Took our ginger girl cat here with a bung eye.
Great vet and reception. Fixed her up nicely and good follow up too.
Highly recommended for emergencies.

Was the worst experience and service I have ever experienced. Talk about slow and not informative at all. 2 hours waiting 5 min consult handed antibiotics n charged $380. I still don't know what's wrong with my 14 year old dog except he has a large open wound on his face a lump going down his throat n puss from inside his mouth yes its an abccess / infection but from what? Will drive the distance next time and go else where.update.took my dog to local vet my dog has 3 fractured teeth 2 on side and 1 on the other, a thick skin infection, root bound abscess and needs surgery.never taking my dog or any other of my aminals to useless vets again.you should have your licence taken away.absolutely disgusted

Absolutely amazing took mash in emergency 28th October, Hannah and team were professional, compassionate, listened amazing staff thank you.
UPDATE: unfortunately Mash was unable to keep his leg due to the damage, James and team again were so great understanding, compassionate he laid out all the options and discussed our concerns. Thank you to the whole crew at AEC for the best outcome for our boy, Mash has a long road but with your.help he will heal.

Thank you so much to Hannah and Stephanie early on Saturday for helping our beautiful Bentley who was very unwell. You were both so kind and supportive and professional. As sad as it was, you both made the process not about anything veterinary, just about letting him leave this world without any fuss. You are both amazing and we can't thank you enough for making a very sad moment, feel very calm and respectful.

This place is 10/10! The staff are amazing and the care for our groodle when he was in bad shape was second to none. Very greatful and highly recommend.

It's such a relief to be able to call a vet at 2am and be met with such under standing and compassion from the staff at AEC. We thankyou greatly for helping our beloved Titan find peace and rest.

The only reason I gave this place a star was so I could leave a review otherwise I wouldn't have given them anything.
When we arrived on Friday 9th December 2022 at between 8.30pm 9.45pm we had taken my neighbours dog there as he had an extremely bad laceration to his leg, A heavy set lady in scrubs said to us did you call 'well no because we were more interested in getting the dog to the 24hr emergency vet before he bled out her reply "Well we close in 2hrs there's nothing we can do because we close in 2hrs we can give you a consultation which will cost you$210 but there's nothing we can do now it gets even worse but there isn't enough space to write everything down.
We were sent away with an extremely distressed dog & an even more irate owner I drove all parties to Wangara 24hr vet whom immediately took the dog and seen to him straight away then someone came out half an hour later to ask for information. But when we were at the other emergency 24hr vet in Midland there was NO consideration
No empathy she couldnt care less & was extremely rude. I am so appalled ill be sending a more detailed letter to the head office.
The website clearly states 24hr emergency vet & that they are animal caring "I saw none of what has been advertised & I will never take my pets there nor will I recommend them if anything I will be advising friends & family to stay clear & find another vet.

Reading bad reviews (and I do sympathise to those people) can make you very dubious about attending but I took the chance. The initial phone call made me feel comfortable, the initial greeting and the consultation went well. I found the staff to be lovely. On this experience I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back. Once my dog responds to her injection and feels better I will be very happy.

I cannot recommend this vet highly enough their care and compassion is second to none and I have many pets and been to many vets over the years. Thank you

I called in an emergency. I did not know what was happening with our Dog. He was clearly very distressed.

I was told that sometimes dogs have fits and can become catatonic after that. Their consultation fee is $235.00 or I can wait until 9.00 am.it was 6.30 am. My dog was choking in front of me and I did not know the symptoms nor was I helped with what was clearly an extreme emergency.

My beloved family per died that morning in front of me despite me calling for help.

Professional and friendly staff, excellent communication and well priced for afterhours emergency care.

No compassion was shown, only interested in their accounts.sign an agreement with exorbitant fees at time of need. They worked us for every cent they could prolonging overnight hospital stay. In an emergency I say have another option than this place. Has been reported to WA vet board and their contract looked at by consumer affairs. Still have not heard from owners.

Unfortunately had to put down my cat due to sickness two weeks ago. I chose to have him privately cremated and the ashes returned to me. The staff said that they can sort out cremation through a third party and that I could leave everything up to them to sort.
I then get a call informing me that there was a mistake on their end and my cat had been mass cremated and I would never get him back, despite all my paperwork being correct and stating exactly what I wanted.

Devastated is an understatement.

I'm sure this clinic would have been amazing. They knew we were coming (my dog is in critical condition with an abscess in her liver), since 3pm the same day. But they still couldn't take her on with two hour waiting time, even though she has been classed as critical.

I was told to arrive at 5: 30 and call prior to coming in. I called and they told me to wait another 15/20 mins before calling again to see if I could bring her in.

Called 15 mins later and they said that they couldn't take her due to a number of walk-ins, even though prior they were sent her file and were supposedly 'prepared'.

We were told to go there because they would have the particular antibiotics she needed to help get through her infection. Our current vet does not have this.

We are hopeful nothing bad will happen to her (told at her ultrasound that this was a critical time and it was imperative to get her the treatment she needed), but I'm now terrified. We will try another emergency vet further away from home but unfortunately we don't have many options. Midland was our best hope and thought because they were aware of us, we would be top priority.

Poor service and miscommunication, even though they knew what the go was.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Looked after my injured dog with lots of care and in a timely manner.

Thank you to the vets and nurses who cared for my Ruby over night. It was a very stressful situation for me and her, and everyone was lovely and took great care of her.

Never Again. Had our cat there last night. Took him in because he had a nasty gash on his tummy. Supposedly “triage” but our cat wasn’t even checked for an hour and a half. The whole time he was there it turns out he had a cut so deep and so wide that we had to put him down (about 4-5cm squared). The severity of it was only found out two hours later when they finally got to him.

Poor buddy would’ve been in so much pain. No pain killers were given to him until about two hours later after they got to us. By that time he was finally given painkillers, 15 mins later he was put down. So disgusted that no one checked on him quickly when he arrived, and that he had to suffer that pain for so long.

Disgusted that he had to suffer and no one even took a quick 5 minute look at him before attending to other pets so he could’ve had pain killers sooner. I understand there was a critical patient at the same time as we got in, but that was finished 30 mins later. Will never be going back. 0 care for the animals. Not to mention they tried to do multiple blood tests for things unrelated to what we had gone in for which was going to set us back $800.

Not to mention that it cost us $700 in total the whole night for the worst experience ever. Will never go back. Still haven’t heard from business owner

I had to wait 2+ hours to be seen by a vet but I’m sure if my dog had more of a critical injury I would’ve been seen faster. The staff definitely cared a lot about my dog and I while we were waiting. The service fee was $220 for removing a grass prickle from my dogs ear but I can’t complain. I’m really happy there is a 24 hour vet like this that is close to home.

Amazing vet clinic, we have been here so many times for injuries, sickness and also as blood donors. The staff are so kind and take such good care of my pups whenever they are there.
My dogs do happy dances when we get close to the vets because they have such a good experience with the clinic and staff.
Angel just finished her quarterly blood donation and is resting up after an evening of love from the clinic staff.

Very professional after hours clinic. Quickly diagnosed issue was not serious and did not push for expensive scans etc.
