8 Yolks Success

Took my two years old son last Wednesday, the food was ok but the service lady had no patience to answer my question.

This used to be my favourite local Cafe until lunch today. Wasn't overly busy. Had no change for cash payment. Waited 10 mins for drinks, then a further 10 mins for lunch which they only brought me half my lunch. Said they would bring bao buns, waited another 10 mins while my chicken went cold. Gave up and asked for them which they had forgot. Waitress who said she would bring them was eating her own bao buns for lunch by this stage. Very disappointing.

Enjoyed a lunch with my hubby here yesterday while our daughter sorted out her license plates. We were surprised at the menu and our food was delicious! We ordered the salmon / croquettes, the brioche French toast with crisp chicken thigh fillets & a long mac which I highly recommend. The portions were large and very tasty. Will be back for sure!

Great coffee but disappointed with food and service multiple times. Once I ordered open omelette with mushrooms, it wasn't seasoned with salt at all, when asked for salt, it took staff 30 mins to get back to me. I thought of giving a benefit of doubt as cafe was busy at that time. Went again and hx repeated itself, ordered shakshuka and wasn't seasoned at all and toooo sour.
When asked to get some salt and sugar to balanace it out to my liking, staff took 15 mins even on weekday morning when cafe was not busy even. Never eating there again. 2 star is for coffee.

This café is still able to manage good service with excellent food and coffee while observing Covid restrictions, no small feat for food service, they deserve praise, all of them esp. Staff.

Love this cafe!
They have great, flavourful food with lots of exciting things to try instead of the traditional breakfast menu items.
If you are looking for a new breakfast place to try I would recommend giving it a go.

Indoor and outdoor undercover seating, toilets.
Menu big enough to cover a lot of different tastes, coffee good, service good.
Eggs bene with avocado and spinach very nice with large portions.

We were very much eager to try this place as the menu and our friends recommendation made us looking forward to try it. Went there on a Sunday around 11am. Our friends order came after ours eventhough they placed it before us. The fairy floss and nutella pancake is very IG, very tasty and pretty. The big breakfast was a very disappointing as there were nothing big about it (the hasbrown were 2 bite size). Got a fish and chips kid size. I ordered a poke bowl that came in a takeaway container as there were no more dishes (the restaurant was not even packed.). Nervermind, it's just odd that I waited so long for a paper container. While I started to eat it I found what I thought first as a fish bone but it ended up being a plastic piece.
The waitress took back my bowl but she wasn't sure what to do. She came back few minutes later asking me if I wanted in a new plate or a new one. I asked for a new one. Hopefully, another waitress came back giving me this time apologize and the new poke bowl. I do understand that Sunday is a busy day but there is no excuse that the staff is not properly trained for such circumstances. Not sure if we will come back
