Nicole was recommended to me by a local dog trainer and I’m so glad I followed through in seeking her help. My dog has anxiety issues along with noise and storm phobia.
At my initial consult everything was so overwhelming, so much information! But Nicole made sure I understood everything. I was sent home with lots of info in the form of handouts and a follow up email with plenty of links to look at.
We made a plan as to how we were going to tackle my dogs issues with medication, changing his environment and behaviour modification. Nicole made sure the trainer I was going to use was confident to deal with these issues and off we went.
Since then Nicole has only been an email away for any problems and updates I have. And she is mighty quick to reply!

Without Dr Nicole and my trainer I know me and my dog wouldn’t be where we are today. We still have a long way to go but we are definitely on the right track.

I brought my ridgeback to see Dr Nicole on advice from his dog trainer. With the medication Dr Nicole prescribed combined with ongoing behaviour modification Zander has developed into a much more relaxed and very happy, playful dog.

I found Dr Nicole's approach empathetic, extremely knowledgeable, supportive, flexible, pragmatic and creative. Dr Nicole interacted in a way that best suited Zander's coping levels. I couldn't believe only having met Dr Nicole once before that Zander felt so safe and relaxed in her presence at his review consult, that he chose to lie down and chill out in her consult room.

Dr. Nicole listened intently to what I was experiencing with Zander without judgement and explained everything in a way I could understand and answered every question I had. Having Dr Nicole join team Zander has accelerated his ability to learn and ensured his routine and specialist vet care has been provided in a way that didn't cause him unnecessary trauma or stress which has ensured he hasn't deteriorated or developed any additional issues.

Taking the step to get help and support is a big decision as having a dog who has issues that need medication and behaviour modification can be stressful and overwhelming.

Since seeking Dr Nicole's help combined with behaviour modification with his trainer Zander has developed beyond what I thought would be achievable, resulting in a much happier dog who is now living a very happy, relaxed and enjoyable life; which I couldn't have achieved without the on-going support and expert assistance Zander and I have received.

We saw Nicole after recommendations from our dog trainer and I am ever so glad that we did! Our boxers behaviour has improved immensely since undertaking the recommendations of Nicole - we have progressed with his training in leaps and bounds! I can't recommend Nicole enough. My cat had been displaying a high level of aggression towards me for about a year. I was desperate and at the point of considering re-homing him, but how do you re-home an aggressive cat? With her guidance and trying different medications he's like a different pet now: affectionate, happy and no longer aggressive. I am very grateful)

I was referred to Nicole at Animal Sense by a local Dog Behaviourist and seeing Nicole with my female dog was the best thing for her! Nicole's approach is kind and compassionate, with no harm or negative methods use to modify unwanted behaviours. Her assessment of my dog and continued support through our journey is enabling me to assist my dog with her various issues and the results have been amazing. Working with both Nicole and the dog behaviourist has seen a dramatic improvement in my dogs behaviour for the better and she is a much happier dog because of it.
