Has an awesome hot food section, with a huge choice of warm meals, ready to go.
Like pasta bakes, lasagna, curries, chips, etc.

I thought supermarkets like these ones here were built to serve the community they were in. Today you make a few extra dollars inflating the price of toilet paper which people are buying because of a perceived health crisis. Just think about that for a second.

When this is all over, I hope people see this review and choose to shop elsewhere. Many people are already speaking negatively about ASHFIELD IGA on Facebook groups.

I did frequent this place heaps until recently when i purchased a pack of Messy Monkeys Burger Flavor that was 4 months out of date. I have tried contacting them multiple ways but to no avail, So steer clear of this store if possible - Out of date food and they don't seem to care about their customers. Your better off going 2 mins down the road to the Bassendean shopping Centre. This isn't the first time something like this has happened from this IGA

Be careful of the 'specials'. If you look look closely at the price lables, sometimes you are only saving $0.12 or less. Very tricky. And the staff are rude, but that is nothing on the owner/manager who walks aroundvthe store. Very unfriendly.

The quality and price of the meals was excellent. It is great to enjoy tasty home cooking from a supermarket!

I came into your store a couple of weeks ago - probably the last time I ever will.
I purchased some cracker biscuits but when I opened the packet they were all smashed, and some frozen vegetables that are clearly been defrosted & refrozen - I was silly enough to buy three packs! All of the vegetables were damaged & inedible when I opened them and ended up throwing them in the bin.
I contacted you via private message with photos and after another message, ten days later I hadn’t received a response - so the only assumption that I can make is it you don’t care!
That’s me done!

I was very impressed with the variety and prices and really enjoyed the large selection of cooked food.

Improved service with new owners. Good selection of take away meals on offer as well. Good to see consistent improvements in store.

A convenient location for essentials items. The shop has been newly renovated for a light, bright and clean appearance.

Lovely staff, cheap prices, only drawbacks are the plethora of rude, destitute stalkers harassing me for money when I get out of my car for 'busfare home' (yeah because i totally believe that's what you're going to spend it on -_-) but that's not something iga staff can realistically control. Thanks for the lovely service guys and girls!

Store does not look clean
How can we surport you when your prices are wrong
I have found that you are up to $2 difference in your prices and that is against other iga stores
And $5 difference in smokes
You have lost me as a customer
It is further for me to go but will go to other iga stores

Have shopped here for years but no more. The staff are RUDE. No hello or thank you, they seem to ignore you whilst they chat to each other.
Customers shouldn't have to put up with this terrible "service"
Also, isn't it illegal to try and sell expired stock?

My 15 year old daughter has had two shifts and accused in a round about way of stealing money.

My daughter was never given the opportunity to count her her till at the beginning of her shift but had to rely on the employee before her to count her till for her.

I'm sorry, but my spidey senses are tingling at this point and I really would like "Tom" to contact me and discuss this further.

Staff are friendly and they have a good selection for such a small store. I bought some frozen pastry from them a week or so ago and when I got it home, realised it had thawed, gone mouldy and been refrozen, so I'm a bit suss on their food safety. I'll be letting them know when I return next.

Unlike any other IGA store, this store stalks its customers and treats them as potential thieves. If you stand for a couple of minutes reading info on a product, the staff and store manager will be walking past you and/or watch you from a distance, who needs this on every visit? It's how the locals like it.

It's OK, but prices of important house goods like oil, butter and vegetables are expensive than Coles and Woolworths. Haven't been there for a while, prefer Coles now.
