While the service and drinks were great the brisket sandwich I got was uneatable. The chips were oily & dirty & the sandwich was tough and extremely dry.

Great food. Great host and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you and we'll be back again

Tasty toasties and superb steak sandwiches! Would recommend the pizza and the sweet potato chips as well.
Convenient for coffees as well and friendly service appreciated too.
Worth checking out!

Had dinner before the show on Good Friday. Fish and chips was one of the best I have had. Would rate it 11/10 if there was some salad dressing. Pizzas were great and service was excellent and very reasonably priced. Will definitely go again before another show.

Great food, we had a group of 11 people and everyone enjoyed their meal, nice atmosphere, good service, happy staff.

Popped in for a meal with two kids before a show. Would much prefer to visit Darren’s over a pub at Crown.
Food was great, service was fantastic.plus dietary requirements met. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Unfortunately, the food has really dropped off since our last visit. Such a shame was a great little venue.

Had a fantastic visit to Darren's Small Bar. Had a lovely breakfast with a dear friend. Service was very attentive, food was very good and tha ambience also very good. Would highly recommend.

Have been to Darrens many times and more than happy with service, Beers and food Darren is great with groups and always goes out of his way to help in any way possible. Food is Excellent beer is cold what more could you ask for:) Watch out for great deals on game days at optus on his facebook page.

Great food, wonderful variety of options & typical entertaining banter from the man himself.

Just a pity they don’t reward regulars
They could have a loyalty card in place that would be so much better
Unfortunately, when we attended this week, the assistant was taking orders / delivering to tables & cleaning tables, she was well and truly overburdened with duties
They need additional staff

We came up from Mandurah and found this quaint little spot, what a hidden gem! The owner was so lovely and the food was wonderful. Great wine and beer. We will definitely be back.

Me and my mum both had drinks and they tasted weird. The staff is kinda friendly but boring. Never coming here again

We stayed at the Crown and it was so busy, so happy we decided to come to Darrens! Great food, and even better service. We will be back

Celebrated my husband's surprise 60th birthday at Darren's and it was a fantastic evening! Darren came up with great menu options and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere, service and every meal served up was spot on. Thanks to the chef. A beautiful short walk from the Crown Towers. Made my decision based on reviews, was definitely not disappointed. Thanks for a lovely night Darren!

Such an excellent little bar. Food is pretty spot on and the vibe is amazing. Cold beer and such a huge wine selection.

Amazing warm Bar with great staff, drinks, food & company.

Amazing place and food is great. Showed open today on website and yet on arrival after a bike ride at 1.40 for lunch it was closed.
