I will never book Avis again. I paid online got confirmation then when I get to the counter I’m told I need a credit card. No where in the confirmation emails or terms in the emails or website does it indicated that I need to bring a credit card. Further to this when producing one they doubled billed me. The whole transaction time for a booking via the internet was over 20minutes at the counter what a joke.
Absolutely incompetant.booked for pick up 10.30am still waiting at 12.this company need to sort their operating process.go get a car from somewhere else.
I will go there again, friendly staff, and they upgrade our car for free! Like them and will go there again
Sehr guter und netter Service. Vorab im Internet gebucht. Fahrzeuge sind sauber und gepflegt. Station befindet sich super Central in Perth City.
Wonderful staff, both ladies always had a smile on their faces and were calm and friendly even though the shop was busy. We were treated very well and were offered tourist advise which was much appreciated.
We rented a car, it was new and cleaned but we had to give back it because we take a heavy ill.unfortunately they didn't want to give us the money back, and we lost 5 days of rental
Admin/operations are terrible. Rang accounts to ask for information pertaining to money which I was charged after returning a vehicle. After not being able to find the transaction (having given them all details), was told they would call me back so they could answer other calls. Never received a call back. FYI, If you call after hours, rather than getting a message that you have called out of hours, you get put on hold. Until when Monday? Or the rest of you life? A company of this size should be able to better.
Worse car hire in Perth avoid at all cost's. These idiots reported the car stolen after we returned the car to the Perth Airport we were then abused by some customer service idiot on the phone like we were criminals, DO NOT USE!
Needed a car for work (a wedding) and they sprung a $400 upfront charge on me without notice. I declined the hire as a result and will recommend my company not use Avis in future.
The company double deducted my credit card. And this happened when I'm back in my home country. Ding donged with them for a long time before they refunded me, for which I also lost on forex. Dont use them or they will deduct your credit card on the sly.
Experienced the worst customer service in my whole life here!
My husband and I made an advance booking online and arrived slightly earlier on the day itself. The lady at the counter looked unhappy when we greeted her. After giving her our booking details, she just kept saying "this is not helping" with an annoyed look and tone. She then managed to find our booking paperwork, told us to "go for coffee" as our vehicle had not arrived yet, and disappeared inside. Thought she might just be having a bad day, but when some locals walked in after that, she actually smiled and greeted them! This seriously tainted the positive image we had of Australia and its people thus far. We were so upset we cancelled the booking online on the spot and went to another car rental company. Will NEVER rent a car from them again!
Charged me an extra day when I only rented van for one day. I'm having to chase this up myself. Very frustrating.

I am really disappointed with the service we received by the manager of this branch. We rang first thing in the morning stating that we wanted an manual vehicle with a sat nav. We weee told to turn up at one where we where then told that there would be no sat nav available and that if we wanted one then we would have to drive 140 Kms to another branch. I found the manager to be rude, unhelpful and at one point she said that basically we should find somewhere else if we weren’t happy. I can’t drive an automatic so guess what they gave us? Not only did we pay for two drivers but my friend had to do all the driving. Appalling service with a definite “can not do” attitude.
Their relocation to 960 hay street without any update on the website or any notification to the customer is quite irresponsible.
