Normally good, today’s experience was really poor.
Of the 10+ share plates, 6 were unavailable.
Food took 45min + to come out, was told it went to another table.
Once received, pork belly bites were good as per usual, but beef skewers were cold and raw in middle, and full of gristle. Had to ask for refund, as inedible.
Sad as it’s usually a nice place for a quite lunch…

Lovely service, great food. Arancini and pulled pork chips were delicious (not as in love with the cheeseburger sausage rolls). Would happily visit again:)

Alex and Michelle were quite simply the best servers I have ever had! They are both so kind and so attentive, made our visit here so enjoyable. Will definitely be back, thanks Alex and Michelle you’re rockstars, please give them both a raise!

Excellent selection of beer, service generally always friendly and efficient.
Friend had a tough steak but this is the first time the food has not been awesome.

Had a family lunch for my husband's birthday. Everything ran smoothly, no problems at all. Was a lovely lunch. My only comment would be that most items on the menu were spicy. Not all of our party like spicy food.

The food was delicious, even on a packed Friday night. The wait time for food was very reasonable too. I will back soon, Yummo!

Currently sitting in the restaurant at 8: 55pm on September 15th 2023.13 people on our table, most of whom ordered through the app. One couple ordered at the counter due to a severe allergy that had to be explained.
This order had not come after 1hr.
After being asked where their food was, they were told the order was ‘lost’ and offered a refund…. BUT NO FOOD!

Ordered the steak with duck fat roast potato and broccolini.

The steak was overcooked and the potatoes looked like they were boiled. (Partially.as they were still hard).

Love this place, great vibe and the food and drinks always come out at a timely pace. The food is okay at best, parmigiana isn't over big and the caesar salad I had was far too salty with way too much parmesan cheese thrown on. But despite it I'd still come back i do enjoy this place thoroughly

Sorry Balmoral staff. Terrible menu, did not want anything from it.honestly needs to be reviewed asap! Left without even ordering

Went to watch the footy on the big screen in the beer garden and requested that the sound be changed from music to the commentary. This was met with a resounding no although there were a group of around 20 supporters requesting. The reason given was "because we don't " The big screen was hard to view so we left. Shame as the pub itself looks pretty good.

Attended a 50th birthday, great service thru out the night, glassies were on the ball clearing many emptied beautiful platters presented well & tasty

Went to watch AFL - no sound - staff were rude - all the tables out the back to watch the game - still no sound

Called up 10 mins before we came in and asked how busy it was lady said not busy at all, you’ll definitely get a table so we rocked up and was so busy couldn’t sit anywhere.

Been a regular to balmoral over 10 years the front staff amazing always big credit to them. But the kitchen is horrible myself as a chef i feel embarrassed there no word to describe that. New menu horrible! Am sure your tapas menu big seller is chips because the rest is just nonsense.crispy chicken skin always out of order new menu already out of items very poor menu if am not wrong one of the worst in wa pub.order a waited 25 min squid come in soggy in a sponge of oil, chip cold and soggy thank to the gentleman who came and fix the problem every time same story need to complain to get quality this too much. Ask for chilli with our chips got chop chilli with the chips hello common sense! You give chilli sauce not chop chilli. Honest words love the pub but the chef need to go you need a chef not an apprentice

Our local pup always great service and staff super friendly. Of late though the menu has been a bit disappointing with some odd things on offer.
Tried the banana blossom tempura i thought it was just awful and tasteless. My friend had the whitebait starter she didnt rate it at all. I think condencing the menu is a good idea but whatever is on there should have a bit more flavour and punch.

Very pleasant establishment with a good vibe about the place, nice for a quick drink or dine in and enjoy the atmosphere.

Favourite local, also best part; dog friendly! And staff are absolutely awesome with professionalism and customer service.

Not sure what's happened to this place recently. New menu is so small and lost all the classics. Craft beer selection has really declined too (They had Stella on the craft beer taps the other night) Pint of mid strength Feral Runt was $13.40.sheesh. Toilets are in major need of a renovation and the upstairs area looks like it's from the 80s. Still a great chilled atmosphere and use to be my favourite pub in Perth, hopefully it returns to it in the future.

Came here for dinner. Was a bit disappointed by the limited menu- while there was typical pub staples, there was nothing really exciting or encouraging to try out.

Had a few steaks, veal schnitzel, and lamb shanks. The steaks were a bit bland, dry, and tough. Didn't come with sauce. The lamb shanks were alright. The veal schnitzel was very mediocre. Tough and dry, bland. Dark crumb made me feel like the frying oil hadn't been changed recently. The spaghetti was dry and also kind of crunchy, like it had been sitting out for a while. Basil pesto was only oil and had no flavour.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place in good faith.
