Food is good, we ordered pure vegetarian food but they served us non vegetarian food. So disgusting.

Food was ok. Service non existent. Finally hot some drinks half way through primi. And then it was wrong. Waiter touched the arancini with his hand! I SMH

The food itself was quite good, we ordered a mixture of pastas and shared - they were all delicious. However, about 15 minutes after sitting down we were told by a waiter that we were being too loud and we had to be quiet! This was at 7pm on a Friday night. We were very taken aback and contemplated leaving, but stayed. We felt shunned, embarrassed and like we had done something wrong. Apparently another table had complained about us - which is ridiculous. We weren't even being loud, we were simply 5 people having a laugh and a chat on a Friday night. The waiter wasn't apologetic at all and sided with the other patrons - his tone was extremely cold and judgemental. Not a nice way to feel when you're eating your dinner! Let us talk and laugh for gods sake. What is this world coming to? Don't go here if you want to have fun and enjoy life. Will definitely never go back here again.

TLDR: an Italian gem - must visit.

Service: Julian was great - Friendly, quick and helpful.

Entree: mozeralla - light, fresh and subtle flavours.

Pasta: pappardelle duck ragu - for once, I actually finished this dish. I order it almost everytime at an Italian restaurant, and it usually let's me down Usually the duck is too tough or hard, or the pasta is not aldente. But the duck here was consistently soft and tender, and the pasta was perfect.

Mains: baked rabbit - the meat was tender (fall off the bone soft), sauce was amazing (sweet, savoury and full of umami notes), crunchy greens and balanced vegies.

Sides: roasted potatoes - not as crunchy as I prefer, but flavours were punchy (full of butter and herbs).

Beverages: Amaretto sour and the Chianti (red wine: both delicious. The Chianti especially.

Value: To be honest, we've paid more and have received much less (in taste, satisfaction, service, serving size) at other places. By no means was it a cheap meal, but very satisfied and happy with the recommendation. A must visit for our next special occasion.

My husband and I have been going to this wonderful place since it opened in 1985. Some of our memorable dates were here and it is always so special and welcoming. Over the years we have taken many of our overseas & interstate foodie friends who have been equally impressed by Teresa’s talents. Many places have changed and closed but we are so glad that this wonderful place is still around for us to enjoy. We are truly amazed by this tenacious woman and her talents. Cheers

Absolutely love this resturant! This is where we got engaged 2 years ago. Every time we come we are not let down! The staff are fantastic and make the experience just that bit better. Keep up the fantastic work.

Terrible - waited over an hour for our meals, and they didn’t seem to think that was an issue - Totally unacceptable in my opinion.

Truly a great little Italian restaurant serving up some classic and traditional dishes. Great place for date night or dinner with the family. (Try the gnocchi, you won't regret it!)

Overall, great authentic italian cuisine. Presentation of the eggplant parmigiana was a bit sloppy, but the taste was great. Very busy and noisy but the service was flawless.

If it wasn't how how my partner was treated it would be more stars. He went in, ordered takeaway and came back 20 minutes later to pick up. When he came back the waitress at the front automatically assumed that he was an Uber driver purely on the basis that he was brown. The lady who initially took my partners order told the waitress that he wasn't Uber and told him to wait on the side. So sick of the blatant racism from establishment like these. This has happened way too often to count and have had enough.

Has been to this place recently. A warm welcome by the staff really made a great first impression. We are 4 and started with 4 different entries. Mushroom arancini and Prosciutto wrapped artichokes and prawn cutlets are best. On the main course side, slow cooked baby goat is succulent and tasted great. After parmigiana, vven baked rabbit and duck tasted ok. Ended with Tiramisu which is yummy. Place is little cozy than how it looks in the pictures. However we really liked the ambience, atmosphere and food.

Service was impeccable, food was top notch, my partner and I both gorged ourselves on the entrees, so when the generous mains arrived, we both struggled to finished, which was a shame, the waiters wine pairing was good, I think next time, we might skip the entree and just get the main, really sad, because we were to full, we had to pass on dessert

Bit pricey but that is worth everyday given the food quality.

Wonderful, authentic food and good service, but like most restaurants, noisy. Very hard to talk to your companions. The cosy nook at the rear is a welcome relief.

One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Melbourne! It's home-style cooking with great skills and care and a bit of flare.
A diverse menu. Antipasto and pasta of course. Try the artichokes with blue cheese.
The rabbit is my go to meat dish but their goat is excellent too.
A very good option if you have friends in town!

I have been coming here for many years. The food is superb! The staff are wonderful. It is a really lovely restaurant & I always look forward to coming here.

If you’re looking for pizza and pasta you won’t find it here but don’t fret this is a superb restaurant with the most exquisite dishes Italian style without the carbs. Our friends invited us to join them for dinner here and we’re most pleased we did it was a wonderful evening not just for the company but for the delicious food and great service. This restaurant is a bit up market in slightly expensive but you certainly get the service and quality you expect.

You might find it a bit tricky for parking but the venue is right in the heart of a very solid half the location in Brunswick.
