76What a beautiful place to visit amazing atmosphere and friendly staff gorgeous coffee and delicious food
3 Stars for the coffee. I would give less but I have not eaten the food. The Large Almond Milk Flat white I got was $6.7 and does not taste good. It does not have a strong coffee flavour and a weird sweetness to the milk and bitterness to the coffee. The mill also separated, I believe this is normal but didn't really help my perspective of the coffee. This is the second time I've gone there for a coffee, I thought I would give it a chance but not super impressed.
Coffee and toastie were delicious!
Also great customer service. They were cheerful and always attentive.
It's not spacious, but very comfortable!
Everything a cafe should be. Poke bowl is 10/10, possibly my favourite lunch in Melbourne.
Anyone who rates Wynyard less than 5 stars was most likely dropped on their head as a child.
Well what can i say, my wife and I love our food and most important we love value for money.
Wynyard cafe. Hits and exceeds the mark every time. The staff are very friendly, are only to happy to fullfill your every need to the best of their ability.
If you looking for a good night out with friends and family.
Wynyard cafe, is the place to be.
Have had good coffee and breakfast here previously but today was pretty bad-luke warm coffee, bland food and uninterested waitstaff, won’t bother coming here again.
Left after brekkie and immediately went down the road to a South Melb fave and had the opposite experience-amazing coffee with great ambience and fantastic service, thank goodness there are lots of choices here in Melb. If you don’t lift your game you’ll be left behind.
Beautiful looking place with gorgeous dishes, but coffee was not only warm, food bland and music way too loud. Strange as on the outside the venue promises a lot however today didn't deliver.
A lovely little cafe with friendly staff and great food. The Poke Bowl was wonderful and gluten free. They are also happy to make changes to the food to suit your dietary requirements. All the food (on other tables) looked very good.
Great food, great coffee, great service. Über Melbourne cafe experience- down a lane, crates to sit on out front. Very cool.
Coffee is great, probably best in the area. The “Bacon Yumbo” Bacon cheesy scramble egg burger is yummy yet a bit oily
Service is terrible. Took forever to get noticed by three waitresses who were gossiping as the cleared the ONE table together.
Ordered the toast with spreadS for $7.90. Received two pieces of sourdough with a small dish of butter. That’s it.
When I asked the waitress about the “spreadS” she looked at me puzzled and said “well what would you like? ” And then “the spreads are on that table over there” (pointing to a board of jam jars on a patrons table). I said “some kind of berry jam? ” She then brings over one jar of jam with a spoon. Not the whole board, one jar. So my “spreads” were butter, and a reluctant jar of jam.
Our neighbourhood favourite place for breakfast. Everything on the menu is great. Simple food done really, really well.
Usually very good, and I mean best in South Melbourne, but my last 2 experiences have been terrible. My most recent experience; the dish was stone cold, as in straight out of the fridge cold. The avocado, as well as being stone cold, was rock hard (raw). Coffee also wasn't up to usual standard.
Great staff and stylish minimalist design. Foods pretty good and coffee ok but nothing to write home about.
The decor and design store next door is great for modern-asian interior wares.
The staff are really nice and friendly people. I enjoy their coffee and really enjoy the banana bread. Had a breakfast sandwich there once and it was really tasty as well.
