44I visited the store on Friday 3 November to get a replacement esim for my daughter who is overseas. Daniel sorted it all out very quickly and the clear instructions provided meant that the process went smoothly and successfully.

The Manager Daniel here is arrogant, rude, unhelpful and borderline racist. On arrival when i tried to explain my issue he replied to me "uummmm NOPE! ". I explained the optus customer service helpline told me to go into an Optus shop for assistance to which he started mocking them. Then when taking my details he would not believe that my Irish passport card was legitimate until I pointed out it says passport at the top to which he sneered. I ended up walking out of the shop not being able to put up with his arrogant behavior any longer. Daniels customer service skills are very poor and his attitude was atrocious. What a piece of work!
Jessie was rude and unhelpful. Walked in and he was sitting on his phone drinking a coffee. He didn’t want to assist me with purchasing a new phone and told me to go back to the store I was at yesterday (Northland S/C). I will not be going back and would give zero stars if that was an option. Unbelievable customer service Optus not impressed.
I’ve had to go to this Optus store a few times, and every time has been similarly terrible. I quite like Optus in general, but this store is the pitts.
Never bother ringing because they'll never put you on the phone with a real person. Worst store in Melbourne. They clearly don't want to work or even try to sell items.
I am so good with phones and computers.spent hours (literally!) trying to connect a new SIM. No chance! Went here and it was done in 5 minutes! Staff were amazing (don't try the online 'help'!), helpful, knew their stuff. Should have gone to them first up!
One star, and that's too generous! Rude, arrogant, unhelpful staff make this place a bad experience. I won't tar all the staff with this negative brush, for there are exceptions, but have encountered so many who are contemptuously unhelpful, speaking down to the customer with a problem and leaving him/her just as baffled as when he/she went in. They humiliate the customer in front of others, whether intentionally or not, and, if there are customers waiting, call out to assure them that they won't be long attending to them even when the hapless customer they are supposedly attending to is still speaking to them. At least one staff member talks a million words a minute so that it's impossible to understand them anyway!
Waited only a little while after triage and was dealt with efficiently and with a nice smile even though we weren't going to do business on that day.
Store manager was rude when asking questions about pricing, didn't introduce himself, was on his phone and seemed more annoyed we were bothering him from his phone.
He then palmed us off to a staff member the second they were finished with a sale, so we had to wait a few (probably closer to 5) awkward minutes sitting there while the staff member ignored us due to doing data entry.
I ended up looking at my phone for pricing, went across the road to Officeworks instead.
Optus seemed genuinely disinterested in discussing outright options or even prepaid, and were only interested in upselling when discussing plan options.
Terrible service, especially from the manager, I won't be back. This had been my go to store for phones for over a decade.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
I was busy at work. Throughly occupied with bussiness. The bussiness requires 24/7 online availibilty.
Sent my colleague as was running out of data to change my plan. The girl ported my number and said sim needs to be replaced. It will change in 24hrs, promising I will have internet access on the current sim.
As soon as she ported the number i lost the signals. Was at a different location had no access to anything was even unable to call my colleague and describe what happend.
Took my friends phone called her, she went back to the franchise asked for help.
The girl was still trying to cooperate and then the manager jumped in "the most rude guy ever" as described by my colleague, started yelling at her accepting any mistake made by them.
In a nutshell "I WAS OUT OF SERVICE FOR THREE HOURS", still using mobile data of someone. The earliest i can get my connection reinstated is tommorow.
Had to make calls to my lawyer and other routine bussiness calls. I can loose money due to "THIS WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE" i am thinking to switch to some other network.
NEVER EVER GO TO THIS FRANCHISE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET HUMILATED.
This is the customer service that Optus was once known for. Prompt service and very helpful staff. None of the call centre rubbish that they are known for. Worth visiting for the next phone or contract renewal.
The service was amazing so helpful and knowledgeable. I walked out with the best solution all setup perfectly. They showed genuine care. YES they are the best

Unless you are there to spend money on a new product expect rude and arrogant staff. I had an Optus outage at home and was upsold a new modem which then didn't work. One week of no internet connection and I sought a refund on the modem. Tom was concierge on that Saturday and his intro was " I am running the show here today". Obviously he could sense my frustration from the previous week and had the lack of customer focus and insight to say "What's the problem with your attitude today" What! NPS = 0. Vodafone next door are extremely helpful.

Absolutely disgusting behavior. I have never felt more humiliated in a store before. One guy was so rude to me that he continued to go to the back room and came out laughing just to make me feel more uncomfortable when all i wanted was a refund on a product that clearly didn't work. What is wrong with you people? Then you send me back home to re-try the product that again clearly didn't work, and now im out of pocket by $99. Great way to not give a refund guys! GREAT WORK!
