ALDI Waikiki

They are too slow to man the checkout when called for it drives me nuts when they call on the pa system rrrrttrtr

Clean spaceous store with modern ambiente. Good to have ALDI to set the Australien food duopoly Coles and Woolworths under pressure to reduce the hefty price premiums in Australia of more then 50% compared to international levels.

The shopping was alright spoilt by the impatient male checkout assistant who couldn't wait a moment for us to get our purchases across to the packaging bench, so we could pack our shopping bags.

What a terrible experience today. Sunday 21/02/21,4: 50pm.
Down to one checkout with customers waiting. I watched a customer unload their trolley onto the counter and they closed it! They then had to put everything back in their trolley and join the queue of another checkout. When I calmly and respectfully explained to the 3x staff members what had happened and said, "that really isn't good customer service. " I was told by a staff member, in front of everyone "pull your head in". I am astounded and will make a formal complaint. I certainly won't be back and will be sharing this experience with all my contacts. Plenty of other stores to use.

I went there to buy antibacterial wipes $1 dishwashing liquid and 2 apple sauce i love shopping in aldi becsuse it's suits to my budget really good that store aldi - glad that we had here in perth same in germany.

Very pleasant shop. Not nearly as bad as Rockingham city or Kwinana, some places I've been is like desert wastelands similar to the mad Max movies where all the critters come out from under their rocks to cause others discomfort. The eccentric selection of random items near the freezer sections is pretty cool.

I could not believe the amount of off meat for sale in Aldi, packets of mince with streaks of grey mince through out, packets of steak with the underside grey. Once that grey colour is in the meat it is ruined and the smell is vile. On top of that u can purchase alcohol in isle 1 which had 7people in line all with full trolleys. Next register was was for smaller shops, but no booze lol. I feel sorry for the people who can't spot off meat and purchase it. If I had more time I would of stacked it all up and blasted the manager.but l was in a rush. Had to leave with 0 items. Good different lol poor different.

ALDI is a brilliant chain of stores. They are family orientated and serve people in a way that others don't. They offer quality food and products that help families on a tight budget. A great alternative to Woolworth and Coles. I wish they would come to NZ, where I now live. Not many here know about ALDI, but there vision and their beliefs in God, tell me, they are a great company to support, because they are teaching their children the value of money and families. That families always come first. I like them and we need them in NZ to take away the monopoly that these big chains have. The big chains will always charge more, because there is very little competition. Their pockets get fatter and the consumer starves.

I visit this store most days on my lunch break as i work in the complex. I never get good service and unfortunately they lack an express lane which is quite frustrating as there is always extra long ques

Slightly bewildering experience (not used to self packing etc). Aisles are of appropriate wide size

Understaffed and usually has no lines open for normal groceries but there is always a line for the alcohol but have been yelled at for going through there when there was no other lines open disapointed really enjoy the prices doesnt make up for the rudeness

Still have no idea why Sheep keep shopping at Woolworths or Coles when Aldi and Spudshed are so much better and more value for money.

Visting from UK and been in a aldi shopping there. They have very much same lay out.choice of food and drinks and now alcohol very good.very good value too.if you not been in yet give it a try you could be saving.

Most of the time the shelves are empty and you have to keep calling in looking for stuff cannot do a full shop.
People are nice in there but needs more organization.

Couldn't find it anywhere. No parking or signage! Worst experience ever. Ended up leaving after 15min!

The lady that served me around 4: 30 on the 9th of Jan 2019 was extremely rude when I had gone to the wrong lane whist buying alcohol, instead of being nice about the situation she made me feel like an idiot for not seeing the signs. I do not appreciate being belittled in public.

A typical ALDI store with everything you'd expect. Seems to have long lines often (maybe lack of staff?) but have recently added an Alcohol section so is now our go-to store being the closest to us. The meat specials are snapped up pretty quick but getting there early helps.it's friendly enough and usually has everything advertised there and waiting for purchase.

Love the shopping, love the products, hate that I cannot phone the shop during its opening hours. I think I left a product in store in error but only way to find out is to phone tomorrow, or drive back now. Poor Service from Management I think. There are staff on duty till 8.00pm should be able to answer a phone.

Broad range of home meal requirements at very competitive prices. Really need to get used to the different brands which are similar to the major store chains.

My local. Always good shopping here. Noce staff, best prices. Keen to be able to buy a beer here.
