Very pathetic customer service by the assistant Manager James
We are with Optus since past 1.5 years. We have come to the store to take iPhone 15 pro and update the plan for another phone
Even though the other team member asked him to search how to add the device to the plan. He did not show the interest.
He straight away said it is not possible.
He said neither I cannot take a phone nor change the plan.
But the response from other stores are different.
Please do not go to this store. They will leave you with worst experience

I've never seen such a pathetic and rude customer service team sitting in a physical location. They act as though they own the customers (which is quite funny considering it is actually the customer who pays for the service!).
Have been here a number of times and I totally understand the waiting time to get a chance to discuss the purpose of a customer's visit but the attitude of the team here is really bad. Hope the management does something to fix the issues. After seeing the other reviews for this location, I understood am not alone who experienced it.

Such a worse experience with this Optus store point cook. We went to this store with our problem with data but found there is useless just wastage of time. One of their staff don’t work properly just looking at some one partner I don’t wanna disclose her name but yeah she is Indian girl.

Worst shop experience ever. Their supervisor is unprofessional and rude. I got into a new plan and got a faulty handset and when escalated it to manager she was overall not ready to help. Not sure how they are still in business!

Pathetic service by the people here. They promise blindly without even checking the availability of phones and when you start questioning, they start playing blame games and make the customer run in circles between them and customer care. Before ordering they are very polite and start acting arrogantly post sales. The overall rating of 2.8 is an apt representation of their pathetic service

I have worst experience with the store guys.i ordered a iPhone 14 pro max on nov12th before ordering they promise me the phone will arrive in 5 to 6 business days bt today 23rd November till now they did not give me even tracking number

In this period I called 4 to 5 times to customer service they did not give me useful information. They told me u will receive the phone 23rd November bt I did not receive.they told me check in the store I went to the store and asked the store guys they answered me very ridiculously.

In the store the lady "Store Manger" behavior is ridiculous.she is confusing the customers. She don't have sense how to talk with customers.

Please don't trust this optus store guys.their behavior is cheap.

I request to the manager or owner of this store to see the CCTV footage of the store from 2.55 pm to 3.10pm today and you can see the service of the staff by yourself. The worst and rudest service I have seen in Australia ever. Went there to ask for iphone 14 pro max availability and the guy didn't even bother to stand up and say sorry for the unavailability. Being sitted on the chair with arms folded he just answered with one word "no" and started laughing. Well I think I have got answer why the rating of this store is 2.8 and why people say never go for optus.

Quick service. Better device than tetra next door.

We came d ok NSW and needed temporary internet the lady (Naureen) was very helpful to find the right package and activated it right away.

There's no point in paying for insurance because even small repairs charge a minimum of $175. You're much better off saving the $19/ month insurance fee and taking the phone to a phone shop in the event that it breaks. Also repairs take a long time and they don't have replacements at this store.

Worst place to go, No queries answered over the phone for existing customers, the answer from the store when asked was of there are new customers they don’t care about the old ones.

Worst experience I have had with this store.

Very argumentative staff trying to prove they were right and customers are wrong.

Bought a plan with accessory bundle and I was sold a screen protector meant for iPhone 12 Pro but for my iPhone 13 Pro.

When I challenged it they did refund but citing the reason due to my change of mind whereas it was clearly a wrong product. Clearly a cheap profit making tactics from Optus and store staff just force it on the customers.

Apparently, they have been instructed by Optus to sell this wrong product as one size fit all stuff.

Refrain buying any accessories from them if you can.

Bad service and the sales women Norine did not know anything about the phone and plan I had to ask her everything and seems like she was not interested in her work and selling phone.

I end up cancelling my prepared offer and got a phone from Telstra instead.

Will not recommend anyone to get phone from her.

Went in asking to upgrade my current Galaxy Watch, spoke to the manager who talked me out of getting the Galaxy Watch 3 into getting the Active 2 even though I came in asking specifically for the more expensive one. I asked what the differences were, he said only the sleep and ecg monitor but failed to tell me that the battery life was half that of the Galaxy Watch 3. I called the store and he basically just called me a liar and denied that he talked me out of it and gave me the wrong information. Not happy. I worked in teleco and have managed stores before so I know what to ask ect and I know an well what I was told. The manager doesn't know left from right and won't help me at all.

Had a problem while activate a pre paid optus sim, went to this store for help, but the sales rep told me that he is not allowed to active for me if the sim was not bought from their shop, 'it is against the regulation', can anyone tell how come a telstra shop can help customer to activate a sim which was bought from woolie and not against any regulation? Is that because was bought from your shop and make not profit, then make a big lie?
