Yileena Park reviews
51Diane and Bob at Yileena Park are wonderful hosts passionate about their wines. The Merlot Rose and oak smoked blue cheese are standouts amongst a great selection of products crafted with care. An added bonus were their 2 friendly Donkeys!
A true gem. Their wines can definitely compete with the big names in the Valley. Plus the smoked cheese is just awesome.
Beautiful little winery in the Yarra Valley, founded in 1998.
The building is quite beautiful and offers nice view of the hills and valley.
Sensational. Absolutely the best. Incredible wines. The Torquay is off the charts. Smoked blue cheese (I am not a fan blue normally) is AMAZING. No tour of the Yarra Valley is complete without a visit here.
The place is wonderful and the owners of the place are lovely hosts.will definitely recommend this place to my friends and will surely visit again.
Amazing place. Not like the other wineries in the area, in that it gives you a personalised experience with unique tastings and some of the best tasting platters we've ever had. Highly recommend. Thanks Bob for squeezing us in at the last minute!
Had the privilege of getting to experience this winery today and it was lovely! You can really taste the effort that goes into these wines! Di and Bec were super informative and bubbly! Recommend the smoked chicken, Rose/Merlot blend and the smoked cheese.
This Yarra Valley winery is probably on the less traveled side of the valley but is definitely worth a visit if you want to get away from the mainstream winerys. The owners are lovely and obviously passionate about their craft. The Reds in particular were fantastic although the Pinot Blanc was also a pleasant surprise. There is a tasting fee but I think it's worth it for the hospitality and the wines.
Charming little winery in the Yarra Valley, founded in 1998. They have a good range of wines - because they tend to bottle age and their vineyards are quite small the bottles tend to be a bit dearer than the bigger wineries, but they’ve got some good drops on hand if you’re a fan of the Yarra Valley styles.
They’ve got a range of cheeses and smoked meats too - which made a nice side to the tasting. Tastings cost $7 (a bit unusual in Australia) but it’s not unreasonable.
The building is quite beautiful as well with a nice view of the hills and valley, and - there are DONKEYS, if you’re an animal fan.
Great wines and the makers are very patient and not rushing to release wines until they are ready. LOVED the complimentary smoked olives and nuts paired with the last desert wine in the wine tasting. Had some great conversation with the lovely lady owner too. Great experience overall.
Surprisingly great wines, that are loved for and released with time and care. Oh, and their smoked olives.oh and their smoked cheese.did I mention the sauces wow. Didn't get to try their cured meats, def will next time.
Absolutely lovely service. Dont forget to say hi to the 2 donkeys out front they are mother and daughter. Yileena Park Aged Topaque with blue cheese is worth any drive and try their smoked meats. You will not be disappointed.
Dianne & Bob were absolutely incredible! The smoked food was delicious and we purchased a mixed case of every wine we tasted! Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent wines and excellent service. They boast premium boutique wines and that's exactly what they do. A Cosy and friendly atnosphere, 2013 Merlot is a particular favourite.

Had an excellent wine tasting experience at Yileena. It’s only a boutique with a limited range but we liked them all. Bec provided excellent service. It was a cold day but we enjoyed our tasting sitting on the outside deck enjoying the view. We also got to feed the donkeys with the carrots provided.
Superb! Dealing with COVID elegantly. Sincere, warm, friendly old fashioned service with amazing wine and cheese. Highly recommended
Wonderfully warm and personal experience at Yileena Park today. Highly recommend this as a stop when you visit the Yarra Valley. And make sure you say hello to the sweet donkeys, Freckles and Poppy, before leaving.
This is my favourite vineyard in the valley. It's always such a beautiful experience. The wine is spectacular – but the food, service, donkeys and general ambiance make it all that much better. It's fairly small, and you can tell they really love what they do. They use their old french oak barrels to cold smoke a range of meats, cheeses and olives. Do yourself a favour and plan to spend a few hours here. Call ahead and book a table on the balcony for a leisurely afternoon of tasting and snacking.
