphere was great, food was great, even reasonably priced. Would I go back. You bet!

Our second visit. The $12.00 lunch specials are just great value. Menu changes daily, great atmosphere. If you just want a coffee and cake or a full a la carte, $12.00 lunch time special it's a great place to visit.

Reasonable pub meals both in price and flavour. Simple decor. Very mainstream beer selection. A huge indoor playground for the kids is a plus.

Well what more can I say.the food was fantastic, the food was cooked to perfection and the service, well you just can’t fault that either, Rebecca and Lincoln you guys rock, I can’t recommend the Belmont Tavern enough.

Wednesday $15 party night was such a good feed. Could have done with some more chips on the plate but all in all very good.
Venue has been a bit hit and miss in recent years with changes in management. Now new staff are good and revamp of the restaurant section is more inviting.

My daughter didnt like the sweaty high vis man bar/sports bar, she said she couldnt breathe because of it, so we ended up in the outdoor area out front in afternoon sun for drinks and food before her flight.

Been here once before. Was nice Back today and the group next to us have decided to bring their own speaker, play it full vol with the crappiest music ever to exist. Completely killing the atmosphere and the staff are too busy disappearing from the counters when customers approach to do something. Won't be back again.

Friendly atmosphere, not too busy, nice and big floor provides plenty of space between tables. Good for kids and the food is great. Staff are kind and helpful.
