Yim Yam - Yarraville

We ordered vegatarian laksa and curry puffs. Everything was extremely sweet, all you could taste was sugar. Laksa and curry puffs had the exact same flabour, there was no escapaing the sickly sweet taste. This was the worst laksa we had and will not be ordering again

My go to place to eat in yarraville. Always good. Nice people. Good service. Terrific food. Not expensive. The roti is divine. Recommend the caramelised banana roti with coconut ice cream - yummo!

Very nice food, good customer service.
Only thing need to improve is packing. As every time I buy food from there as a take away. After reaching home it always leaked.

The food was delicious with gluten free options available, just ask the wait staff. Though the service was quite slow and chaotic, perhaps being a Saturday night service. The servings are large.

Always loved Yim yam but terrible experience this time. Maybe change hnds? Waited 45 min to be told our order was unavailable. Stir fry came, no rice for another 30 mins. (had to ask twice) Dopey service. I understand Sometimes they can be under the pump and short staffed but No apologies or explanation. Hopefully better next time.

What service! I order Phad Thai and asked staff not to add sugar. A little later, the chef herself came out to let me know without a little sugar Phad Thai would be tasteless, so I agreed to a little and it came out really delicious.

Called ahead to plan pick up for time required and they insisted I call back 10 mins before I wanted the food as this is how long it would take to prepare
After doing this I waited 50 mins before cancelling and leaving with no dinner.
There was a shop full of angry people with a similar experience. You would expect if they do this every day for a living that they would know that they get busy periods.

Ordered food 5.48pm; delivery time quoted 7.05pm. Rang at 7.10pm; told it will be here in 15 minutes. 7.45pm NOTHING! It might be good to dine in but their take away and delivery is HOPELESS!

The food was very salty! We both had stirfrys- I had the chopped beef basil stir-fry, and my friend had a chicken stir-fry she couldn't eat all of hers

Favourite Thai in the west. The chilli jam stir fry is my go to and my partner loves the duck curry. Found this gem during COVID and finally dined in recently!

Really good Thai food, could be a little more organised (especially on the weekend), but the food makes it worth it.

Best and most authentic Thai Food in the Yarraville area. I see some reviews marking the restaurant down for service, but this is because it's always so busy. Having lived in Thailand, I can't find a place that replicates the local dishes as well as Yim Yam. If you're looking for quality South East Asian food, this is the place.

Highly reccomended Thai cuisine! The service is amazing and the food is just as great. The owner Leila is a great host. Been here 5 times already and will continue to support this business for as long as I can

Food is good but seriously the portions are a joke, the Red curry serving is that small, I get more in a large coffee seriously how much could some sauce cost!

Lovely food and nice servers. I especially liked the coconut rice salad dish. It was crunchy and delicious. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their meal and we'll be back. Good serving sizes made the dishes good value too. Perfect for sharing between the table. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that the service is a bit slow and we were often waiting for a while before we could get a waiter at the table/had to remind them we were waiting for glasses etc. I think this is because they are very busy with take aways. They could do with an extra staff member or a rethink of the way they juggle dine in customers and take away drivers.

Delicious Thai food with no-frills service. Lots of items on the menu were unavailable, but what we had was delicious.

Hokkien noodles, top class! The chicken in the noodles was amazing! Satay chicken skewers were very tasty too. Great service and very friendly staff. Highly recommend. Will defiantly be going again!

Great food but the blonde girl at the front has a attitude problem and guess what, we don't like to be called "Babe" by you. If you arrive early to order takeaway, they wont serve you, their priority is all the Uber drivers. Food is excellent but they need a reality check and some manners. Have found better elsewhere

Great food, but check your pick up order before you leave! Lots of wrong orders to wrong people.
