Wyndham Hotel Melbourne

Rooms are OK and location pretty decent. It's a half residential property aswell, it was a bit short staffed amd doesn't have a restaurant but otherwise good

Close to everything. They had bikes to ride and also electric scooters. Super fun stay, the highlight for was the pool on the roof top!

Good access to CBD shops with free tram zone. Good amenities in apartment. Outdoor pool is a bonus.

Currently staying at the Wyndham, everything is perfect in our 2 bedroom Hotel. Will be coming back

I booked for 4 nights and upon check-in they "couldn't find" my booking and I had to reverse the transaction and pay upfront with cash, after they misspelt my name three times on the contract they had me sign. They then kicked me out after three nights and held my belongings hostage. After threatening with the police they had a concierge give me 10 mins to collect all my things and leave, causing damage to my sensitive electronics. I had been recovering from a concussion and damaged lower back during this time and am now permanently injured as a result of repeated re-injury after this hurried expulsion. Nothing short of criminal, I do not have words for how they have affected my life.

The rooms were not clean, the carpark was a long way away, the service was ok, there are just so many other hotels I could of stayed at for the price I payed.

Such a brilliant stay! We had a problem with our room and the staff were the loveliest people we have ever met. They wrote us a note and gave us chocolates to say sorry and they also brought us hot chocolate and coffees in the morning. The rooms are huge and the views were incredible. The facilities were great especially the pool. Thanks so much to all the stage for the amazing stay!

Excellent place for a stay in Melbourne CBD. Very well located with easy access to food, transport, essentials, etc. Very clean and nice rooms. Laundry facility too. Would highly recommend it.

That was amazing trip for your holiday in Melbourne today, but you did it, we are exciting well.

Great location central to the Legal district of the city. The rooms were nice and the staff were always friendly. The only problem we had was with the parking. It’s just a bit of a walk to get there.

Like many people these days I have dyed hair. And when wet, it can stain. I showered and my hair accidentally stained the pillow case I slept on, so they didn’t give me back my $200 deposit. They can easily bleach the pillow case. That’s why hotels have white bedding and towels, so they can bleach away the stains. But no. They just decided to take $200 instead. I wouldn’t stay here if you have coloured hair. Money hungry people. Wouldn’t go back.

Great location. Very central to everything with a tram stop out the front. Service is fantastic and the apartments are spacious with everything in them you need for a stay with a family of 5. The staff are very prompt and friendly.

Pretty slow in releasing the security deposit. No action after multiple queries. Have reached out for escalation.

I am here as a guest of a member. Room is lovely. Service is great. Nothing is too much trouble. Also situated in a great part of Melbourne.

Love this place. Such luxurious and roomy place. Amazing. With a pool and a gym. And BBQ facilities on the roof. Magnificent

This hotel is situated in the best side of Melbourne CBD.with many tram stops near by and all popular places in the city is in a walking distance.
The room is comfortable.cosy.and at a good price.
I love the rooftop swimming pool and the gym.
I recommend you to stay in this hotel when you visit Melbourne.
It's worth every cent.

Amazing from beginning to end. Friendly and accomodating staff, fabulous room with amazing view, stunning rooftop pool (only issue being getting my kids out of it ‍️), and great location only minutes from trams & train station. We could not fault a single thing about your hotel, it is now our ‘go to’ hotel when we make our way back up to the big smoke! I will be spreading the word to friends & family that the Wyndham is THE hotel to stay! Loved every minute ️

Wow what an Amazing stay, rooftop pool was awesome. Kids loved it. Can't wait to stay again big clean spacious rooms big balcony but not much of A view. Overall Loved it highly recommend.

We were told at 2pm
When I called that the room was ready, got there at 3: 55 and told the room was not ready. Waited another 30 minutes and went back to reception, they said the room was now ready, got to room and opened door to find 2 cleaners still in there cleaning! Neither were wearing masks
Car park a 10 minute walk away and the lifts not working so we had to carry everything with 2 small children walking down the driving ramp.
Reception and the lifts had such a strong Glen 20 stench that it gave me allergies and asthma, as did the room so we had to leave the doors to the balcony open the entire time.
We had hoped to sit and watch an in-house family movie but that wasn’t working, they offered us a bottle of wine, we aren’t drinkers so that of no use!
Half the lamps weren’t working, blown globes.
Beds very very very uncomfortable.
I had booked a delux 2 bedroom and it was tiny, so lucky we were only staying the one night.

Room was great. Clean and and modern. However the following things were irritating:
1) the building is a residential building with a hotel component. As such the place feels more like a residential unit block then a hotel. The pool is always busy with residents, and there are always pets in the foyer
2) the car park is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Which is annoying when your lugging luggage and three kids with you. Also the lift wasn't working for a few days. Had to carry luggage up 3 levels.
3) no street parking infront of hotel and no concierge to help you with luggage
4) no wifi unless you ask for it
5) limited range of channels on TV
6) no commercial kitchen. Food can be purchased from an off site restaurant, however they charge you a surcharge to bring it to your room. Cheaper to go uber eats
7) no spa at the pool
8) main reception is for the residential units. Hotel reception is up a side ramp. Doesnt look 5 star
9) lights in common areas are on sensor, and only get triggered after you have walked a couple of metres. Makes the place feel dark

I dont think this place is 5 star. 4 star at most
