Good space, smoking area undercover, great meals and lovely staff. Great for dinner, a game or two or even just a few pots and a parma.

The foor their is very nice. Well cooked with a variety of choices. Fantastic kids area as well. The only criticism is our food came out a little too quickly and felt we were rushed

Too congested. It's not a pleasant dining experience when your chair almost touching the chair of the next table.

We asked for straws, but they said they are going plastic free then they gave us practice spoons with our cake.that’s kinda counter-intuitive.

Attended ar Zagame’s Berwick on Friday 23rd June 2017. We went as a family - 2 adults and one child under 12.
Booking was a little complicated – not that they were full for 6.00 p.m. When we booked - but had a staggered seating policy – apparently so the kitchen doesn’t get overwhelmed. Couldn’t book for 6.00,6.30 or7.00 but could book for 5.30 and if we couldn’t make it till about 5.45 – 5.50 that was ok – So why couldn’t we have booked for 6 and then come early instead?

Anyway – We turned up at 5.50 p.m. And were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table – tick. Unfortunately that’s where the ticks stopped.

First impression – big bistro with more television screens that a television station control room. If you want to go out and want to and watch t.v. Then this is certainly the place to go.
Ordering was easy and standard. Again friendly staff which was good. We ordered. One serve of cheesy garlic pizza, Chicken Caesar salad (Without anchovies), Firecracker Pizza and Dippy Dogs with Chips for the child.

The first item out was the Cheesy Garlic Pizza. Not much garlic – not much cheese. Johnny Boys up the road makes a better Garlic pizza. Shortly after we received the mains. Dippy dogs & Ships are just that – But for $7 bucks for 5 cocktail frankies and ships the profit margin on this is obviously very good. No cooking involved – just serving. Adding another $5 for drink and bowl of ice-cream it was pretty standard

The chicken Caesar was ok. Came as requested without Anchovies but not much cooking here either. Clearly the chicken was precooked. It was dry ad over cooked. Certainly in the time it took from ordering to serving you couldn’t cook chick that well done – so it was obviously not cooked to order. For $23 for 5 pieces of chicken, lettuce, sprinkling of bacon and slightly overcooked poached egg - the least they could do is cook the chicken to order.

The firecracker Pizza was okay – nothing special. The pizza sauce, mozzarella, hot sopressa salami, jalapeños, red capsicum & onion jam was pleasant but not hot as the name suggests. In fact the onion jam actually takes the heat off the Sopressa salami and Jalapenos. Probably Pizza’s aren’t their stong points. Maybe leave these to Pizza shops.

The menu in itself I felt was over priced for a Bistro. Probably by $5 or so for them mains and $2.5 for the Pizza. And come 6.30; it was difficult to tell the difference between a bistro and the Fountain Gate Food Court there was that much noise and kids running full sprint around the venue.

Deserts – We ordered Chocolate Mouse and Sticky Date Pudding. I guess I chose them from the display so it wasn’t we knew what we were getting. The moose was good and tasty if just a little dense. Certainly had lighter. But a white chocolate base was a nice touch and added a different element to cut through the dark mouse. The sticky date pudding was a dry muffin that was heated to just above cold with ½ a date on top and some caramel gnash. It came on a plate with a sprinkling of caramel sauce and highly aerated cream. Very disappointed. AS stated it was dry. No oozing caramel sauce inside or over the top – just a zig zag on the plate that was gone in 2 mouthfuls. Sticky Date Pudding type muffin would have been a better description.

Overall the experience was underwhelming. Would we return – maybe because it is close to us - but there are certainly more comfortable bistros nearby and places that are better value for money – The food court at Fountain Gate come to mind.

Really nice place to visit, and very friendly staff. The place is big enough for large family events or a dinner with 1-3 other people. The menu is pretty diverse and I can personally say that their pizza is delicious.

Ordered the Berwick's surf and turf and is ment to come with a cut of wagyu rump as advertised on the menu. IMO this surely wasnt a cut of wagyu as it was dry and tasteless and had chunks of gristle. The hassleback potato was burnt and unenjoyable. Sounded great on the the menu but failed to deliver.

Very ordinary. Do yourself a favour, if you want great steak go to MPD next door.similar pricing, if you want a good butter chicken go to DEEPAM next door cheaper pricing REAL Indian food. If you want Portuguese chicken for $28 go to Nandos across at Eden Rise you can feed the family, If you feel like Asian cuisine go to SEASONS next door. If you feel like fish and chips go to FISH AND CHIPPERY close by near HUNGRY JACKS.actually go there if you want a burger. The playground is good I guess. Please go if you love OVERPRICED AND ORDINARY
you will enjoy yourself.

Great playground area. Friendly staff. Food served hot and fresh, and most were enjoyed, however was let down by the burger which was over cooked and so dry I choked it down. A shame as otherwise this place was decent!
