Apex Car Rentals Perth Airport

I booked a rental car with Apex Car Rental at the Perth airport.
While filling out their website Booking form online I learned that I
must go out from the airport by shuttle, I think, ok no problem.
But no, with Apex Rentals it is just the first of many problems.
You must call them to come get between 7: 30 - 4: 30pm or you pay
$55 aud extra for each pickup outside their abbreviated business hours!
Then, how to reach them? No, airport phone kiosk, and being from out
of country, our phones won’t connect either. We had to immediately buy
a Sim card, registrar the new Sim card (30min wait) and call them and
then wait another 30min for the shuttle for the 20min (12k) ride back to
to their rental office. Another 30min of while Ms. Jing filled out the paper
work and then a 15 min walk around the car while Ms. Jing took 25 pics
of the car exterior and notated every blumish on the car!
Over 2hrs to pickup a car from an Airport! (not counting the time for Sim).
Returning the car, which we had to bring in the early morning hours due to
our early departure flight home, was EVEN A WORSE experience.
We fill up the gas just outside the airport, but I dropped everyone at the
departure terminal first to expedite the check-in (5am) then headed for
the Apex Rental return office, more than 13k away! So, the fuel gauge
was a hair under full and Apex charged me a $25 penalty and $2 per liter
or the difference. So, they collected a $55 fee for early drop off and $55
more for the gas and penalty. NO RECEIPT PROVIDED! Just their
Calculations! A total of a $110 aud extra.
For the little benefit of savings on the overall rental, you pay big time in
inconvenience and poor customer service.

My husband and I were wanting to hire a small car for two weeks in WA. We found Apex online and were surprised to see how cheap they were. As I am 24 most rental companies charge me a young drivers fee, yet as I have my full licence Apex rentals did not charge this fee!
On arriving at the airport a shuttle bus driven by Chris picked us up and took us a short drive to the rental place. Chris was extremely friendly and offered amazing customer service.
At Apex, Geoff talked us through all the details, he was extremely friendly and ensured we understood all the details. Car was neat, clean and ran perfectly. Dropped it off at the end and had a friendly goodbye from Geoff again.
10/10 would recommend, will definitely hire from them again!

This place is a rip off went there to pick up a car I had booked and paid for as well as the insurance and they wanted to charge me a further $350.00 for insurance, I went across the street to Avis got a better car with insurance at a lower price. Still did not get my money back from the company.next time I will stick to the better known rental car company’s just ask a lot of questions if you decide to go with them.

Superb team! The staff who picked us from the airport, Chris, was so friendly and professional. The staffs in the office, too, were professional and helpful. The was given was clean, new, and with no damage. Will definitely rent from Apex in the future.

I can't say a bad word about these guys, They had great service and half the price of the airport company's rental cars, The cars where new and tidy.

The car I hired is clean, new and great value. The staff were lovely and professional even when i was rude to them due to an initial misunderstanding. Would recommend them highly. Well done Apex Perth.

We were early customers close to the opening of Apex Perth. Having used Apex in New Zealand, we had high hopes. Paul came and collected us from a wintery cold Perth domestic airport and was incredibly warm and welcoming. We had a great experience with Paul and the brand new vehicle we rented. Drop off and shuttle to the airport were smooth as well. Congratulations Paul, we will be visiting Perth again soon and hope to see your smiling face again!

Hired a SUV for a week from Apex. Easy to reserve the car online.car was clean and had no damage. The customer service was good, they did not try to push any extras. They were quick and easy, Highly Recommend

We have used Apex twice now, in New Zealand and Perth, and have found them extremely good. The Airport pick ups are prompt, their rates are very competitive, the staff are friendly and helpful, their hire processes are quick, and the cars are clean and well maintained. We will continue to do business with Apex.

Lovely people who made us feel very special and hired us a brand new Kia Rio. They gave us various maps and info to help our plans and detailed advice about route to our overnight motel. The airport transfer bus was prompt, swift and almost new and drivers were lovely.

Excellent team at Perth, very friendly incredible value and very prompt efficient shuttle service both from and to the airport, will definitely use again next time we visit WA.

The staff are friendly and helpful, rental rate is good value, the car I got was new less than a year old. It took about 10 minutes shuttle service from the car rental office to/fro the airport terminal.
