Woolworths Heidelberg reviews
42Great clean Woolworths. It almost feels like a concept store that never quite took off, but it should. My local woolies is really run down compared to this.
Please advise all of your staff as to what ‘direct to boot pickup means’ so when someone calls regarding this.they are not treated like an idiot over the phone
Always clean and pleasure to shop there. Prices are a tiny bit higher but worth it for the variety and freshness.
Nothing wrong with the place (except perhaps the isles are a bit narrow) just it's trying (a bit too hard) to be both "upmarket inner city boutique food store" (low fridges, all layed out with wood panelling etc) and a suburban grocery barn. Be one or the other
I know it's weird to have a favourite Woolies but this place it is. An above average fantastic selection of products and a focus on being green and carbon neutral, this place is fantastic. I will always go out of my way to shop here if I need to do a supermarket run
All the usual features of a Safeway plus extra services. Gourmet section a feature. Good parking & coffee shop at the front door.
Clean, big, well stocked products, good car parking (undercover as well as rooftop), staff is always friendly, sushi is available as quick snack. BWS is in the building if need alcohol. It is one of nicest woolworths stores around the area.
Building is better than Coles, however, got stitched up with online deals, as the fine print stated on their website some deals are online only which was very small writing. Ended up going their for a fresh deal which turned out to be online only. Bit stiff ngl.
One of the best and newest Woolworth's store. Ample parking underneath, with large wide isles, and fully stocked shelves. And friendly helpful staff.
A pleasure to visit this store.
Wow. Super clean and organised with a great selection of delicatessen goods and fresh seafood.
No waiting on Christmas eve.
Bad experience. There was literally no staff on the aisles who we could ask for help. Then once we found a lady she said that she's never seen gyoza wrappers ever in the store even after the website saying its available.
Then after we lined up the lady at checkout showed us where they were.
I live nearby and this is my go to place for groceries. Never fails to disappoint. Well stocked and fresh groceries. Super satisfied.
Luisa is the best in the deli. Highly recommened asking for her for all your deli needs and especially when choosing cheeses from the cheese bar.
Great renovated site with higher level of presentation, offering a wider range of products and cleanliness. The most presentable shop I have ever seen among all Safeway or Woolworths supermarkets.
Shame on woolworths, yes there is a shortage of some grocery items due to the difficult times we live in yet Woolworths see it fit to increase prices on many goods at a time when people are vulnerable they should be ashamed.
One of the recently opened Woolworths. I was impressed with the store.it's well maintained, parking is ample, including accessible parking.
This is a freshly renovated and expanded store that look good. The parking is underneath in the shade. There is escalators and a lift for those who need that assistance. The actual variety in-store was about what you would expect for the Ivanhoe area. The staff were smiling and polite.
I went there specifically to hire a carpet cleaner, when I looked online it says they have them for hire there, so when I got there I asked at the counter and was told they don't actually have any at the Heidelberg store, I would of had to go to Ivanhoe, lucky Coles had one a bit closer, perhaps change the website to match what you actually have in store.
Great, newly revived store. However, the new size makes it a bit hard to find things. Sad to see swarths of plastic surrounding fruits and vegetables, regardless of the trolleys being made from recycled plastics. Bring a jacket because the refrigerator aisles are very cold. Good lot of parking spaces now. Wide range of products, and cafe and BWS included in the complex.
Very impressed with the upgrade this Woolworths has had. Bright and accessible store with an extensive range of grocery options. Particularly impressed with the range of plant based grocery options, as well as the little plant/flower collection at the front of the store. Parking is a breeze now and look forward to seeing more electric cars using the charging stations in the future.
