Albany Gardens Tourist Park reviews
46Great stay for years until the Jumping pillow came now all day and til after dark screaming crying yelling and swearing if you book a site make it down the back as far away as possible or forget having a restful peaceful stay.
We stayed on a powered site for a few days
We have been travelling in WA for four months with our van
This Caravan Park absolutely ranks amongst the best we have stayed.
Check in was warm and pleasant
Drive through sites make so much difference, easy to set up and lots of space.
Ideally located, fairly easy walk into town.
Congratulations to the Tasman and Gidday group, would definitely recommend this park.

Nice caravan park well located to take advantage of shopping etc in Albany. Excellent angled sites which make setting up a breeze and the camp kitchen is great. Playground is far enough away as to not be disturbed by yelling/screaming kids having fun. The dump point is a fair walk being at the back of the park, and our stay was only spoiled by nobody cleaning the ensuite for 14+ days and as there was no mop, bucket, cleaning items etc, we weren't able to do it ourselves. Wifi was very sketchy and frustratingly non-existent at times even though we were pretty close to the office. Apart from those issues, we can recommend this park.
We loved this park. Lovely reception at check in. We had powered caravan site for 5x nights, large drive through site with slab & grass, your own power source & water drain, lots room. One of the best set out & planned so you’re not on top of anyone. Didn’t use camp kitchen but was clean & roomy. The amenities were cleaned daily, it was just the excess water because of the design of the showers, & intermittent hot & cold water made showering but hit & miss. But the great sites outweighed that negative. Highly recommend.
Very clean and very well priced
Fantastic very helpful lady at front desk
Dog friendly
Showers and Bathrooms are immaculately clean
Will definitely stay again
I had my own caravan, so I am unable to comment on the cabins.
I had an ensuite site. The site was a decent size, with a concrete slab for caravan and awning area.
The ensuite was dated but clean. There was also ample hot water.
Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here.
The staff were lovely & most accommodating!
We booked for one night, decided we didn’t want to leave after the first night, luckily the reception ladies were able to secure us a second night even though the park was fully booked. The ensuite site was excellent & clean, however we switched to the non ensuite site the 2nd night & were pleased to find the shared amenities also excellent & clean. Definitely recommend!
Lovely campsite. Dog friendly, clean bathrooms accessed via key, powered grassy sites for tents, hot showers, near town, secure entry (via fobs), trees and fences to take the edge off the wind when it's gusty.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was way better than I expected for the price I paid, had everything and more. You’ll be my first choice of accommodation next time I’m in Albany. Thanks again
Lovely Caravan Park, only 1 thing that my Wife doesn't like is thieves stealing her washing powder and softner from the amenities block, only away for 2 minutes and came back and both were stolen. We've been to so many other Parks and this is a first. Not happy. Staff told wouldn't help, won't return
Awesome spot close to food and shops.
Grounds are evenly spaced we took an unpowered spot we had the morning sun which dried out or tent.
Bathrooms showers and cooking area all great and clean. Would come back
Well other than the power in the whole park going out twice the stay was ok. Extra ammenities would be a good investment as the park was quite full due to a long weekend. Over all quite and clean and ok for $38 only cause it’s close to the city centre.
A fantastic park, in the heart of Albany. Large clean grassy sites, and all facilities a credit to the staff.
Ok place to stay water pressure in showers not so good and iffy hot water some days bilut others good. Quiet even though a building with next door but stayed over a long weekend.
Fantastic facilities, clean and well maintained. Pizza oven was a massive bonus. Highly recommend
Just spent the week here in Albany. Deluxe chalet was great, clean and very modern. Friendly staff, well kept grounds. Kids loved the large jumping pillow and even went in the pool. Great location close to town, good Indian restaurant across the road and good fish and chips a few minutes away, what more do you want
This is a lovely clean and neat park with all the facilities you need for an Albany stay. Close to town and all facilities. Choice of sites with ensuite or not, and cabins available as well. We were greeted with a friendly welcome for us and our little dog. We've stayed before, and we will again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the the Albany Gardens Tourist Park. We stayed in one of the two bedroom chalets for four nights, with two adults, a toddler and a baby. There was ample room for us to set up a portacot, and the dual tv's were excellent for when we didn't feel like watching bloody Paw Patrol. The chalet felt brand new, super clean and tidy. The staff were great at check in, and were helpful in setting up an early arrival. We could park right outside our door, and the facilities in the park (play ground & bouncy pillow) were fabulous for our family. Located really well in town.
We just spent 8 nights at this wonderful place, this is my first time ever in Albany with my family and from the moment we arrived we loved it here. Mike and Annie and Joanna were very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information on what to see and do in Albany. They make time to get to know all their guests and are very caring, honestly we felt like part of the family. We stayed in the family Chalet that was very clean and modern and had everything we needed. The grounds are very clean and spacious and well set out. We loved how it has a Pool, Bouncy pillow and Basketball court that can change over to a Tennis court and the Recreational room that has a Pool table and Table tennis with a T. V and comfortable couch with air conditioning if needed for our kids. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Albany Gardens and will definitely be back again. We left early the next morning and weren't able to say bye to Annie and Mike and Joanna and Thank them for a wonderful stay at this amazing Holiday park. So THANK - YOU to you all so much for making our holiday a memorable one.
This is a well run and well maintained small park. Sites are generously sized and grassy. Ensuite blocks have good sized slabs and lots of grass around them.
Children are well catered for with a small pool, jumping pillow, play park for the younger kids and a games room with pool table and ping-pong table.
Ablutions are cleaned thoroughly several times a day.
