Love coming here for lunch, the big burrito/bowl options give you A LOT of food and you can effectively get 10% off if you come often and grab a punch card (9 for 1 free).

Some of the staffs are a bit stingey on the portions, but most of the peeps there are very nice and are usually pretty generous. I've gone through a bit punch cards and still love it.

Do avoid lunch hours if you can through unless you are happy to wait through a queue of 30-50 people.

The burritos and the bowels are delicious and filled with flavours. The portions are very filling and healthy. There is a wide variety of fresh ingredients to choose from. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Prices are reasonable. The place gets crowded during lunch time so there is a bit of a waiting.

This Zambrero is the one with the best service and flavor from all branches I have visited. I don't know how they do it but they are definitely different. They have great customer service, even though it is a bit crowded at lunch (cause everyone likes their food) they always welcome you with a smile and super efficient service. Food is always fresh, good vegetarian options, and great value for money.

Signature cauliflower burrito (Vegetarian) and chicken nachos are my favorites

Got a big chicken classic burrito for $15.90. Portion is fairly decent ~600g, toppings and ingredients are fresh. Taste is very average, nothing to write home about. Staff are quick and efficient.

It’s a great restaurants. Good food at what I feel is a reasonable price for the portion sizes.

This was my visit to the Zambrero chain and I was pleasantly impressed. The staff were excellent, food was fresh and reasonably priced, what more would you want?

I went for the classic bowl which was a mixture of protein, vege and sauces. Don’t forget the drink to add to your meal because you’re going to need it for that chilli! Overall nice experience.

Arguably the best mexican food in Melbourne, at least in the realm of fast food. Loved the pulled pork bowl. Great selection of toppings. Nice staff.

Bit average and over priced. Staff seemed lovely but pricing was more complicated than string theory.

The dude serving has been quite transparent telling everyone the power buritto cost more because it's more meat and not much more volume overall. I appreciate the clarity and disclosure. I would've felt ripped off if I just went for it.

Extra happy that I went for the vegetarian option and got 50% more rice and beans. Worth my 12 bucks.

Come early for lunch if you can as the queue gets really long at 1pm.

Favorite restaurant on campus. But today I received a burrito that was much smaller than usual. I ordered the same regular burrito as the lady before me. Less lettuce, less tomato, and less corn. Compared to the other one they made, my burrito looked shorter and thinner. The staff showed no intention to add more lettuce or vegetables. Please don't treat your consumers differently and serve salads generously. Tomatoes are my favorite thing in a burrito, not happy to receive only a few of them.

I went there twice (both around 11am) and they ran outta lettuce twice. Paying for the same price and you can't replace it with anything either. This sucks!

Great food however noticed uneven amounts for the same poke bowls ordered by 2 of us!

Had an amazing experience today. I started a strictly vegan diet that is gluten-free and avoiding basically anything inflammatory. The guys at the desk around 1-2pm were so helpful, I felt like they knew about my diet more than me and helped me choose the right fillings for my likings and preferences, advising me kindly if I was about to choose a sauce that had gluten! Such awesome help! Wish every restaurants/takeaway workers were as accomodating as these guys were! Thankyou!

Amazing business doing good things socially and environmentally. I always get served by the same couple of people; they are always calm, pleasant and respectful. I feel good visiting here.

Tried this for the first time today - chicken with white rice and beans, with a bit of all toppings and garlic sauce. Quite tasty, very similar in flavours to Guzman y gomez, although portion is smaller. The lady who served me was fast and nice.

I always go to this place for lunch and always satisfied with the burritos but last two times, it wasn't up to the standard that they normally deliver. Too much lettuce, not enough other ingredients. Lack in Flavour.

There’s no debate, this place is a temple. Even walking by it, the intensity of the burrito ambience can be smelled, triggering some sort of hormone release of endorphins. As you patiently wait in queue, well soaked in burrito fragrance, the cumulative hit of ecstasy produces a natural high to the point of delirium. Then the dream is disturbed by a voice over the counter, “what can I get you, champ? ” You struggle to pass air through your vocal chords for a moment, but quickly gather up the strength to complete your order of the classic beef burrito. “Beans and rice? ” I am honestly about to pass out from over stimulation, and yet I still stand, shuffling to the cheese-lettuce-sour cream station. “No guac for me thanks” I just can’t dish out that extra dollar for it I’m sorry. When the time comes to step up, don’t be a wuss, get jalapeños with chipotle sauce, and don’t forget to get a loyalty stamp. When times are tough you’re always there for me. I promise to be the same rock for you when the time comes for you to be weak and vulnerable. No one can be so perfect for so long. Don’t be afraid, I’ll catch you before you hit the ground. We could be heroes, just for one day.

Food really quite unpleasant. Line massive and food assembly system doesn't seem able to handle the lunch rush.

Okay, where do I begin with the veggie chiquito? !? So a chiquito is the younger sibling of the burrito. And I like the vegetarian option because they give you extra beans and rice and overall it's really fresh. Say yes to all the optional toppings like guacamole, tomato salsa, corn salsa, jalapenos and cheese. And also the sauce comes in various flavours. I particularly like the chipotle and verde. They also have a vegan option with vegan cheese and vegan sour cream (omg? !). They also have the gluten free wrap option too. Definitely try this place if you're ever at the Uni. The nachos is pretty amazing too.

I always enjoy food from Zambreros and never walk away hungry although they tend to be a bit expensive. They're still worth trying though that's for sure and they allow for a range of eating requirements such as offering vegetarian options.
