Hello, I am making a complaint towards APM Canning vale and they are beyond rude! I hope everyone who reads this will understand that this APM is horrible and that you will reconsider going to this job provider. Thank you!

Firstly, the administration team has always been particularly rude to, not only myself, but also the people who are seeking work. What they do is look towards the door to see someone walk in and then they immediately turn around to the person seated behind them and begin to engage into conversation about personal life matters (In one instance, heard the pair speaking about dresses and parties they were at and how hot the guys were there; which was nothing related to their work whatsoever) and they made each person in line wait for 15-20 minutes with their pointless ramblings which could have been done during morning and afternoon breaks.  
Secondly, there's this employee who has been extremely rude and arrogant towards me, and from our first meeting, I knew that I had to know his name so I could report him to APM. However, I couldn't get his name because he didn't think that I would be able to use it properly. Which is why I will provide a few physical characteristics he has: the only bald person who works there, tall, wears suits, Caucasian.  
This is because during every single meeting, he always boasts to me about his French skills and how much better he is than everyone and that he deserves to be promoted to managerial or higher roles. I feel as though he does this to everyone that meets him, except the manager and supervisors, because during the second time I met him I spoke against him and told him to do his job, and not to speak so highly of himself. After I did so, he called in the manager and told her that I was making stuff up about him boasting, and that, I was the only one showing off.

Lastly, the manager came over to me and started to verbally look down upon me, saying that Centrelink is a place for scumbags like me and she would gladly degrade my living accommodation to a sewer system because she had the power to suspend my allowance from the government. Then I told her that I would make a complaint towards her because of what she said and she responded by saying that there's no point because she's good friends with the owner and CEO of APM, and that the owner gives here infinite power to APM's database so she can make my complaint sound like a lie, and then lie to make it sound as though it were my fault. She told me to keep my mouth shut because she could pay the authorities to get me into trouble as well because she is also highly favored by Australia's Prime Minister. I was in disbelief so I was quiet for a few seconds, suddenly, the two started laughing and pointed at me, saying that I was a fool, a clown, disgusting and cheap woman who wasn't worthy of the broken down car I own, and told me to go back to the dumpster that I call home. I ran out the door and drove home.
Thanks to these people at APM Canning vale, I am usually in tears after my appointment with them, and have recently developed both depression and PTSD, making me seem less desirable to the eyes of many employers, and seem like a vulnerable target for bullying by the manager and guy mentioned above. I feel as though APM has wasted these positions on people who are only looking for money, and not on people who are understanding towards us job searchers.

Incompetent and immoral. I was told to lie on my CV and when I said I was uncomfortable with that, they lied to employers on my behalf about my qualifications and previous experience (big, significant lies which would have caused problems for me should I have gotten the jobs). When I insisted I did not want to lie or corroborate their lies, they made it clear that they would make problems for me with my income support if I didn't comply, implying that I was just lazy and didn't want to work. Staff have no clue about what makes someone employable, especially with tertiary qualifications, they have actually hindered my re-entry into the workforce because of the lies and useless advice.

Absolute useless and incompetent workers, and incredibly disorganized.

After a previous appointment in assisting a friend to translate. The appointment went from general courtesy into hostility within 2 minutes. These people need to be retrained in their communication technique. Why would you have no ability to supply a translator and when offered one due to your own incompetence resort to abuse?
I have used job coaches in the past, and each one resulted in a job that I ended up a permanent, I was gifted with a cake and congratulations.
But this centre, all I experienced was a bunch of people who felt entitled that they had a job to assist with job search. And had no desire to serve.
Imagine someone offering some time to personally provide what your service could not supply. Then being told that they hope you end up jobless and when sent to them, they would ensure you have a hell to live.
So seriously, if this is your first job at the centre don't feel entitled. Feel privileged you are helping others make a difference and please change for the better.
Also imagine creating self accounts to upvote yourselves.

This business is very clearly looking to maintain or increase unemployment in Australia in order to maximise profits earned from government contracts. They also overwork their workers and refuse to hire any more, again to maximise the profit motive (they complain of being understaffed, yet won't hire people who come to them looking for work).

This service must be state run, or else its' profit motive (earn money through keeping people unemployed) directly contradicts its' stated motives (helping Australians find jobs).

The canning vale branch is a mess. Not only did one of the staff ruin my resume but i was denied a transfer and now my new consultant has refused to allow me to keep my resume in the state i like it in.the same state i got my last job from.they pushed the point so much i kept refusing to allow them to molest it like the last one and after being ignored for so long i swore 2-3 times and then my consultant threatened to mark me unattended which made me irate because that was going to result in my payments being cancelled and because it was in fact not fair to mark me unattended when i was in the office i raised my voice so others knew what she was doing.that swiftly resulted in her not saying anything other than "im getting the manager" the manager then proceeded to act childish and start critiquing what ever it was of mine she could see on my screen.after having two blokes stand over me and threaten me i remained in the seat and encouraged them to call the police instead of the stand over tactics they were using as calling the police is the right thing to do as opposed to their employed tactics of random male staff running over to stand over you not knowing anything about the interaction its a shame i have nobody to call to ask for help when companies like APM abuse their power. Lisa Jennings is the name of the manager who dealt with it in the end.instead of being reasonable or even listening to me she had decided she was going to mess with me just to make my life hard.ive made complaints and asked for a provider change on 3 occasions now.the result.my payments are cancelled and i have an appointment on Wednesday but i dont know what time because that wasnt provided to me. APM has a history of employing staff who judge and treat people unfairly and never once have they helped me at all in regards to anything employment related be that resume revamps or job interviews.just further damage to my mental, emotional and financial state.absolutely appalling performance APM.

Avoid APM at all cost if you are unemployed because APM clearly has no idea on how to support you during your unemployment period.

I was unfortunate that Centrelink assigned me to APM Canning Vale. In my first appointment, my APM job consultant ("M") put me under pressure to sign a job plan. I did not understand it and M was reluctant to explain it to me. The job plan asked me to do Working for Dole activities and I was fine with it, but it mainly clashed with my time to care for my disabled parent. I asked M to reschedule it or change it to a different activity, however, M insisted that it was the only activity that could be scheduled for me. He then threatened me that if I did not sign the job plan, he would mark my job appointment as 'no-show'. I was shocked and confused, but it got worse. M then verbally abused me by asking me, "Why are you in Centrelink, huh? " He asked this question repeatedly, rudely and loudly. It totally humiliated me in front of all other staffs and their customers. At this point, I lost my faith in M because of his lack of professionalism and emphaty.

M then further pressured me to sign the job plan. I told M that I still couldn't sign the job plan because I did not fully understand it and my concern in Work for Dole schedule wasnt addressed properly. Clearly, M became infuriated and M further threatened me that if I did not sign it, he will need to suspend my payment. I believed that what M did was definitely illegal, but I finally signed the job plan half-heartedly because I had to be home to care for my fragile parent.

It was appalling that APM and M has humiliated and threatened me multiple times in my first meeting. Clearly, APM do not have your best interest in mind. Avoid APM at all cost and you should seek a much better job agency.

If there’s zero stars I wouldn’t hesitate
Manager is rude claims that she’s busy and she’ll call later but she never does and eventually says that she’s not here to talk to people and she got more important stuff to do
Consultant is super rude hang up on me more than 3 times and not answering calls or emails
She also asked me to wait on hold and then put me through to reception
Been trying to call reception for 2 days they see my number pick the call and hang up immediately, but when I called from my wife’s number they simply answered
From other reviews you can simply see that they mistreated everyone

Incompetent doesn’t even begin to describe their terrible service, plus their rude phone manner is baffling! That’s if they answer the phone at all. No communication with Centrelink, neither knows what the other is doing, neither knows what they themselves are doing! Pointless time wasting appointments is all they offer while they frustrate you within an inch of your life. How they get away with this is just unbelievable. ALL of one star reviews, or 99% of all reviews, are spot on! Government needs to WAKE UP and fix whatever they think this so called ‘service’ is.but they won’t.they don’t give a damn about it, or us.

Extremely poor poor service lack of communication between staff, multiple occasions I've had late appointments with them as they're running behind.
Very poor service in regards to work prospects and very little support in furthering work skills.
And had a few of there staff be rude mannered at times over the phone.

Actually the worst employment service group ive ever dealt with, they never answer the phone when you call them, they just throw your documents and applications to change providers in the bin, and they treat you like cattle not a person.

Another rort where a private company is being paid by the CES to find jobs for the unemployed. They willingly take money from the government / tax payer and provide the absolute minimum level of service they can possibly get away with. Their own Service Delivery Plan states "for Job Seekers APM commits to. Engaging with you at least once a fortnight" I have been forced to sign up with this organisation and after an initial interview, which was actually a group interview (?) three weeks ago, I have still not received any correspondence or contact of any sort, even though I have sent them two emails with questions about looking for work. I have also tried calling their offices several times only to get endless automated voice messages suggesting I call somewhere else. Not happy with this very poor level of service.
