Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery reviews
78Beautiful setting. Fabulous chocolate. Amazing varieties. Ice cream to die for. Chocolate tasting is generous. Cakes and food is excellent. Eating area too small.
Who wants this perfect hot chocolate with white and milk melting chocolate shots? And, a piece of macadamia cake with fresh cream and drizzling milk chocolate shot on top. What do you want more?
Chocolate, sunshine, ice cream, fresh air, family, chocolate, sensational Views, wonderful food.
What more do you need.
This place is always extremely busy, parking can be difficult and finding a seat can be tricky, but perseverance it's worth the wait.
Standard tourist stop. Good simple food, friendly staff, beautiful outlook. Chocolate was pretty good. They have a set up showing into the 'factory' were they make the chocolate, would have liked to be able to see more of the process. Overall, a solid stop on the drive out of melbourne.
A desserts and chocolate lovers paradise, they have wonderful chocolate samples to try and a large selection of chocolates in all shapes and forms to buy. On the way out try the super large ice cream (recommend going there on an empty stomach since there is so much to eat and try)
Wow desserts and the baguettes are lovely especially the chocolate sauce that comes as a side yummo! Beautiful view from the verandah. Insight into chocolate making with small tasters again yummo!
Great place! Loved the dark chocolate flavors here. Plenty of photo opportunities to collect. Great for kids too with the small play area and flat surfaces for running. Recommend to wear pants for such play activities.
Lots of chocolates to select from. I highly recommend chocolate tasting available only for A$3 per person. There is a variety of chocolates with very unique flavors. If you are unsure if you will like those, free samples are available upon request. The staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.
Everything covered in chocolate! But don't order the fondue close to their closure, or you'll get whatever leftover they have in the kitchen and charge you the same: (
Been here a few times, not sure what the big fuss is. We now just come and get an ice cream so long as the car park is not busy. Does have a big grass area for kids to run around on if that is an attracton to you.
This is a great place to grab lunch if you have kids with you. The menu is very family friendly, and they have a colouring-in station with jars of pencils. Of course the chocolate is for everyone, and the ice cream at the entrance will tempt anyone.
A lovely position, slightly elevated, with gardens, fruit trees and green expanse. Huge selection of a variety of chocolate delicacies. Great meals & ice cream in cones
Amazing location with great views, and I have been so impressed with the quality of their chocolate! I thought it would be a bit of a tourist trap, but I've actually bought heaps of their products for friends and family, it much better quality than almost any other chocolate that's is readily available in Australia!
Very busy place, super popular with international travelers. The chocolate is lovely and the food is fairly good also, wait times can be a little long.
Great location, great set up and on top of all it's chocolate. What more can you ask for on a beautiful day. Can't go wrong with this one. Must visit!
Heavenly desserts and pure bliss ice-cream amidst a beautiful outdoor setting. The food at the cafe really sucks and is nothing to rave about that’s why I’m giving it four stars. If you’re there try the macaroons especially the salted caramel ones!
Love the beautiful scenery, very greeny. Really love the ice cream there and it's generous portion. Free chocolate tasting. Dessert & drink options are good, but the food need more variants. No gluten free options at all, so be ready to bring your own food for the one alergic or intolerance to gluten. They don't sell fry food like the easiest french fries. All in all it's a great & beautiful place to relax with friends and family
