Jay have been an amazing help to my new process of registration for a new contract and a phone! He gave the most tailored advice and solution to my wants and needs with the new contract. Jay was also really patient and understanding throughout the whole process which made the entire experience extra pleasant and smooth. Will pop by again!

Have been waiting over six weeks for a warranty replacement on a pair of headphones.
Communication from the store has been terrible.
Was initially told two weeks in store, I called back at the end of week four and was told by the store manager it would be resolved by the end of the week. I called back two weeks later and was told the replacements would be arriving today or tomorrow. Yesterday was the tomorrow and no phone call. I cannot recommend this store. If you need to do anything in-store with Optus, try a different location.

Update: Headphones finally replaced, conveniently at the same as JB HIFI has them for half price.

Wonderful friendly service
after a shocking dismissive experience online!
Gemma? Was so amazingly helpful and determined to help me sort out a problem with a sim card which was "in transit"?
All the team here were super helpful in every way.

Went in to not only get a new phone but change my service provider. Did I have to wait to long? No. Was the staff member rude? No. But what I got was utter misinformation and so much glossing over of important info that the guy may as well have been using interpretive dance to convey the information.

E sim wouldn’t activate due to unknown error. Spoke with the online support who advised there was nothing they could do and I had to go in store. Went in store and was told there was nothing they could do. After explaining to the very rude staff member that I’d been directed into store, he was suddenly able to help. He cancelled the e sim on my request and assured me it would never be activated and I wouldn’t be charged. This morning the e sim activated and I was charged. Terrible provider with poor support and rude staff - do yourselves a favour and just go to Vodafone up the street. Took 10 minutes and I left with exactly what I needed.

Great service, friendly and honest staff. Forgot the name of the guy who served me but he was wearing all black with bright red sneakers, tall. Just really appreciated his attentiveness and help figuring out what would work best for me ️

Whenever we break a phone, lose or upgrade, we go into Optus Prahran.

This time we went in because my partner needed an upgrade. We had Jake and the team in the picture. Honestly all of them were amazing, friendly, honest and real down to earth.
Not only did they make us feel welcome, they were so helpful even in the middle of the store having lots of people waiting to be served.

They upgraded my partner to a Samsung S22 with a watch
The banter was awesome and we would hands down reccomend this store to do your business with.

Terrible attention, and treatment. We were waiting with my girlfriend to buy an iPhone for 30 min, and they didn't even bother to greet us and tell us how long we were going to have to wait.

My cell phone needs activation with a new sim card and I had some trouble with that. I went to the Prahran store and just walked in on a person whose name is Danya, she walked up to me with the warmest smile with a great attitude and sorted issues out very patiently. I really appreciated her excellent customer service skills.wishing her the very best!

I have been to this store several times and without fail each time has been quick, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and did I mention fast?
Every other phone shop should send their staff to these guys for training.
I cannot recommend them enough!

Dont go if you value your moneyyy.

This place is sooo horrible they literally charged me for something i did not even get, and i tried so many times to get it off my bill but they ket saying they will investigate but never do, this literally feels like a day light robbery.

Never going there again.

Terrible service, and quite frankly staff either didn't understand or represented the plans I'd be on and the charges I'd have. I requested another an additional number to be added to my plan - the monthly bill went from $150 pcm to over $600. Staff were rude, didn't understand the billing system and on occasions flat out lied - telling me my bill would be lower than it would be in following months. When I returned I was simply told to "call the help number" without being provided with said number.

I'd been a Optus customer for over 20 years: following the poor service and misrepresentation - because of the staff of this store - have switched providers. Avoid this store and the staff which either a) don't fully understand the products and services they are selling or b) misrepresent the products and services they are selling.

I'll be lodging a complaint with the telecommunications ombudsman following the deficient service and misrepresentation by the staff of this particular store. I'd suggest Optus regional management take a good, hard look at the performance and management of this outlet.

Avoid and use another provider if you can.

Such a poor customer experience in this shop. The short rotund woman with clumpy mascara, I guess her name is Olga whom we have visited at least 4 times on the weekly basis. She promised us to address some simple reasonable issues with Optus and rang us back, which she never did. When we went back to ask her reason why she did not ring me as she promised. She simply answer us she could not help us after talking to her manager. Such a rude and unprofessional response from you. Feels like I could not be offered the coffee when I got in to any Cafe.

I will never ever come back again.
