Woolworths Millers Junction (Altona North) reviews
53Had an ugly experience here with a checkout operator who packed the bags of a man in front of me, and the man behind me. When i asked her why she didn't pack my groceries she replied "because you didn't ask".
New facility and pretty high tech with cleanup robots that detect shoppers. Worth checking out.
Great supermarket. State of the art store, has a self stocking robot that moves around people. Always clean, plenty of staff and they stock things other Woolworths don't.
Obviously things have changed at the supermarkets, today I arrived at 1915 hrs I was able to purchase a few things i needed such as granny Smith apples to make Apple sauce, plenty of fruit a veggies available.there was some meat although all the expensive cuts, eye fillet was $60 a kg I'm pretty sure thats over priced. Dairy products were ok, toothpaste was replenished.
Just wish people realised if we don't go overboard there will be plenty for everyone.
Lets keep our wits together and realise that we need to look after each other
I have tried hard to 'love' this store, but it is a regular underwhelming disappointment, especially with the lack of meat, unstaffed delicatessen, and the rotisserie chickens unavailable at night – Coles Williamstown has roast chickens available throughout the evening. Often the shelves look like a natural disaster has been in town and locals have panic-bought everything. It all looks new and fancy with the latest in technology, but all that counts for nothing when you can't buy what you need – food – and that's the main reason why a supermarket exists.
I like the ample parking and a big store with a variety of products, but didn't like there's all self service check out. Also didn't like the small price tags for items on special, they are hard to spot and the special prices are in small font.
This is how supermarket shopping should be. Plenty of space, self service check out terminals with your own conveyer belt, scan-as-you-go shopping. It's the closest to a stress-free experience as you'll get while doing your grocery shop.
The new trolley accessible self serve checkouts apart from the usual self checkout are a great idea and very convinient. I was impressed by that thoughtful addition.
A great Woolworths, has large floor space, great range, scan and go which is handy as and even a hazard detecting robot!
I have to honestly say, not only is this the best Woolworths that I have been to, not because of how new it is, the clean well designed layout of the store, Millie the helpful ever watchful robot or the amazing self checkout bays not to mention the incredible self serve Woolworths App. No, what makes this store THE best, is the staff. Over the past months since I have been shopping here, every single staff member I have encountered has been shockingly happy, helpful and just genuinly caring. So thank you to the staff members for making this the number one store for me so far in 2020 (end of 2019).
That's how grocery shopping will look like soon everywhere. A touch of tomorrow. And I like it.
This maybe very new but I feel that it is a big shop with not a lot in it. The fresh food and meat sections appears light on for variety.
Tried click and collect and what followed was the single worst experience of my entire life. Woolworths also had zero interest when I raised the problems with them. You could not pay me to give them another chance.
