55“Mexican food” what a joke. Payed $15 for the blandest sandwich (not worth calling burrito) I’ve ever tasted. They’re also overstaffed with duds.
The was is really good but sorry guys there was a small problem of the girl who served me was a bit to arrogant and was putting the food like it's for free and didn't care about the customer service side. The 5 star is for the food.
Was a favourite but gone downhill- got home delivery and both dishes were stone cold and thrown in the bin.
Total S- a four letter word starting with S
Back to Hechos which never disappoints…
Good tasting food but not very flavourful, not even close to authentic Mexican food also, if I was recommending Mexican food I wouldn't recommend Zambreros as it's more of a Mexican themed restaurant made for the majority of bland Australian taste buds.
The food is enjoyable but there is a lot of missing elements as far as Mexican food goes.
Ordered a taco with corn chips and guac and a drink, the food was cold, the taco was stale and filled with lettuce, the guacamole was poorly made and had big chunks of unripe avocado in it, and they forgot my drink.
Have a chat to the friendly staff there while you pick up a healthy, quick meal. It's definitely our go to when we're hunting for easy food that won't stack on the extra kilos or cost a packet. Added bonus is the 'meal for a meal' charity. You can feel good all round.
As a Zambreros fan, our family has followed this chain all over, even as far as becoming a treat when based in Bangkok. The Brunswick store is one of the cleanest, best maintained presentation counters and always has a cheery welcome from staff.
Keep up the good work guys! ️️
I'm coeliac and was so happy to see there's a GF wrap available. Was extremely impressed that the staff member as if I had this condition then proceed to change this gloves and get clean utensils to make the wrap with, he also made sure he mentioned the wrap was for a coeliac when passing onto the next team member to continue making my order. Amazed to see such care taken in a fast food style restaurant! Thank you
The man who I am assuming is the manager was extremely rude to me and continued to stare at me and make me feel uncomfortable. I will not be coming back
Great quick service and staff are really nice:) Some are really passionate about the fantastic "Plate 4 Plate initiative". Feels great supporting businesses who pay it forward!
I feel like my food wasn't handled with care. Califlower is very sour, my teeth still hurt from it. I feel like there are two florets of califlower with two lemon juice on top. It's not cooked through. The staff served me mindlessly, didn't want to ask which option I'm choosing and when I did, she put one little spoon of refuted bean in it with 80% lettuce in the bowl. My general impression of the meal is sour salad with uncooked beans
Great burritos, happy friendly staff and a fairly cheap meal. I normally grab a burrito from these guys when I need a quick and easy meal while I'm out and about and on the run.
Definitely worth a visit, my only negative criticism would be they they need to make coriander an optional extra, not have it included by default in their salads.
Burrito was okay sized but for 15 dollars it should be bigger. The burrito was like eating a cold salad wrapped in a cold burrito wrap (not toasted) with a suggestion of mushy pulled pork, there was a few grains of rice and sour cream was hidden somewhere halfway through.
The image for the burrito bowl is a bed of rice with a good portion of meat and salad next to it. Reality is that half the container is lettuce with some meat and rice mixed next to it. Sour cream was a sad puddle that dissipated long before it arrived to me. I didn't even know where the side sauce was until I noticed a tiny puddle on the corner. It was somehow warmer than the burrito.
Ordered from Doordash, order cost 37 dollars somehow, plus delivery. Doordash also applied a 7 dollar tip for some reason so the order was 44 dollars in total.
Stone cold and shamelessly small.
Each of the item in attached photo costed at least $18. The first one here is supposed to be a superbowl. If this is superbowl, I feel sorry for the normal bowl.
The 2nd one are MAX nachos another $17 item, in total 14 nachos. Worse yet, it tasted like middle eastern fried bread.
The 3rd item is 12 inch Triple T deluxe. Everything is supposed to be triple in this. The only triple thing was tortilla which was triple wrapped to make sure only 50% fillings.
All this for $60 and I’m still hungry.
Have a little respect for your customers, PLEASE!
Was served by a very nice female employee. Friendly and professional. Served us 2 chokitos that were delicious!
Super delicious food. Always walk away feeling satisfied both from a taste perspective and a health perspective. The IQ bowl is a winner. I had it with the spiced cauliflower, I'd definitely eat that again.
Least Mexican testing burrito I've ever had. Ordered chicken filling and I'm pretty sure there's keen's curry in there somewhere. Odd.
Usually great value and service not but today. The server barely put any beef filling in my burrito today and the previous two guys in the li e had ordered their burritos mine was sitting beside their burritos at the till and I mentioned to the staff that mine was tiny in comparison. Very poor customer service even when questioned refused to do anything about it. I’m usually a huge fan of the franchise but unfortunately you’ve lost a customer today.
Shame.
I bought a burrito today 11:16am the staff is good and the burrito is good. I bought a chikito at 11.13am 4 Apr.and the food is not good, not fresh and staff not very friendly.
Environmentally friendly packaging, great healthy food, fantastic service, great price and a variety of options for food. I highly recommend.
Decent food, inconsistent surving size. Last burrito wasn't filling at all, hardly any meat, beans or rice. Understand only a little meat, but being tight on the rice and beans is very poor. Too many good cheap eats around the area to come here again
