Yeosin used to have an amazing Nikomi Don for lunch, but it seems they might have held back on the ingredients, or had a change of chef, because the Nikomi Don now tastes quite bland. See below for a comparison of the new v old Nikomi Don.

I have also tried the Unagi Oyako Donburi recently- the rice was a bit too dry, and the grilled eel unfortunately wasn’t very fresh…

The service and ambience of the place remains very nice though. I hope the food returns back to how good it was, and I will aim to try the Nikomi Don once more in the future. Hope I have the chance to revise my review then

I recently dined at an outstanding fusion Korean/Japanese restaurant that surprised me with its fresh sushi/sashimi offerings and exquisite presentation.

The restaurant itself was tastefully decorated, blending modern aesthetics with traditional Korean elements, creating an inviting and elegant atmosphere. The bbq dishes are wonderful.
However, what truly captivated me was the sushi.

The sushi/sashimi menu offered a delightful fusion of Korean and Japanese flavors, with an emphasis on freshness and visual appeal. Each piece of sushi was a work of art, meticulously crafted with vibrant and carefully chosen ingredients. The seafood tasted exceptionally fresh, and the rice had the perfect balance of seasoning.

The presentation of the sushi dish was nothing short of stunning, with artistic plating that made every course a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. It was evident that the chefs took great pride in their craft.

This is place where you can savor the best of Korean and Japanese cuisine in an elegant setting. If you're looking for a culinary adventure that delights both your taste buds and your sense of aesthetics, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Service was friendly and helpful especially as we are not really familiar with Korean cuisine. We enjoyed the dishes however the octopus was unacceptably chewy also some of the meat presented for the cook at the table BBQ was a bit tough.

Delicious Korean dishes, and pick a table overlooking the city on sunset. We had the fried chicken and the sushi platter which was enough for 2.

Me and my family was a very loyal customer even we’ve celebrated my family & my sons’ birthday parties in this restaurant. But since they’ve change the owner, everything ruin, the Wagyu is so very low quality, the kimchi is poor, they gave us 1/2 portion of rice which is roughly only 3 table spoon of rice from each bowls, they reduce every single of menus. The taste & quality are totally change. My youngest son said, the taste now is much better buying food from his School’s canteen than in Yeosin Korean Restaurant. Very sad and disappointing, wasting lot of money with poor service and low quality foods. We miss the old owner and management.

The food was great and authentic, Korea and the service was excellent.
It was a bit expensive.

Our family is a big fan with this restaurant as they always serve with fresh wagyu beef for the BBQ and staff are very friendly, especially to my younger kids. Definitely recommend!

Disappointing food but friendly service and good atmosphere. I got fried chicken, Wagyu sirloin, beef belgogi, tokoyaki. The worst waguy doteyaki we’ve ever had. We asked to change it and they declined. Also the bbq waguy looked good but tasted very disappointing, gamey and chewy.
Overall disappointing, there is far better Korean bbq near by or in CBD. This one never again

We have been here five times and this time it was a let down. The unagi fried rice is the most ripped of meal we have ever had. The tinest piece of eel on a huge bowl of rice. The gyu donburi had many pieces of fatty wagyu on it. There was not much meat left after we cut the fat off. We have had way better wagyu elsewhere at the same price. Not coming back.

Went just after they opened for the day before it got busy. Food was great and the service was on point.

Sorest experience ever, vegetables served with dirt on it and claims it is sauce. Don’t ever work in a kitchen if you are that blind

Overly priced compared with other bbq k, maybe it’s the location of the restaurant. Has to keep reminding staff to change the bbq plate, despite staff members walked by few times.

I got the pork set and they were very reasonably priced for the portions provided. Flavours were there too. I’ve also tried their sukiyaki before and I remember leaving pleasantly surprised with the quality of meat and broth! I will definitely be back again!

The food was fine, but very poor service. One of their females staffs was very rude, you get paid as you provide services. If you are reluctant to work, then don’t do it. Your behavior is not only irresponsible, but also has a huge impact on customers' dining experience. If you don’t know how to provide a good service or talk to others in polite language, then you may need some trainings or see a psychologist for that.

When you pretend to be able to cook Korean Bibimbap, but you're not, this what you got: burned rice instead of crispy golden. Avoid this

Love korean bbq! We had our Pre-Christmas family dinner at here and got to try their limited time Christmas menu. Their new Christmas set menus each come with entrees, assorted meat for BBQ, stew and drinks! Options are available for 2,4 and 6 people!
We ordered the Christmas BBQ Set A Menu for 2 people. We loved all the different cuts of meat and highly recommend for your next local feed.
We were also served by their cute little robot.

@yeosin_bbq combines the best of KBBQ w Japanese BBQ.

Serving up delicious premium wagyu beef w kimchi pancakes & miso soup.

The veggie selection was great, too. There was a generous amount of side dishes, which are always a treat.

With a good selection of Japanese beer, including Orion and yummy Korean Soju, combined with amazing city skyline views this place is great.

Great Korean BBQ joint in Doncaster. Easy to order and cook at the table. I always enjoy my experience here and would recommend to others. But I could do without the robot waiter - it's a tad ridiculous.

The service is getting better and better now. We had a chance to dinne there when they first open. At that time, no side dish served unless order certain dishes. And for BBQ was a mess when they chage the Grill plate, was food ad other chacol stains on it.
Recently we pay a few visit and things were much better. The ingredients were always fresh and high quality, but also the taste. Enjoy really much and will definately go back for awhile~!

A very spacious Korean bbq restaurant with a good selection of dishes to choose from as well. We ordered the beef bbq set for 4 of us and then added 2 more bowls of rice, one additional plate of vegetables and a beef tendon udon dish. The beef was very tasty. It went very well with especially the chili imbued seasoning that came with the meal. Not quite sure how one roasts the other bits of vegetables on the hot plate - I think those vegetables are better in a hot pot than bbq. We had an enjoyable time cooking up the food. Robot waiters seem to be standard additions to such eateries these days. The beef udon dish was quite delicious too. It's a popular place for families and groups.
