Falafel is so good, nothing else, we got the falafel with no slad and only homus, no dip no nothing, actually they do not have salad, self service. Nothing interesting actually.
I would recommend their falafel take away only and enjoy it home

So the owner charged me $11 for a baklava box when it’s actually $8. Bravo, you’ve just lost a customer for $3.

A terrible experience. Food order was forgotten by staff. Ordered 6 items in total, 2 items came out and after a 15 minute wait asked is there a issue. The food arrived after another 7 minutes and the mezze plate was tasteless and underwhelming. Don t waste your time or money on Zaatar.

Food was what one would expect from a place of the same category, but service is non existent. People not polite. They all seem angry for some reason.

Food is okay and service is the same. They’re very busy and concentrate on processing orders quickly rather than accurately. Often repeat our menu edits to the cashier however upon the arrival of food, we’ll still have mistakes almost half the time.

The food is great; however, I took a friend with me and the store wasn't up to scratch: there were quite a bit of dust around the window sills and the bathrooms needed to be observed after customers. I haven't been back since which is unfortunate even though I love their Lebanese pastries.

Nice place in general! The food I ordered though was too bad to be Arabian kebbeh tasted so bad and was hard as a rock, the meat was old and not as expected. Fattoush had old dead lettuce leaves. Sorry guys I had to share this.

Cheese and vegemite pies are our Saturday staple.and maybe some extras in between. Yummy coffee and vegan pastries

Good quality cheap lebanese fare. Try the chicken pie and the sausage pizza. Team that with their bundled salad dip and mezze. Plenty for two people for less than $30.

Always try to visit when I’m in Melbourne. Love this place. Good variety of food & always fresh & tasty. Wait times are brief & service is very friendly. Great work guys:)

My cousin had brought me and my family here for brunch when i was in Melbourne in September & I love it! Nice middle-eastern cuisine, portion size was big (for asians) and I miss their coffee! Surprisingly their coffee was legit good, I had Vanilla latte - good coffee bean, smooth milk froth and comforting!

Absolutely love it here. Food is always fantastic, service is great, always busy, but you never have to wait long for your meal to arrive.

I would suggest the big breakfast!

Love Zaatar! We go most weeks and it never disappoints! Always delicious and not over priced. Always get amazing service from everyone there especially Violet and Nura on the weekends!

Probably one of THE BEST middle eastern bakery/cafe in the north. Coffee is always in point, the service has always been impeccable, and the food! AMAZING! Their Big Breakfast is definitely what you need to start a wholesome day!

We have filled our belly to the point we couldnt take a deeper breath with food that was not only insanely delicious but also cost us around $5 per person. This place is incredible!

Went here recently with two friends, didn't really enjoy my time there, dirty floors also chai latte was actually disgusting, and cold. Oregano bread was also cold? I couldn't stay long.
But i might give this place another try hopefully in future and things will change for the better:)

Staff member droped the drinking straw container on the floor. Instead of placing all the straws that were on the floor in the bin, she just place them back into the container and placed it back on the counter like nothing happened.

Amazingly delicious food with lots to choose from. Dishes work well as share plates and there are plenty of tables if you want to eat in. Staff are friendly and helpful. Tram and train are both handy.
