Wine tasting at Yarrawood was a nice experience the gentleman that was on yesterday and also has a great sense of humor.

We had a fantastic wine tasting and lunch here. Food, wine and service were great. We loved the lamb sliders, salmon tacos and arancini.

My favourite spot for brunch. Friendly staff, good food at reasonable price and beautiful scenary.

Friendly staff and a beautiful, picturesque estate. Food also is delicious, and cheap despite the high quality ingredients, the cheese platter is a must-try and makes for a beautiful picture.

Disappointing experience, although I have been to this winery several times previously, I wont be back. Arrived for a tasting, but told they were busy and come back after 12-00.had lunch and went back. Was greeted with "have you made a booking". As we hadn't we were unable to have a tasting. Explained that we had been there earlier and advised to come back.no mention of the need to book. Entrance at the main road clearly indicates open for tastings. Went to another nearby winery, spent over $500. Yarrawood's loss.

Beautiful view, beautiful wine, beautiful staff/ service and beautiful grazing platters. Everything was perfect and staff were so so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back again, thank youu!

We visited as part of a private wine tour. The lady conducting the wine tasting was fabulous and we really enjoyed the experience. We ordered nearly $300 worth of wine and another staff member still charged us $32 for tasting fees. Pretty disappointing when other wineries we visited on the day waived the tasting fee when we bought just one bottle.

We initially went here hoping to do some wine tasting as we were with a guest who had recently arrived in Australia. The initial greeting made by a male staff was quite arrogant in the tone of voice even though he asked “can I help u” upon not knowing for a moment how to respond to his arrogant tone of voice he continued saying “hello hello” as if we were from another planet. Anyway we asked if wine tasting was available we were told it’s not. Then we decided to have lunch and asked if we could sit inside as it was a cold day. We were told that all the tables were fully booked and asked to sit outside. Some other tables had heaters but we were given a table with no heater. We were served by two lovely ladies although had no idea what the soup of the day was but was nice enough find out from the chef and let us know. The food and wine that we ordered was good. I would have given 5 stars if not for the arrogant attitude of the male person who initially made us feel worthless although at the last moment came to our table to check on how everything was. Even when we were about to go after having lunch we noticed that the tables inside were still vacant and it’s just that they didn’t want us to sit inside. I would recommend the food but definitely not the customer service we received.

Amazing views and well located place. The service wasn't up to the mark. No one came up to the standing area to help us get seated even though the staff saw us three to four times. The server just casually slid the plate on our table, causing the bun to just tumble turn, and instead of fixing it, she just says oops and walks away. I've attached the photo on how it was served to us.
The food in general was decent, with lamb sliders being the best.

Such an awesome winery with a cottage style restaurant up on the hill.
They have nice vineyard views, goats and some funny geese mowing the lawn and eating the grass?
Tried the beef tacos with chipotle sauce and a glass of their some velvety Pinot Noir. So good?
For desert I ordered their light fluffy cheesecake which is served with cream and strawberry sauce

Cellar door tasting
They have four sweet whites on tasting which are delicious!
Autumn harvest Riesling, botrytis Riesling, late harvest Riesling and late harvest Verdelho. All four have entirely different fruit flavours and aromas.

The Cabernet Sauvignon is my kind of Cabernet because it’s light and easy and good fresh fruit flavours. But the Shiraz was a bit heavy for me in comparison.
Pinot Noir here is great too. Very velvety
The Chardonnay was nice but out of the Chardonnay and Riesling I preferred the Riesling, it’s very impressive.

The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time, the man in charge of tastings is rude and arrogant, left with a sour taste. Don’t bother coming here, much greater places in the area!

Always come here through the warmer seasons. Always so nice to sit out under the shade on the grass looking out over the vines. Really serene vibes. We usually order a coffee and the scones and a cheese cake and then a glass of wine to finish. Love this place. Love that it’s casual, dog friendly, some live music from time to time, and always lovely service.

We had a lovely time at Yarrawood Estate today. Special thanks to Charlie (hope I didn’t spell the name incorrectly). I brought my mum and dad to have their first experience with wine testing. Charlie was really patient and guided us through the wine testing. Mum and dad enjoyed their wine testing very much, and got two bottles of wines.after that, When we couldn’t get indoor table for 3 of us. Charlie did more than we expected and provided the indoor space at bar area to allow my parents resting and having some coffee. My parents are over 66 years old and it’s their first time in winery, they can’t speak English and sitting outdoors when it’s windy just impossible. We are very appreciate Charlie‘a gesture and customer service. ️ wish you all well and happy new year

First, I own a shop in Melbourne CBD and I know how important customer service is when you want to make a successful business. However, I am very disappointed with what I have experienced with this restaurant.

As I mentioned before, I own a business and was looking forwards to my Christmas holiday after spending a very busy session.

Then this happened. I ordered one glass of wine while I was waiting for the food. When I finally got my food, I discovered that the wine glass that I received had a lipstick mark on it. So politely asked the waiter to change the wine glass for me.

However, weirdly he started mocking me by saying “how much alcohol can you handle? If you want another glass of wine, you can put your lipstick on and ask me again for another free drinks” I got so upset and complained to him. Then all of the sudden the waitress claimed that he was just joking.

When I first arrived at the restaurant, everything seemed stunning. So my sister and I thought that we’ve chosen the right restaurant to celebrate our holidays. But because of this rude service, it ruined everything about this restaurant.

I really hope this restaurant could provide better service in the future so this inconvenience won’t happen to others.

View is amazing, we got the wine tasting slot lucky at the last minute. Guy who served the wine was talking little bit odd, even the guest sitting next to us observed.

In my view, food, wine was good but not the staff, would recommend to go some other wine places.

We have hosted our work Christmas Party at Yarrawood Estate for 4 years now. Each time we have a wonderful relaxed day. The food is delicious and the team there are very accomodating and make sure everything is perfect. We love watching our kids run around on the grass, or play cricket while we all enjoy the food and wine.

Very impressed with both the food & wine. The staff were excellent. Highly recommended.

Sunday lunch today my daughters 21 st birthday it was amazing! Sean looked after us he was outstanding as all the staff were! Food sensational cannot thank you enough

Picked up a half dozen tall tales 2019 at $30 a bottle that retails for $19. Tastes like the bushfires of 2019.
