Ashfield IGA

Renovated since I lived nearby. It's a decent little corner-shop IGA, I wouldn't go there for my weekly shop but great for quick milk-runs.

Sells hot meals now, they're good value if you're looking for a cooked lunch.

Who sells brown mince at top price, vegs, celery was bending but thought it’s only for soup.surprise took off the glad wrap in the middle totally rotten. All specials go threw full price, unless u have the few lovely lady’s on checkout. Do the extra 2 minutes to bassadean coles

I remember when it opened about 40 years ago, always nice to visit old memories, surprised to see shelves well stocked at this time of shortages and hot food available

Doesn’t always have enough choice of products and phone calls go to voicemail making it difficult to contact. Otherwise it is a very handy shop if you want a couple of things.

The worst IGA I have ever been to. It's just got worse, new owners don't seem to be able to order food so not much to buy there. Freezers are often broken. Food has been thawed and re frozen. Out of date food often on the shelves. Vegetables are disgracefully bad. It's sad because it's an important part of the community. Hopefully new owners will make some changes.

Honestly this is in the area for me, i catch the train to school and home boom IGA ever since the new manager came in the other day its been perfect! Beautiful and clean floors so clean it’s unbelievable how nice it is + customer service is good as always:) always have amazing talks with the people at the register since they have known me for years

Has what you want after the big stores close. You'll pay slightly more, but that's what you get for the convenience and extended hours. This shop does have good deals and hot food options

You wouldn't do your weekly shop here due to the relatively high prices but it's very handy for the odd item you forgot to get from Coles.

Very very rarely have items in stock that are in the catalogue. I am overcharged on items all the time which is very frustrating. I only go to this store when I am desperate and even then I do it begrudgingly.

Unfortunately the cooked food range is to much curry based.its extremely cramped shop and their hygiene needs raseing but the upside here their extremely sweet people running this store

My local IGA. Convenient and always has what I Need. Also has ready to go cooked meals and food.

Man this was freezing, not much of a selection in biscuits and all the isles seemed to tower over you. Placement of products could do with a change appeared cluttered and almost claustrophobic. Customer service was great.

Tiny little supermarket has most of the bare essentials but the hot food is generally expensive.

Very expensive since it has changed ownership, some staff are friendly but on the whole it has quite a depressing vibe about it.

The worst IGA I have ever been to I have found mouldy food on the shelves as well as outdated meat, they don't have a contact number honestly this place needs to be investigated and shut down

Closing time is inaccurate, they close early, I am not sure what time but I got here at 8pm and they were closed

Had brought some hot food from here and didn't even eat it once I got back to work as it had looked like it was a few days old, over priced products, cigarettes are service station prices. Wont be returning.

Checkout person had no idea, bought two items stir fry meat at $8 each charged me $26. That was my first and last time.

They have a good range of products, easy parking, reasonable prices, helpful friendly staff. I've been there a few times and will certainly go there again.

Friendly and helpful checkout staff, but poor management. Almost every visit, there are multiple discrepancies between the prices on the shelf and what is charged at the till. I recommend you always check your receipt before leaving the store.
