Myself and I think everyone else in the ABS Institute NEIS Small Business Course has found it fantastic. There is a lot of good information. Everything is explained very well. Very happy that I have been part of this course, enjoyed it and completed everything with Tracy's help. She has been a great lecturer.

Simply outstanding eduction delivered at a pace for everyone with all levels of literacy and numeracy. Very supportive, encouraging and honest company. I throughly recommend ABS Institute to absolutely anyone and everyone. You won't be disappointed.

The EBMOB workshop was an awesome experience. Sandra and Luke were helpful throughout the whole course and I learned amazing business techniques that i never even thought of before. I Highly recommend for anyone looking to start their own business. Thanks for all the help guys

I am fortunate to have partaken In a training program at ABS Institute recently, in preparation for a business program. I have been filled with confidence for the future, after gaining some invaluable knowledge and tools from the course facilitator who genuinely cared about those of us in her training group.

I did the Certificate III in Micro-business and was impressed in the way it was delivered. This course should be a mandatory course to help people get through life and implemented in the last years of high school I feel.

Pippa our trainer was fantastic and patient with our questions and gave excellent life experience about business; both the good and bad parts which gave me ideas on how to potentially counter unforeseen issues in the future.

If you're thinking of getting into business and have no prior experience. Do not underestimate how helpful this course will be for you! It will be where you best could spend your time, other than on your business itself.

ABS was informative and welcoming.they understood individual needs and catered for everyone in the group. Tracy was amazing and was invaluable.:)

I agree with others this is the sort of stuff that should be taught in school. The course was awesome. Having messed around before thinking I was running a business was a joke.
This course has given me real depth and insight in what I need to do. Its given me an achievable goal which I am excited to get out there and achieve.

The comfort I have knowing my fate is in my hands now and not at the hands of an employer.

I have just completed a 8 day Certificate 3 in Micro business management.
At 60YO I was unsure what to expect after many years in small business. OLD DOG NEW TRICKS?
I was surprised and challenged with the content of the course overall!
There was a number of great keys that i have taken away and the course also prompted me to restructure my business activities going forward.
I have come away with a strong drive to succeed with the new ideas and mindsets i have obtained.

I had a fantastic experience with ABS. Their personable mentors help navigate the small business and startup scene with great practical advice, insuring a well rounded understanding and ticking the foundational boxes to get your business started. For example they cover core legal bases, (eg public liability insurance and connect you with an affordable broker), introduce you to central accounting techniques and point you in the right direction for what the latest useful small business technology is. They also enlighten you as to how to build appropriate networks and connect you to get continued advice affordably or for free through non profit community based organisations that assist in the growth and development of small business. Thanks for inspiring me to pragmatically realise my vision.

I took part of NEIS training facilitated by Pippa Spibey in The Lab Coworking space Rockigham. Pippa is a knowledgeable and relatable trainer with a counselling background. Her handouts and presentations were to the point! I went into this with an intention to fully focus on my photography business and give myself a time to think where I am heading. I have received invaluable insights into how to promote my services to my ideal client and how to utilize my client's list for direct marketing campaigns. The financial spreadsheets for reporting and estimates are something I will be using for my business from now on. I have been fully guided while creating a business plan and marketing plan for my business. I have also learnt from other attendees and made new connections. After handing in all the weekly assignments and all the plans, I have received Certificate III in Microbusiness which is a bonus. Thank you!

I really enjoyed doing this course. At first I thought it was too difficult but I persevered. The trainer and staff were very welcoming and friendly. It has given me a lot of confidence.

Great agency to undertake the NEIS Programme. I can’t thank ABS Institute enough, it provided a me with a great understanding and grounding of what it takes to start my own business. I was not left wondering were to go to next, knew the processes and what was expected of me.

Before starting the neis program I had no idea about the internal structure of what it takes to run a business, from book keeping and invoicing to marketing strategies and engagement and just general things that go into running a business. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with friendly staff and mentors whom are genuinely invested in helping you on your journey and invested in making your goals and dreams a reality.

The mentorship you receive has been most valuable to me, helping with any concerns I had and giving their own personal experiences and knowledge that can be used in your own business to help make it successful.

For anyone thinking about utilizing the program I would highly recommend it, as someone who had no idea about business or what it takes to run one, I have walked away so enriched with knowledge and the confidence that I can do it. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.

All the staff and mentors at ABS Institue are so genuine and helpful. Even while completing the micro business course I was given one on one support and extensions due to family circumstances during that time. I am finally on the NEIS program scheme and have received so much help and guidance, 1 month in and my business is thriving. Mentors are genuinely interested in you and helping you succeed with your business. ABS Institute have exceeded my expectations and have helped me build my confidence within myself but in my business.
