74Amazing pakistani/ Indian food. It's a must go place for this cuisine in Melbourne. Make sure to come early or book as it does get very full fast.
Worst food ever.
Cold karahi
Cold biryani
When biryani comes after 2 spoon we found a hair in the plate. No apology instead the waiter said we are short of staff ️
They warmed up the karahi in the Microwave and brought back to us. It was the worst karahi I have ever had and it was $38 dollars.
Stop making people fool and Stop judging people by their appearance that's what your staff does.
Please DO NOT waste your money to go to this restaurant. Its all pre-made and they just warm up in the microwave.
Not worth to eat food.first of all paying high price and waiting for disgusting services.toilets are stinky, no cleanliness.people are coming like animals for food, not relax environment to have food.pathetic environment, i asked for chicken biryani and they dont have it.i have to eat whatever available.what to say now.owner please look after your customers first and then run behind money.please guys its not worth it what you are paying off.i personally dont prefer this restaurant and dont recommend to any one.lot of pakistani good pakistani restaurants are available go there.last time i am having my meal here not after that.thank.you for wasting my time and money.
Awesome ambiance and authentic food. Must try their meat platter and goat. The kadai style serving is an awesome presentation and is in great quantity. Try their mango lassi as well. It’s well balanced and isn’t too sweet. We did have to wait for a while because place was packed but I suppose that’s a good sign.
So tasty and delicious food, good customer service
Karahi and bbq is on top, we go from Geelong to just eat from this restaurant, even in busy hours they serve and respond quickly, whatever i try it taste delicious I recommend to everyone who like authentic Pakistani style dishes must go there
One of the best places to eat in Lygon St. If you love the spices and Indian/Pakistani cuisine this is a must go. I’ve been ordering online from here all through lockdowns and is a regular dine in now that I’ve been double jabbed
Highlights here are
- paneer biriyani
- goat curry (white)
- chicken Karachi
Not that anything else is bad, but the above are definitely the best of the bunch.
The only thing I don’t like here are the toilets, which unfortunately are dirtier than the ones at flinders st station. So take a leak before you come to dine in and make sure you don’t have to go for the duration you are there
The finest spot to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. Everything is perfect, including the customer service. If you have to wait to be seated, I assure you that it is well worth the wait because the cuisine is so good.
Very poor customer service. There was no staff and no one was wearing mask! The food was fine though!
We visited Ziyka on a busy night, just after lockdown. And we were surprised by the great management! We orders a mixed plater, kasturi hhandi, lahoori paneer and the food was just AMAZING ;)
Everything was delicious with good quantity.
But the most impressive thing was customer service. The gentleman serving us was warm and friendly. I would give 10/10 stars to food and ambience. And 11/10 stars for the boy serving us!
One can definately learn 100% customer satisfaction from him.
Compliments to chef (we didn't got a chance to tell them personally, as it was super busy)
Thumbs up to the whole Ziyka team.
Ordered Chicken bharta and Mutton karhai for take away along with butter naan. While chiken bharta was good, Goat karhai was average. The meat pieces were too big for a dish like karhai. For the same reason it seemed a bit undercooked. And what do I say about the naan? They were fine in taste but nothing like a naan. It was a simple butter chapati sort of thing. It was THAT thin and small in size.
We took our guest from Mew Zealand for dinner after lockdown celebration.
Had great time.
Food was fantastic n yummy though.
Very bad experience - completely misleading information.
We were big group and so we called them and asked for booking. The guy on the other side said - don’t worry we have lots of tables and huge capacity - no need to book.
And when we reached they said no available table. Above all we felt they were very rude and left out.
During COVID times, raining outside and with kids we had to call atleast 20 near by restaurants to book. Our well planned evening went really bad because of this completely false information from the person whoever we spoke to. Will never go again.
Super delicious food at decent prices, and is ALWAYS crowded so that feels overwhelming but that's a me-problem really.other than that, due to the crowd, the food takes a bit to arrive but the staff still provides good service with absolutely no time wasted it seems
I personally believe that this restaurant is the best restaurant for Pakistani food in Melbourne. Loved their naan bread, BBQ and mutton karahi. Fast service even though they are always busy. Staff is nice and always running around, may be short of staff. Nice and highly recommended place for yummy Pakistani food.
Highly recommended. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. I feel like I am on a family dinner here even when I eat alone.
Had so many tables vacant, still asked me to wait for half an hour with a 6 months old kid in a 9 degrees wheather.
Absolute disgrace.
I've tried most of the highly recommended Indian/Pakistani restaurants north of the city, and this one tops it. Such delicious and affordable curries, great flavoursome vegetarian options that are unmatched by any establishment in the area.
It's the first time we came to this place and the staffs and customer service aren't welcomed. Being a muslim restaurant I asked if there a place for praying I was told no we don't in an unpleasant manner. Nevertheless the waiters were nice trying to cover up. Will not go there again. No good customer service at all
Only liked the Zhai supreme platter
Tried much hyped dishes Lahori karahi… not upto the expectation… all dishes taste similar.
Staffs did not guide us rightly with quantity food needed for three persons…it was too much for us at the end…went there with lot of expectation though
For us one time experience is worth….
Best Curries in town so far, beautiful Venue amazing atmosphere Ziaka is on top of my list, delicious curries with big fatty portion sizes
Please go try once and you’ll fell in love with this place
We had a table of 8 booked on a busy Saturday night, though we had no booking we had to wait 30 min to get a table but worth waiting it
As I belong from Hospitality too I know how hard it gets to control sometimes but personally I think with god grace you guys know that you are busy but lack of staff on the floor doesn’t really help just need to step up with the staff on the floor and better table service otherwise you guys smashing it in all departments, wish you all the best and see you guys very soon again
