29Nice cafe, can get a little busy being one of the better cafes in the area. You can book in advance which is helpful. Personally prefer their dine-in food options over their takeaway.
We've just stopped in to enjoy a light breakfast, it was very busy but the service was excellent, fast and friendly. Coffee was to die for and I'm a coffee snob. So thatnku for a lovely visit we shall be back. Sue
Ok but nothing to write home about on this visit. Not my first time here and I will be back for sure, but I did feel this time that the food was overly salty and my coffee arrived at the end of my meal and was on this occasion very average.
It’s been better and I have no doubt this was a little off day, but the expectation is this is an above average brunch. The hollandaise sauce which I believe is home made is lovely and there is plenty of it. Just the salt killed the taste and the coffee was not great. Price wise, quite acceptable I think. Let’s see next time….
Was really hungry and thought I’d treat myself and try this place out post workout. It was uncomfortably loud but mostly due to other patrons in a small enclosed space so not gonna hold it to them for that. Ordered my go to breakfast smoked salmon eggs benedict. I normally like my food full of flavour but this was way too salty even for me. Think like the chef had thrown in a few tablespoons of salt into the hollandaise sauce. I ended up having a coughing fit because the third bite went up the back of my nasal passage from my throat and irritated that area. I’m not really one to complain so I just abandoned it and left. It was only later that evening I had a pretty hectic nosebleed, first one in 7 years but what really worried me was that it was also coming from my throat and still carried on for 30 mins. Rang after hours healthline direct. Went through a pretty thorough history and turns out it was a posterior nosebleed caused by salt burn! This is the only review I’ve ever left and that’s because paying for food to cause a medical issue is the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
Everything about this place is impressive.
The food is excellent. We had the cauliflower salad and an avo smash for lunch. Both had robust flavours and complex flavours with every part of the dish complementing every other part. We also had the matcha latte. Good matcha flavours and it was sweetened just right.
Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of a gourmet cafe. Don't expect a big feed for dirt cheap, this is just not the kind of cafe for that.
Service was quick and friendly. No frills. Nothing to shout about, but can't fault it either.
The atmosphere was relaxing. A good variety of seating arrangements for singles, couples and groups. The decor was neat.
Lots of parking available.
Man who owns this place is extremely unprofessional and unserious. He is an online bully and goes against his restaurant brand image of promoting good vibes.
AMAZING! Had the pancakes and OMG portions are generous and great staff
Definately would recommend this place.
Delicious food. Although the kids menu is slightly more expensive than other places the portions are very generous.
Delicious brunch, good serve, reasonable price. Comfy seating, free carpark. Strongly recommend.
An interesting menu. I ordered the corn and mozzarella, it was really tasty. Coffee is very average. Service was fine, but I had to repeatedly ask for the coffee I ordered well after the food came out. Staff, however, were very friendly overall. Parking here is not good. Right next door to dept.of transport so during the week it's very busy.
We've been here twice for breakfast, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Extremely tasty food with generous portions. The spicy chicken burger was delicious, and the fried chicken French toast was amazing. We will definitely be back!
We just got breakfast (eggs on toast and pancakes) delivered to our house. By far the best breakfast I have ever had. The food was even presented nicely inside their boxes
Great food. Friendly staff but very busy. Be prepared to wait a little.it is very popular. I had a burger that was excellent and way too much for me.but I finished it anyway.
Great job guys
Had an excellent lunch at 8 Yolks today - all dishes from the French Toast Fried Chicken to the Sirloin Beef Salad were beautifully presented and tasted perfect. The kids meals were huge and the kids were very happy. The matcha latte is probably the best in Perth, coffee excellent too. Hard to fault this place.
Been several times now. Need more consistency with the presentation ie cream first time, but not since. Otherwise the food is amazing.
Great food but the coffee is not great, been here before and they hadn’t disappointed but the coffee came after the food came out and it was a cup full of milk, this was after asking politely if the coffee was still coming and then a cup of milk with a “suggestion” of chai came out, not great this time, not sure what’s happened.
Absolutely blown away by how good the food was here. 100% recommend the spicy chicken burger. Music inside was playing fairly loud which meant the whole place was even louder with everyone talking over the music.
Had bacon and eggs with my daughter. It was just okay. Heard they’re good before I came. But it was a little disappointing. Nothing special and didn’t like the eggs at all. I think I would go back to Brushfoot cafe for sure. Not here
Very, very busy and the service took a while but the food was excellent. The blueberry and pear pancakes were fantastic.
I o ly had a coffee, however my daughter and dog ha eeaten here before and re ommend it. I did see some large plates of food coming out for breakfast or brunch so definitely worth going to check out. Coffee tasted good however my daughter who ordered asked for extra hot but it came back Luke warm that is why only 4 star. Go check it out nice place
