This was our 4th stay at Abbey Beach Resort and as per usual we had a wonderful experience! Our apartment was spacious, clean and had all the amenities (and more!) we required for a family of 5. The kids enjoyed running between the resorts pool and Abbey Beach which is situated on the resorts doorstep - the best of both worlds!
The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed a beautiful dinner at the resorts restaurant and enjoyed a few drinks at the bar.
The resort is conveniently close to so many wonderful attractions in the South West, there’s always an abundance of fun things to do and places to eat.
We can’t wait to return for our annual family trip to Abbey Beach Resort

Resort is really good. Thing I don't like is they have only one split air conditioner in the living area in an apartment of 2/3 beds. During hot summer days/nights, it is not comfortable to sleep at night as the air con does not cool down the bedrooms. Could provide Netflix on TV.

Accomodations are a bit outdated but the facilities and activities are great. There is something for everyone. Easy access to the beach and great bike trails to find and ride.

Had a trip booked with my family for months and had to cancel due to discriminating health policies. Should be ashamed.

Accompanying the registered guest, he paid over $400/night for the studio spa room during the Christmas/New Year period and the room was certainly NOT worth that kind of money. The room was admittedly ok - comfortable, decent tv, comfy bed (horrible pillows though) etc.and did what you'd want a room to do. However, it's just not worth the price tag. Upon arrival the air con was not working properly so I opened the cover and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. Following the note in the room to immediately raise all concerns with the hotel, we did and tried to ascertain from the receptionist if there was even a cleaning schedule in place for air cons. His response was, "I'm only front-of-house, I don't need to know if the air con filters are on the maintenance schedule. " - great to hear upfront that staying here again will likely result in the same issues upon arrival and require intervention to make the room clean. Overall, the room and hotel was old, tired, noisy and grubby, and definitely not worth the over-inflated holiday price tag. Upon checkout, my partner was asked how the stay was and he advised it wasn't up to par, to which the response received was, "Sorry". No action, no request for more detail or any indication that the situation would be different next time.

Would not stay here again. Could get a luxury room at Crown Towers for that kind of money.

Edit in response to owner: who paid for it is completely irrelevant to the outcome of the stay. It is supposed to be value for money (for me) because I was not the one to hand over my credit card? A ridiculous response. As for your comments on being a family-friendly resort, perhaps do not market the place as some luxury 'resort' (and with a resort-level price tag) when it more closely resembles a motel. My comments are reflective of the experience I had, and may assist others in deciding if this is the right place for their holiday expectations. As for not reporting noise specifically, staff were advised of our opinions upon leaving with little care for our response. There is clearly little value in reporting such things, as your response highlights. Perhaps instead of trying to put this back on me as the problem, you assess the situation for what it is and focus on rectifying the situation for future guests.

20th Wedding Anniversary. My husband and I booked for 3 nights in a studio apartment supposedly overlooking the park but got the carpark instead. We had not been on a holiday just us two since our wedding 20 years ago and was so excited to relax and enjoy every moment. The food was amazing and the main gentlemen that runs the Cafe was the friendliest face we had their. Our room was very outdated and the bed very hard (lucky we took our own pillows). The surroundings around the Resort were beautiful with the beach so close. Our towels were not changed by day 2 and I don't think house keeping even came into our room as the small milk cups were not refilled. On our first night guests in the room next to us were noisy from 10pm until around midnight and we could hear everything they were saying word for word and the second night we had guests on the other side get to there room at midnight banging around and also loud talking including using the spa bath with jets going until around 2am. We had enough and advised Reception about how paperthin the walls were and we wanted to check out early to be advised that they had no one else ever complain about the noise before (funny that as I read alot of reviews when we got back and it has been noted before). They really didn't care and refunded us for our last night and we left. Very upset as we had been looking forward to staying there for so long but all we got was broken sleep and a disappointed stay. If I had read previous reviews we would not have bothered. Would not recommend at all.

Rooms are tired and run down and so are the open common areas.
Not a 4 star property in its current condition. Pretty ordinary room,
No aircon in bedroom, window treatments falling apart. No blackouts here, can’t sleep once the sun comes up.
Check out the view in the photo for a $400/night room.
Great location,
Breakfast buffet was decent and coffee was good.
All staff but 1 (guy at check in on Friday 14th arvo who seemed a bit arrogant) were good especially the restaurant staff and the girl at check out.
Amazing how they as you to switch the aircon off at night to keep the noise down but the hotel itself was very noisy Friday night not sure what was going on May be our room was in a bad location.

We had the spa suite and absolutely loved it. Lovely and close to the beach. The restaurant had excellent food.

Lovely place to stay, the resort is really well kept. As far as amenities goes it was awesome. There was a lovely pool or two and offered a lovely walk to the sensational beach.
We can't wait to visit again.
The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a great weekend there.

Beautiful resort, but needs more money spent on it. Oven in the kitchen didn't work in our one bedroom apartment. The other room opposite us was vacant, so we could use that oven, but that didn't work either. We were given a different room, but was smaller, so we stayed in the same room without dinner because of an oven that doesn't work. There's no WiFi on the TV and you are expected to use your phone to hotspot which drains and damages the battery of your phone if used for a long period of time. The first night we used the jacuzzi. It was filthy. We thought housekeeping would clean but they didn't. Maintenance guy Wayne told us we'd be the ones to clean it ourselves. Reception doesn't know how to resolve problems for guests which will ruin your holiday. We are writing this review with hopes that our problem will get resolved.

Appreciate the reply but I do love the fact you completely ignored a few facts.one of the facts been the spa did not ever work at all and yes I did book on a third party site as it was $93 cheaper then when I booked directly through your own so the statement that you are over priced still stands:) no report as we cleaned the room told the cleaner who came to replace the towels as we were in the room that the spa was not working and it was filthy. They said it would be noted so sounds like a breakdown in your current staff

Stayed for 2 nights recently with husband and our baby, main reason for staying was to use the lovely indoor heated pool. I even called to double check the pool was operating and was told it is kept at 29c. It was not 29c. It was not warm enough to enjoy, especially with a little baby. I called reception on day 1 and spoke to a young girl, she said it was at 26c. Was told she would check with maintenance and call me back. No call back. I rang again on day 2 to ask if the temp had improved and they said they would call me back, I waited for 2 hours, no call. We went to the pool, again it was not anywhere near 29c. Very disappointing as they advertise to spend the winter in their heated pool. However, breakfast was lovely.

Friendly staff on arrival. Building and surrounds were immaculately presented and maintained - clean & tidy. Located right by the beach with walking/cycling path through the back gate. Cafe and restaurant on site. Great access to Busselton and Dunsborough. BBQs available. We had a spa suite the room was clean, spacious and well appointed. Good value for money. Would probably stay again was a really good base for exploring the region. Staff were all.super friendly and helpful.

Place needs a serious upgrade, room needed airing out. Reception was rude, bar service non existent and don’t expect to use wifi either. All in all a very sub par experience for the price. Would never stay here again!

We came here for a winter break with the kids - the heated pool looked enticing on the website as were the large 2 bed rooms. Unfortunately it was all a bit disappointing. The rooms are spacious but outdated and very cold (heating only in the living room and not in the bedrooms). The pool was only warmed to the bare minimum temperature and the spa was only the slightest touch warmer than the pool, so once we had to run back in the cold to our rooms we were freezing (better off just sitting in the bath). The room service charge for delivery fro the restaurant to the rooms from the restaurant is double what you pay an Uber driver from in town, so we didn’t bother.

Organised a 1 night stay from Perth,
Reception was friendly at first
The cheese platter I paid for extra, was almost frozen as it must of been left in fridge too long.
Room was clean and nice but smaller then advertised, view of pool as requested.
No hot water! Checked in at 5 pm went to have a spa, at 8 pm no hot water they sent maintenance over and it seemed to be our whole floor I used my spa pack as I had been filling spa, cost us extra 25$ for that,
Only for it to be wasted once I had spoken to reception, they downgraded our room to same type of room overlooking parking and said that was compensation? Hmm
Ok and my spa pack would be replaced oh how nice of them I thought hot water was included the gentleman at counter had no care whatsoever we either went without a view or without hot water no thought of us or our experience just got rid of us like we were nothing and we had to pack all our things up and move all our things from room to room without any staff help unfortunately will not be staying here or recommend this place for customer service.

Best place for a relaxing holiday. Very close to Margaret River and entire SouthWest WA. Self sufficient apartments with views of Duck pond or beach, in-house restaurants, bars and sauna, jacuzzi, heated pool open till 9pm.
