I have had a great experience with DES At Work Mirrabooka and I highly recommend it.
I was back from a bad experience with another des provider, discouraged and disappointed by the previous experience.
But my job coach Katie, with her positive and friendly approach, she supported me and motivated me to achieve my goal.
She is a very professional person as well as the rest of the team.

First of all the Atwork crew in Mirrabooka were so lovely just the atmosphere was infectious especially my case manager Natalie. Now I don’t like even calling her that because I really feel like she is a friend. She has gone above & beyond for me showing me all aspects of what would be a good fit for me and my future career. All the while not trying to change or persuade me in any other direction I wasn’t comfortable with. I am so glad I got linked to Atwork such a great experience. Keep up great work

Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Always get out exactly what I need and are very helpful in finding employment. Recommend for any labourers looking for labour work.

Try any other job providers first. If you ring in because you can't make an appointment because of Illness, you'll get a strike. Rang twice on behalf of my son, hours before his appointment, left messages, got no reply from anyone. This is the second time this has happened now. Said they would contact me within 24 hours, as per their reply. Hasn't happened.

I have recently had the pleasure of Katie and Louise helping me find suitable work within the disability sector. They have both gone above and beyond to help me in many of my struggles. Particularly Katie as my job coach. I felt heard, valued and important. It has been such a unique and wonderful experience especially in comparison to other services I’ve used before. Thank you AT WORK AUSTRALIA! And thank you Katie and Lou.

I've been with AtWork DES Mirrabooka for about 6 years. My Job Coach Nigisty has helped me in every way to get me back into the work force in that time.

I have had two knee replacements and I am currently recovering, Nigisty has been supporting me in this time. She has helped me get a Cert 3 in Business through Alffie and worked alongside me to help me understand the type of employment options I can look at.

I would highly recommend Nigisty as a job coach as she is understanding and is willing to help anyone with the situations they are in. When I am recovered I will be looking forward to working with her again.

Shoutouts to Katie at DES Mirrabooka - she's super nice and understanding of my issues and barriers but she's doing her best to help me and go at a pace I can handle and prepare me for work!

The support and assistance I received from the team at AtWork Mirrabooka DES was Great. Thank you Louise, Maddy, Henry, Zahra Gilmour, Ella Dilber and Paul - Your support made a big difference to me in this struggle for me to get back to work after Back Surgery put me out of so many pathways. I recently had a personal medical situation in which my employer deemed me unfit for the type of work I was hired to do. I was recommended to At Work Australia disability employment services in Mirrabooka for dire assistance. I was assigned to a wonderful lady by the name of jenny and she was very kind friendly dedicated and helpful in finding me employment. I went from being on Centrelink to being enrolled in a traffic management course which will guarantee employment in less than 3 months. Now tell me what other employment service can do that. None. This company was built to assist people with disabilities and I commend its creator for his dedication and impeccably high level of service it provides to their clientele. Jenny and the team at the Mirrabooka branch are highly recommended if you have a disability and are in need of employment. I am grateful for the wonderful opportunity I have been given.

Maddison at the Atwork DES side is absolutely lovely, understanding of medical problems and always compassionate. Super glad I have her to help.

My job coach has been Henry in the DES department. He has helped me with my resume and assisted me with job searching, I am so grateful for his effort and dedication, thankyou!

The worst place i have ever been to. Never helped me with anything at all could not find me 1 job to put on my form and said its not there responsibility. They got a 25 year old Maddison to make me a resume which with was full of errors including basic grammar and spelling mistakes I was put into a group with jo and she would not give me any corresponding notes for the lesson which I could not follow at all. But most of all never addressed any of my barriers writing clearly on my job capacity assessment. They are narrow minded with no understanding or not willing to help by referring you back to Centrelink for a new jsa or writing the required letter stating they can’t help. NIGISTY IS THE MEANEST HEARTLESS HUMAN I HAVE EVER MET WITH NO SOCIAL SKILLS AT ALL. SACK THE LOT OF YOUR EYE CANDY. BOSS EH!

I have been a client of AtWork Mirrabooka in the DES department for a while now and everyone there has been very helpful. My job coach Henry has assisted me with building my resume, assisting me with job searching and moving me towards employment. I really appreciate the help!

Maddison, my job search coach is really helpful and supportive, whenever I get stuck with certain things whilst applying for jobs she is always there to help.
The only thing that peeves me off is that I get an appointment reminder sent to my phone, BUT I haven't even been told I have an appointment in the first place!
Apart from that I have no complaints.

My Consultant was Stefan. With Atwork DES.
Stefan and Atwork have done an amazing job with getting me employment, they're always checking on me, and helping me get employment. I've finally got employment and no way could I have done this myself.
The staff at Atwork Mirrabooka DES, is just so helpful, they will assist you in any way possible!

I registered at Mirrabooka there exactly a month ago today and yesterday commenced a position Serviceman/Truck Driver for hire company exactly what I wanted.
These guys at Atwork leave the other Employment Groups for dead I had 1 employment consultant but they were all working for me to get where I am now
If you really want a job don't go anywhere else and I know this after leaving 2 other employment groups because they didn't seem to care like these guys do.

Sandra is really helpful and understanding of my circumstances and has gone above and beyond to help me with getting closer to the right job.

Centrelink sent me for an appointment at the Mirrabooka office for DES. Appointment made and I was given a copy of the confirmation.

When I got there I apparently disturbed a social party for a staff member.after a 20 min wait a staff member came out. I informed her I had an appointment 20 mins ago. She could not locate it. Another staff member joined her at reception and it was very rude of me to talk whilst she interrupted. She was having a personal emergency about a mark on her face.
I was told to have a seat. 30 mins later a male employee came out to see me and informed me he was too busy to see me.

I thanked him for wasting over an hour of my time. He offered another appointment. I iinformed him of the location his appointment should be held.

I reported the matter to Centrelink immediately.

I am very sorry to have disturbed the social gathering and showing no compassion when a staff member had a concern about her appearance.

It must be a terrible thing to have a job under such terrible working conditions

This seems to be a systemic failure in all DES providers by all the reviews.

There should be a Royal Commission into the DSP to Services Australia
