YASSAS - THE GREEK WAY (Eastland)

Think they shredded stale Coles grilled chicken for the chicken souv. It was flaky, tasted awful and had no flavour whatsoever. Had to toss the entire thing after a couple of bites to not risk my stomach going awry.

Loved it, quality food, gluten free options throughout the whole menu, and lovely staff, 100% my go to now when heading to Eastland!

Not sure how to describe the atmosphere, could only feel hatred coming from the staff, beyond rude and beyond a joke! Way better places about.

Uber eats. Took 2 hours. The pita was completely wet like it had been dunked in water. Had no option to give a bad rating on Uber.

Service was quite slow and table service wasn't provided due to a "shortage of staff". Product was okay.

Placed a takeaway order and sat around outside for 30 minutes after placing order as they had told us to wait for them to bring our order to us. Finally went in to check on things and turns out the order was sitting inside for a good 20 minutes (not that they told us, had to check the docket/receipt). Food was well and truly cold. Would recommend keeping tabs on the staff if you like eating your food hot.

Super friendly staff and the food was amazing. They were closing soon but still showed incredible hospitality to us, would love to come again!

Yassas the not so greek way. Traditionally in greece souvlakia are served beyond 3pm into the early hours of the morning. No souvlakia at the joint after 3pm

Well i’m not someone to write reviews but i just had to.went with my sister service was not 100% $40 each for gyro and chips.the chips were cold in legitimate 5 mins.gyro was a rip off so much for a “open souvlaki” the feta tasted like baby vomit the greek salad had absolutely no dressing whatsoever.definitely wish i read the reviews before i came.staff looked miserable went back to see what i forgot it was my money what a waste.

The food itself was very nice but the quantity you get for the price you pay is very underwhelming unfortunately.

Tasty and great food. Nice place to have a casual lunch or dinner. It is a bit pricy for the food that is served here.

We’ve eaten here two weekends in a row! We love it! The chicken dine-in gyro is delicious and our favourite.

Worst experience with staff including owner I think they need to learn some politeness

Now instead of focusing on improving your service and behaviour you are trying to blame and scare others.so they can't put geninue reviews out of their experience and what about the defame you have done by rating us. You gave me the food forcefully I was refusing to take. And I came first time to pick up I never came before so don't lie atleast about continual.mistake

Amazing food, amazing service and a fantastic team for our dinner date tonight! Reminded us of our trip to Greece in 2019! Can’t wait to be back

Only 1 x toilet. Grossly inadequate for the numbers of patrons. $550 odd for 10 of us including 2 x kids and all drinks. Lots of food. Dips. Meat platters. Etc. Great food and drinks. Good attentive waiters. Overall good. But not outstanding. Worth trying.

We went here and the food was AMAZING! The service was great, we even got free donuts which were delicious! Would definitely recommend and would come back in the future!

I’ve been to the one in Southbank which has great service. I just walked out out of this one and won’t come back.

Came in. No one acknowledged me even though the girl on the floor and the girl behind the bar saw me. Had to call the girl from the floor asking if I could get some take away service and she advised I can but she can’t put the order through cos she’s new so said the girl behind the bar can. Well the girl behind the bar smiled at me on her way back and continued to make drinks. Again, still no acknowledgement. I ended up walking out. I understand if you’re new but it’s not hard to let someone know you see them and that someone will tend to them.

We have had several lovely sit down meals at Yassas, great service and beautiful stylish outside dining setting during the summer months as blow ins from Eastlands shopping or just walkin on the spur of the moment.
We raved about it to friends so much that.....
We decided to make a booking based on our excellent experiences for a larger group, so we called up to book, the phone promptly answered politely, efficient exchange of data, but then they wanted as well as our name, phone number and email address a credit card number.
Sorry guys, for us that is one piece of information too much, we will continue to be walk in customers and continue to enjoy the excellent package with our credit cards not included with our name, phone number and email address.
