Yarra Bend Park reviews
53 Probably my favourite place to walk my dog on lead. Central, by the city, water and nature.
The bats are amazing, so many in one spot.
You can walk for hours and look at the millions of bats in the trees. Totally amazing place.
The views are to the golf course the other side.
Beautiful spot lots of good manageable walks for the whole family, walking over the bridge at dusk is lovely too! I often go there to moon gaze as there are some great spots near the motorway overpass
Lunch at the Boat House on banks of Yarra River idyllic. Further along, thousands of fruit bats in trees along river.
Great spot for dogs and walks. Getting into nature so close to the city. You wouldn't believe it. Puppy loves it.
Lovely park, plenty of space with a very pleasant walking track. Who knew you'd find such a place so close to the city! There's also cute little cafes and bakeries, one of which had delicious desserts (I forget the name because I was too keen on the food) but you'll find it. Just keep walking!
There's also a mini farm here, you'll see horses and a bee farm along with amazing trees greenery. Quite the day out
Outside free bbq's, picnic area and a huge colony of flying foxes or sometimes called fruit bats
Great place for a walk especially on summers night. Only 4 star because it needs a cafe at night would of been perfect.
Great walking track overlooking Merri Creek, with a view of the city from some parts of the track. Many park benches to enjoy the late afternoon sun. The track is for bikes and pedestrians. I think it's a lead free zone for dogs, though that may not be on the track itself.
Good for a walk, a barbie, a picnic. You can rent boats or have a coffee. The kids can play. Very family friendly. All you need for a relaxing afternoon. Can be quite crowded tough.
Magnificent parks & gardens only minutes from the centre of Melbourne, with Yarra Bend golf course winding it's way around the Yarra River. Excellent golf practice facilities with a driving range, short game area & putting greens.
Challenging course on the West mini golf side, loved it, great coffee afterwards from Pro Shop, then hit a bucket of 100 balls each with my son on the driving range. Great fun. Driving range was very busy for a Sunday morning
It used to be a family friendly mini golf experience.but due to greed of management its now a rip off at $16 per child. What a joke nearly %200 price increase
Very close to the city and one of most beautiful places where i visited. And there is a small cafe with animal farms which is nice to have a cup of coffee and take a rest.
