Great hidden gem. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food. I especially recommend the the beef burger and fries which are better than any franchise burger outlet in Perth.

Went for a meal with 2 friends on Friday, booked table for 7pm.
Nice atmosphere, quite busy.
Had seen the new chicken parmi special advertised on Facebook, so I persuaded my friends to come here instead of the woodvale tavern.
Friendly staff, attentive, we ordered cheesy garlic bread (was lovely) and mini calamari (soggy and flavourless) as starters.
All 3 of us ordered the chicken parmi special ($20 which includes a drink also)
Picture on Facebook of meal looked amazing! Chicken chips and homemade coleslaw, our meals arrive, no coleslaw, we ask wheres the coleslaw, we are informed one week is green salad one week is slaw! I saw advert that day and it had slaw.
Huge chicken portion, small piece ham with small cheese melted, ham had curled up and was a tad dry, it was on getting to centre of chicken did I find the napolitana sauce.
I love this place, but I was disappointed with my meal.

How lucky are we to have this lovely business in our Community? It has added so much warmth and fun to Woodvale. It is such a great meeting place. Wonderful, welcoming family business with the most delightful staff and delicious food. Thanks Val, Derek, family & staff - you are incredible!

Coffee is superb. Those lovely Irish giggles and friendliness is a winner. The food is great. I like the openness of the cafe.

Massive portions of good food (although maybe a couple of smaller, cheaper options wouldn't hurt). Avoka's a decent cafe in a suburban area that really appreciates it, with friendly staff.

Absolutely brilliant breakfast. Great sized portion. Reasonably priced for fresh, delicious food. Extremely attentive service, nothing too much trouble - and with genuine smiles too. Well done all round.
