Authentic Bites Dumpling House

Ordered crab & pork steamed dumplings, kimchi and pork fried dumplings & a bowl of wonton noodle soup. Food was tasty though the steamed dumplings had lost some of the liquid soup inside.

If you want dumplings, this is the place to go. Not much else to say about this place, as you can probably tell from the line every night at this venue but glad they opened up a new one in Karrinyup. Recommend ordering takeaway as the lines/wait tends to be about 30 minutes.

Worst dumplings in Perth! Not a chance the other reviews are legit this was so disgusting we left almost all of it and paid $65 for 2 people. Vege dumplings were just bok choy and were dry, pork were like bad sausage. The spring rolls were brought out a couple of minutes before we gave up and left but were burning hot and tasted like frozen mush rolls. Avoid avoid avoid

The dumplings came out hot and fresh. They were delicious. The Pan Fried Pork Dumplings are a whole family favourite.
This place gets busy, so go early or expect a short wait.

I bought the 'Braised beef with rice' for lunch today (18/11/2021), I ate majority of the takeaway meal before I noticed this large moth in the dish.
The restaurant gave me a cash refund when I returned later that day to complain. However, all patrons should be aware, when I asked the cashier who gave me my refund if this had happened before, her response was "smaller moths have shown up, as they can be in the vegetables". So, this has clearly happened to other customers before me.

This is a wonderful place. So much so that you probably have to que to get in because that's how good it is. Always a pleasure eating here.

Good service but the xiao long bao is overrated, it tastes Iike the frozen one you can get from costco.

Certainly one of the best dumpling place in Perth, very popular, if you go there during the peak lunch/dinner time, there may be a long queue, may need to queue for a while, Best to have the Xiao Long Bao there, not take away, have them whie they are just steamed/cooked and juicy.

Twice didn't go here because of the queue to get in, and we were really looking forward to it. Finally got in last night - and we were bitterly disappointed.
Service was lacklustre at best, and the food was very plain. One dish was OK, the rest were bland and boring. Oh, and my partner nearly broke her tooth on 2 pieces of bone found in the dumplings!
Much better dumplings to be found elsewhere in Perth.

No doubt, the dumplings and dim sum were sensational - fresh, delicious and packed full of filling. I’d stick to ordering just them next time.
I had a bowl of mince on dry noodle and it really did not get my juices flowing - I’d pass on this in the future

I've sadly brought this previously 5 star review for what was one of my favourite restaurants in Northbridge down to 3 stars after twice now having received dumplings that had absolutely no joy in them. The meat that used to be juicy is now dry and the big chunks of prawns have totally vanished. Please bring back the quality authentic bites we know and love! ️

The dumplings are delicious, in particular the bao and pan fried ones. Just go early if you can as the wait could be quite long.

Hearing from friends and reading reviews about how amazing food is here despite the fact that my first experience with take away dumplings was not the best or memorable whatsoever, I decided to give it a second
shot specially because I couldnt ignore that for the first time this restaurant did not have people queueing to get in. The venue and service are simple so I though that food would not take long. I was wrong. Simple doesn’t equal fast. Having ordered only two items from the menu before the place got busy, I saw how tables next to me got their food first even though they arrived and ordered after I did. So I started timing the wait, which for the first dumplings (the kimchi ones) they took 15 minutes to arrive at the table. When my stopwatch reached the 30 minutes mark I got up from the table and decided to pay and leave because the order had taken too long. They hadn’t realised that a table’s order wasn’t complete.

As for the quality of dumplings, I’ve tried better in other restaurants such as Little China Girl and Emily Taylor where BTW, you dont need to queue to get in.

My advice would be stick to the dumplings. My friend did that and thoroughly enjoyed it, I had soup and a chicken steak. The chicken was really nice but the soup had no flavour at all, like I was having hot water with noodles in it.

Great dumplings and service. Popular place. Two visits: Sunday lunch and Monday night. Both times place was busy and tables being served promptly. Each time selected dumplings with peanut and chilli sauce. Never had before and we'll worth trying. Up there with the best in Sydney and Melbourne.

Amazing spot! Although, it will be a wait to get a table. The quality of the food is consistent, delicious and affordable!

Highly recommend trying.

You may have to queue, but worth the wait, with out a doubt. $70 for 4ppl, 45 dumplings with drinks, you cant go wrong. Fresh, full of flavour, fast service, A+ would go again, and again.

Don't be fooled by staff and freinds rating this venue 4&5 stars, cheap it is and that's where the value ends. Bland, tasteless dumplings with the ultimate yuck in the hot n sour soup.

Not sure what the hype is about this place? Tried it because of good reviews. The service was fast and it's a clean place but we struggled to finish the food, nothing amazing.not worth lining up for
