Zambrero Melbourne Uni reviews
31Unfortunately the best food you can find in the campus. Sometimes the young people which serve food are not nice and don't enjoy their work.
Overpriced burritos.but still burritos amongst a bunch of not-so-great other food options. Ask them to crush up chips inside your burrito for a bit of crunch.
I really like Zambrero, they are excellent here, very helpful, friendly, the food is almost always fresh (sometimes the tortilla is a little hard). The staff are lovely. Overall, it's a great place to get lunch. It's a bit loud though, and always busy so make sure you order ahead using the online system. Zambrero, in general, is expensive!
I am a regular here as staff are always friendly and they have delicious vegan options. I love the IQ burrito with Verde sauce as it is filling and has a bit of a kick to it. Definitely recommend to keep you going during uni times! Canteen like decor is cute and provides a friendly and communal atmosphere
Really nice Mexican food, also fast service, which isbgreat for students in a rush or those who get really hungry. Bonus points for humanitarian efforts
Thanks for keeping me alive during my studies. I probably would have shrivelled up from malnutrition and been found weeks later under a desk if it hadn't been for your delicious burritos and lovely service. Cheers!
I love Zambrero, the staff are always friendly and efficient, the food is tasty and their ethics are even better.
Not bad food and excellently friendly service however they have stuffed up my order both times I've been to eat there so I can't give it more than three stars. Honestly there are better options in union house if you're looking for a good feed as the price can be a little steep here and they tend to be skimpy on the meat.
The shining star of Union House, undebatedly the greatest Burrito chain, a place of beauty. Incredibly friendly and efficient staff. The quesadillas are a solid cheap option, but the classic burrito is what you're looking for. Fully customisable with everything you could ever want in a burrito. Quality guac, quality beans, quality rice, solid variety of sauces and so much more. Truly what dreams are made of.
The food here is good, but the serving size gets smaller and smaller every time. Not good value for money.
The meals are always fresh and it's a good healthy option at Melbourne Uni, although I find the flavours to be a little bland compared to other Mexican restaurants. Zambrero donate a meal for every meal purchased, making it a relatively expensive place to eat. If you don't mind spending a few extra dollars for the sake of those less well-off than yourself, you'll like this place.
