Should have put my review in earlier. Extremely rude sales person, won’t give full name but starts with AZ. As we purchased the phone thru Optus customer service (over the phone) I was told that he would not help as we did not make the purchase in his store and as I purchased rubbish (actually rubbish is not the work he used, too rude to put in the review) to go back to where I purchased my two phones which was Optus. He then told myself and my husband to ‘get out of the store and never to step foot in it again’
GREAT-CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT
One of the staff there, won't mention names as he may have been having a bad day, was frankly a rude sod. Unhelpful and interested in helping. Luckily his manager saved the day
I was looking for a new iPhone with a mobile phone plan and trade my old phone but the Two sales person and a manager where forcing us to get an internet home plan giving us false information about the phone plans, they were saying that we can not get a phone pay in 12 months if we do not get the home plan otherwise they can not sell the plan. They were whispering all the time in-front of us, very un respectful and uncomfortable sales. I finally bought my phone as I want it with Telstra.
This store is pathetic for service.
I am person with highest level of patience. However, the staff made me lose it all.
When I ordered phone and some gadgets it was bells and whistle and i ordered store pick up.received updates the product is on your way to store.called store to check if its available to pick.
Staff had no interest to check and suggested to call customer care as they cant get access my order under my account and the irony is when i walked into the store they are able to access.
Just one of those lazy people who take their jobs for granted never buying anything from this store and might consider exiting from optus.
Optus should have on top of everything after the cyber attack and this sort of service is just a shame.
Really poor service, went there this, afternoon too pay my optus phone bill.waited 15 mins too get served.left in disgust paid at post office e straight away.
Ringing multiple times only for no one to answer the phone. A phone company has no one answering the phone.
After 5 minutes on hold immediately diverted to main service which is what I was trying to avoid. Particularly when they said I need to deal with a store.
Avoid this store if you can. Although this store was convenient and I have been a long time customer of Optus in general, this store is riddled with incompetence. Some staff have very limited knowledge on what they are talking about and the manager on duty at the tim of my last visit was just as bad. From simply getting a phone they completely changed a current plan and changed the main account holder details, both of which was not asked for. I’ve spent more time on the phones to Optus call centre to get assistance. The call centre staff have been great though.
I never seem to get assistance when I go in-store instead I'm given a bloody phone number to call. Remove the Optus sign and put up a sign Phone shop ONLY! This is all it is!
Rude and extremely bad customer service. Took advantage of a senior man and sold him an unnecessary portable modem, then refused to refund it 2 business days later, even though he was told to return by another store for a full refund. The manager refused to speak to family over the phone regarding the matter.
I have been to this store many times and have never had a bad experience.
Today we had an urgent matter that needed fixing and after getting no help from telstra I cancelled the account and went straight to the team at Waverley Gardens Optus. Omar, Tanisha and Alroy were fantastic and resolved the issue immediately. I will never use Telstra ever again
Really bad customer service experience. They asked me to pay over $120 for a gold number and wasted my time but never let me have options to choose the number unlike other stores.
They don't even deserve one star. A week ago, I went here to get a gold number but after wasting my time creating new account and bunch of other stuff, they showed me couple of no good phone numbers and said I have to chose of this list while other stores gave me a lot of great options.
They organised the return of my faulty s20 ultra. Hopefully all goes well and I get my replacement soon. But the staff were helpful and polite. I would highly recommend the store based on the staff alone. I have another post paid and prepaid phone to upgrade and an NBN service to switch over and I would probably only deal with this store.
What a joke, girl was on her phone texting whilst I was out front I had to knock on the door then she wouldn’t even activate my SIM card and my problem still has not been resolved won’t be going back there soon for service

In these terrible times of the pandemic, we spoke to a wonderful person today on the phone by the name of Hiba who was able to help us so much with the problem that we have had with our phones/account. We cannot thank her enough. She solved our problem in the most efficient way, explaining all the time what she was doing and why. We thoroughly recommend this store. Initially when we called we pressed the [wrong] button for "Technical" and ended up at a call centre in the Philippines. Whilst they were helpful, they could not sort out our problem. Fortunately we eventually were able to get through to the store. The rest is history.

Employee Hiba refused to offer professional customer care.
Spoke with manage who stated they are under staffed and do not answer phone calls ever.
I find this ridiculous as they are meant to be tech savy. How about getting headphones where they can answer calls. Not answering phones for customers results in bad sales, bad customer service. End up walking into Telstra and getting the professional helps customers deserve.
Refused to help as just wanted to get to the many waiting customers.
Minimum of 40 minute wait.

Don’t go here! Go to a more customer friendly store. Go to Telstra or another store.
My experience calling the customer service number was a far more easier and all of my needs were meet with enthusiasm, I really should have avoided going instore
Been in here two times. First time was to get a bit of advice on a phone upgrade (had the phone for 4 years!). I'm afraid I can't remember his name but he spent ages with me to get a suitable deal. He recommended a fantastic phone a hooked my wife up with a better deal than we were getting from a rival. I also got a free Samsung watch! I went in here for a second time today and intended to get a new phone plan for my wife. Spoke to a different guy this morning, but he basically said the best deal would be to stay on the current plan and buy a phone outright from another place like jb hi fi or the like. Couldn't believe it.didn't try to sell me a thing. I will be going to these guys for all my mobile stuff in the future! Thanks!
Every time I've approached these young men and women in this store over last few years they have assisted in every way I've asked of them. They are professional, patient and kind. Thank you!
