Honestly, staff were really unorganised. The menu options have been halved and it's not the cheapest for a family of 4. Playground is great though.

Busy place. Waited over 45 mins for lunch. Hate that the kids always want extra money for the play centre. Havent been for ages and have never been a fan of Zagames, still not.

My meal was really nice. Had the rump steak. A pity 4 people in our group were forgotten & their meals arrived late & cold.

Had a lovely lunch with family for Mother's 94th birthday. Food good and staff friendly and efficient

I have been dining at Zagames since it opened in 96/97. It used to be magnificent. I, and 3 friends, visited last Wednesday for lunch to celebrate a birthday, something we've been doing for around 9 years - there have been occasions where the food wasn't great, but we had pre-schoolers with us and the playroom was great. But now, no pre-schoolers and never again will we be dining at here. The lass at the cash register taking lunch orders was either inadequately trained or totally unsuited for the job - no customer interaction whatsoever. One of my friends ordered the entree from the specials' board - the "operator" had to ask the cooks if it came with salad, and after confirming it did, was told by another chap behind the counter that it was not available, despite still being on the specials' board. Garlic cheese pizza is no longer available, but one can have garlic bread, with a sprinkle of cheese: at $3.00 extra for the cheese. I ordered the seniors' battered fish - it was 95% batter and 5% mushy white something inside - disgusting. The senior's voucher has been reduced from $3.00 to $2.00 - there is a surcharge for payment via credit card - the menu choices are extremely limited. Only 5 items of sweets were in the cabinet, and what we chose tasted like, and had the texture of, something which had been sitting there for a week. This is just the half of our most unpleasant experience - we will certainly not be going back. I did phone Zagames when I got home, and spoke with a supervisor, who had many excuses, but asked me to put my comments in writing to him, which I did - no response. Oh, and I have just discovered I could not post these comments until I clicked on at least 1 star above

Over priced.over cooked food, 1st time l had salom and thought chef was having a bad day, this time l tried the chicken and the same result, never again!

Very noisy but comfortable seats. Teens found the parma's dry, steak was average but hubby loved the beef ribs

Prices up, cost cutting.choices definitely down, freshness? Disappointed as trying to support local.but will try again as staff not responsible only Management

Food portions are good and come out fast, play equipment is handy but the drinks are crazy overpriced. $5 for a glass of lemonade is actually ridiculous.

Have been there had good and bad experiences once waited nearly an hour for a Parma was fully refunded and then given a cold Parma that I didn't eat but was happy I was refunded and the refund was tendered unprompted which was nice

Zagame's Boronia was good for a family dinner with young kids. The play area was great for the kids.

Food was good, came out quickly, large portions.

Price is reasonable.

Family restaurant with a kids play area.

Plenty of tables available, near the kids area and away from the kids play area.

Staff were friendly.

Plenty of parking around the back.

Noisy Pokies, and to much public noise, having a meal.not a great place for entertainment, No music or bands which Boronia NEEDS.
O, RAW Veggies With your meal, gravy is ok though.

Great place for dinner and drinks, they are doing a fantastic job of serving meals and drinks in a covid safe way!

Sports and gaming room ambience were great.
Food was overpriced.
We'll come back to play pokies or sporting bets, but not for the food.
Spent $90 for saganaki, salmon, parma and carbonara.
Salmon was good. Saganaki is soooo salty, and cant find any respite from the walnut chutney. Carbonara is tasteless although serving size is big (duh.they should be, as they are just spaghetti noodles), and chicken parma has moist chicken, but the sauce tasted like it came from a cheappie bottle of pasta sauce.

First time to order from uber. No Aoli sauce that has been charged. Portion of Parmigiana is too small for the price, it's like a kid's meal. Taste is just meh, not bad but not great too. Delivery is on time

Staff were helpful in our current situation.
Seemed to be a bit unprepared in the execution of the new set up.
Food was average unfortunately.we both had a parma and it was very dry and little sauce on it.hope to give you another try st some stage

We are regular visitors to Zagames Boronia with the family and grandchildren, and those visits are some of the the things that we miss during this lockdown. Therefore we were thrilled to know we can now order online and have the food delivered.
Tonight we ordered Seniors Chicken Parma with chips and vegetables plus a dessert of lemon and smashed meringue and we were thrilled.
The meal was piping hot and the chips were obviously freshly cooked and were perfect! The Parmas were made from real Chicken breast and the tomato sauce was obviously home made or if not, of high quality and the meal itself was delicious as was the dessert. Also the price was very reasonable as was delivery.
Thankyou Zagames, until we can visit you again, we will definitely be dining in on your food.

Good for kids only! Food not great. Customer service is not bad. Some ladies are helpful. It's our local restaurant so I don't mind coming here.

Seems like a great place to take the kids but it's loud and the 2 times I went the food was average.
