YANG 89 Lamb Charcoal BBQ Restaurant reviews
56Extremely fast and friendly services. Perfect KBBQ in my opinion! The food was expected with a bonus of many more side dishes that set them apart from other kbbq restaurants. 5 stars. Definitely will come back many more times. Happy customers indeed!
Worth your money! Great selection and love the overall experience. Was super full from our meal that I didn’t get to try all dishes. Will be coming back to try the rest! Staff was also friendly and looked after us.
Pretty good place, other then getting rushed out of the restaurant after an hour and a half. Nobody told us of the time limit when I booked the table or when we arrived. So that was a pretty big oversight on the management's behalf and a bad way to end our visit
Clean and many kind of meat to choose from. Also you can do hotpot or BBQ, or maybe both. Which is fun
Wonderful food and exceptional service! Make sure to book in advance as they tend to be fully booked very frequently.
The food is excellent! They have a large variety of different things you can try from their high quality meats, sides and noodle bar! Totally worth the price for all you can eat:) on top of that the staff are lovely!
We had the pleasure of having dinner at SSAM. The owner is amazing he gave us a tray of premium beef from the kitchen plus allowing us to blow out birthday cake at the restaurant even though they don't have to.
The food is amazing the seafood is fresh, salmon was incredible even all the sides noodle dishes are awesome. We drive far everytime we go but its worth the trip everytime. Thanks for making us feel welcome and its nice that the owner remembers who you are. Highly recommended
In love with this place. The versatility is incredible: hotpot, sashimi, bbq etc you name it! Besides, the onion sauce is chef kiss amazing gut chop highly recommend
Friendly staff
Fresh food
Clean and tidy environment
Definitely one of the best Kbbq in town
Good price with a good variety of meat and hot food. There are a lot of side dishes as well. Good place for friends gathering.
SSAM Korean BBQ could be the best value for all-you-can-eat at only $39.90. It is open till 12AM on Thursday which was great for us finishing work late at night.
With a magnitude of food choices for BBQ, including wagyu beef cuts, galbi ribs, thin and thick pork cuts, prawns, calamari, and their marinated chicken thighs, you won’t run of out food for your grill. They also provide different sauce options such as ssamjang, sesame oil, and their beautifully balanced onion sauce. This really gave the meat a nice umami flavour.
Alongside the meat options, they have an assortment of side dishes that are also all-you-can-eat. Our favourite was the tuna and salmon sashimi which was fresh and tasty! The manager came over and recommended that we try it with their chogochujang sauce as that was a popular way to eat sashimi in Korea. It was sweet, spicy, and tangy. The thing that excited us the most was the raw blue crab marinated in spicy sauce (yangnyeom gejang). We would come back for this dish alone! Also, the Japanese style soba noodles with seaweed in a pleasant bonito broth.
Can you believe that this isn’t all they have to offer? They have hot foods and noodles which differ on the day depending on the chef special of the day. On the day we went, they had fried chicken, cold kimchi noodles, japchae, soybean soup, and kimchi jjigae. The variety of food is so good here and we couldn’t help but try a bit of everything. We finished off with some ice-cream from the freezer. We had the Jaws bar and the watermelon popsicle which weren’t too sweet.
It is a self-service Korean BBQ, but the manager came over and gave us his personal recommendations and tips on what to pair with the food which we appreciated. Staff were lovely and quick to change over the gas bottle of our stove.
We literally ate all the food so quickly that we didn’t take any good pictures, but we will definitely be returning to do so!
Went there with my friends today and so far in my opinion, it’s the best bbq buffet in the city with the high quality!
Various cuts and variety of meat, seafood and veges and other dishes, icecream too.
It's really great but the buffet set up /customers make it quite choatic. Went on a Sunday 530 sitting and it was fully booked surprisingly.
The buffet is only downstairs which is harder if you are seated upstairs like we were. I'm not sure if it was because we were in the first sitting so everyone was starting at the same time.as typical of buffet people are just ridiculous at piling plates high and having several people from the one table doing that. The cabinets of all the bbq items can only have a few ppl getting things because of the doors so if you imagine an entire restaurant of upstairs and downstairs trying to all get food at the same time was crazy.
We did not get any of the soups even though wanted to as they wouldn't allow us to use a tray to carry upstairs.
There were things like fried chicken, Icecream, fruit which we didn't know about because we were seated upstairs. So you don't know when the cabinets are refilled or when there are other items sadly.
It is good place to eat but they need to provide buffet upstair, or stagger the timings for the floors so everyone is not going at the same time, or maybe make protions of plates ready to take from the cabinet so customers can be less greedy about how much and how long they are taking.
Nice Korean buffet! Also includes seafood like crabs, prawns, tuna and salmons. The raw crab is very delicious:) must try! Staffs are very friendly, especially Skye.
What a Korean BBQ venue! Love the vibes, the music, the service, the food, all 5 stars. Great variety of food and you get bang for your buck
Probably one of the best Korean BBQ of the city if not the best. The meat and seafood were very fresh and the service was excellent. I totally recommend you, the overall experience is great. I will be back for sure!
A great all you can eat experience. Ate as much wagyu as I could in the hour and a half. Wagyu was good but not top shelf wagyu. Was still delicious. The fried chicken was also great!
The meat quality was really good and there was different kinds side dishes that were very tasty! Staff was very friendly too. Would definitely recommend:)
Authentic Korean BBQ. I think they change some management watching the previous reviews, but the experience now was to me definitely great and recommended. It comes as a buffet with many selection including some sashimi and fruits, classic korean fry chicken and of course a lot of different meat selection and also seafood and vegetables and also some noodles bowl! Prices are fair enough considering everything overall. The waiter upstairs explained very good to us and helped us if we needed something, but also didn't bother us if we wanted to cook by ourselves and to me this is a very very good point in a Korean BBQ. Environment is also nice inside, nice atmosphere.
Great for groups! Charcoal grill with self rotating skewers is pretty cool. Easy to make a booking online too.
