Wyndham Hotel Melbourne

Love staying here. Location is excellent. Trams stops nearby. Easy walk to CBD. Rooftop pool.

Great place to stay. Very central for DFO, markets Burke Street shopping. Lots of public transport easy access. I marked 4 stars for the room due to lamp plug-in under the pillows. These should have been moved when the bed was set to double instead of twins.

We managed to get the presidential apartment this time. Awesome! Always fun walking around to find a great place to have dinner.

My wife and l had two weeks booked we could not stay together because we had business commitments so we took a week each. We were using the same room for the two weeks l left wine, food personal item at the hotel when my wife went for turn all the food, wine and personal items were gone. Only the personal items were returned the staff replaced the food items and wine with cheap sub quality items no were near the quality or cost of the items thrown away. Very disappointed would never use again or recommend to anyone

Clean, well presented rooms, friendly staff.
You can drop your luggage off at the front entrance with concierge since no on site parking is available. You can park nearby to the hotel for $30/day (bring ticket to front reception)

Lack of service staff on a weekend seems to be a concern. Had to carry all my luggage (2 large suitcases and 4 handcarry bags) up to my room by myself using their hotel trolley. No WiFi seems odd and the lift changing was confusing initially. Otherwise spacious room with adequate amenities

Good location. It seems to be a joint room rental and residential place so there aren't many added amenities. No restaurant or food features, it is central and has easy access to nearby features like the tram stop. No wifi without a Hotspot though which was easy to get

Great property located in business district. Friendly, professional staff. Close to Southern Cross station and within the free city tram zone.

Great place to stay in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Close to free trams and transport. The hotel features a gym and a pool. The rooms are big and higher up rooms get nice views. Recommend for families. But check the prices as it’s expensive than normal. But worth it given all the features and location.

Bad service but on the good side the room was clean and functional, staff trying to push club membership over actually sharing information. Second room with 2 singles had no air circulation and was hot after a few hours in there. The hotel had good facilities but team at reception needs more training, we where treated like cattle on checkin, had to call a number of times to sort out the wifi or get towels changed- given wrong info TWICE, unclear times of house keeping, as room we had was on a residential floor. That is sublet as part of hotel arrangements. If you just want a place to rest your head it’s ok. Views form roof top are great, library and gym are well setup and hence the 2 stars. Things will work well on Flors 1-4 that are actually hotel floors.

The check in experience was good. Arrived early and they took the baggage and contacted us when the room was ready. Location is very convenient as there were lots of trams all around to get around the city. Two bedroom place is fantastic and well furnished.

So convenient with trams stops within easy walking distance. Room was clean and tidy with all the things you need while away. Staff were friendly and efficient.

It was a great night stopover for us. Very friendly staff which helped us greatly. Room was all what we needed.and some views of the Melbourne city.

We had such a great few days here. The room was well laid out, a pleasant balcony and nice showers. The staff went out of their way to help us. The rooftop pool was heaps of fun for our two boys. Good location as well, close to everything.

They offered to store our bikes securely, which they did using a common lock only controlled by their staff.
Then my son's brand new $3,000 mountain bike went missing and the lock for all the bikes was in place, undamaged.yet they claim it was "stolen", evidently by the worlds most conscientious theif who dultifully locked up the remaining bikes to keep them safe!

Seemed simple, one of the staff gave the bike to another guest in the prior 24h.easy, open and shut.yet we had zero cooperation solving this case. This all happened after the previous day when the staff member who unlocked the bikes for us complimented my sons bike saying how "nice it was" and how "his brother in law would love this bike! "

Also, when one of the staff was leading my son around the hotel and I asked where she was going with him she completely flipped out and acted like a petulant child.
Disgusting service populated by idiots.don't trust these people as far as you can throw them
