Woolworths Heidelberg reviews
42 This is a great new supermarket. The shop has wide aisles, plenty of products to choose from and good size bays in the carpark. And to top it off there is a cafe right next to the entrance.
On a recent visit there were no shopping trolleys in the trolley bay. It is difficult to do a big shop without a trolley. Hopefully this was just a temporary glitch.
I have just visited on Xmas Eve. It was a lot easier than I expected to get in and out with the stuff that I wanted.
They are still slow with the shopping trolleys and shopping baskets.
Another visit for a small number of items. All good. Easy to get in and out quickly.
No problems today 27 July
Trip to Woolies about midday on 21 Dec 22. Easy. Didn't even have to queue for the checkout.
April 23. All good.

When you check online some of the products…it shows that they have available in stock…but when you go to the store they said it’s not available…some of the juices were expired when I visited there
It’s a big supermarket and has great variety however, don’t get any sliced meat from the deli…today I was served by a woman who gave me 150gms instead of 100gms of prosciutto as I asked she then rudely rolled her eyes at me when I asked the price as it was more than I planned on buying, got it home realised she cut it even thicker than standard salami! Who works in a deli and doesn’t know to slice prosciutto on the thinnest setting? ! This supermarkets too far for me to go back and get a refund but what a waste of $10 worth of prosciutto its inedible sliced this way!
Not great when you have a trolley full of things and have to go through the self checkout. Would be better off going to Aldi. At least there is checkout assistance.
Fresh produce, clean, good selection, easy to navigate aisles, not crowded and otherwise a wholly satisfactory Woolworths.
Clean modern well laid out supermarket. Plenty of fresh produce. Good parking with electric vehicle charging bays.
Great range. Questionable layout of entrance and questionable training of check out staff - don't plan to rush in and rush out.
Beautiful brand new supermarket with lots of basement car parking. Good meat and seafood counter with fresh produce, good prawns and lobster tails! Wide cheese selection too.
Very poor with wood worth work er caught fick there cigarette but t everywhere not good talk about Wrecking The environment All gets was down the rivers
Fantastic help from the guys packing the milk fridge. Thankyou for being friendly and helping to find the milk brand I wanted. Staff friendly and helpful. Store far too big.
New built. Spacious. Floor plan well done and signage of isles are excellent. Clean and great lighting. Don't like the metal concertinal gates to the liquor shop. Perhaps clear glass will bring the continuity of line. Took Safeway/Woolworth 20+ years to renovate/rebuilt as I grew up and relocated.
Staff.what can I say? No smiles, not relatable, just robotics. PR is not part of the Job Descriptions.
Staff are helpful, efficient and friendly, and the store is bright and new. A great selection of merchandise, and a fairly chic atmosphere for a grocery store. Reminds of San Francisco Stute with beautiful people. The fresh meat is not always staffed, so check in at the delicatessen for service. Parking underneath from three street entrances is convenient.
Great Woolworth store. Everything is nicely setup. I particular liked the boutique Cheese corner and overall some good specials on.
I went during the week & parked on the upper level & caught lift down to supermarket. Small coffee shop outside it. Quite a spacious store with what appeared like a much bigger variety of goods. Very well maintained & good presentation. Their fruit was fresh & not withered like some stores. Massive improvement on the previous building with lots of parking available but may be a different story on the weekend.
Despite it being a large store very good service as usual today. A kindly staff member opened up a check out to speed us through. That's why we keep coming back.
Nice cashier
Had all products I needed
Should have got a trolley instead of basket. Forgot a few things which is pretty typical. Thanks for the memories.
Agreed with the other reviewers here. Big Woolies with kind and accommodating staff. Easy free parking and strategic location. Check it out and see for yourself
It’s a big Woolies and you’ll pretty much find anything you need. It has a Great variety of products and as you’d expect if you need anything there will be someone there happy to help.
Decent layout, the problem is now severe under-staffing. On peak Saturday/Sunday periods only a handful (less than half) the registers open, and those staff are deliberately slow.
Very big store so if you are looking to get your steps up, this is the place to shop. Parking is fantastic at this store, and staff are pretty good too.
