Woolworths Fitzroy reviews
62Easy to find a park if you drive and well stocked. Friendly customer service, not much more you can ask of a big chain supermarket
Woolworth's is always much more a pleasure than shopping at Cole's. This is a large store with great variety and quality products. My only complaint is that the layout makes NO sense at all.
Very happy with the service. I go to this Woolworth regularly and the staff are always so genuine and nice.the first time i went i talked to a kind young man named Archie about the location of products, we talked for a little bit and Archie is one of the many reasons i go back. Defiantly Recommend.
Open till midnight.but packs up the entire deli at 6.30 pm. Perfect timing for anyone who needs to do a shop after work!
Oversized meat section, not that I'm against that mind you, but I wish they would expand the overseas food a bit, I've gone hunting for noodles and stuff and you just can't find them here
Always a pleasure shopping here. There is a nice 'small town' atmosphere where you get to know and chat with most of the shop assistants because they are nice human beings.
My favourite part is the self service registers where you can have a chat with the staff. It really adds up to the whole experience in a world where alienated people are failing to connect with each other.
Quieter than the Coles down the road and also has a better range of vegan offerings than its competitor.
Large store with a huge variety of products. I've noticed they often have specials. They often have at least a couple of checkouts going which suits USD that don't like using the self service. There is liquor shop in store also. And a large carpark on the roof too.
Security guard at the entrance is the highlight of my visits, he's always so lovely! Nothing negative to say about Woolies Fitzroy!
I love this shop! Open and clean and has lots of quality foods. Coles used to be more convenient for me but now I avoid them completely and switched to shopping at Woolworths because of their strong stand on environment and plastic bags. There is a bench inside Woolworths on Smith st that is made out of recycled plastic bags! Love it!
This Woolies really does have full ranges of just about any product you could b looking for. Great one stop shop, consistently good amount of available parking (up to 1.5hrs I think). And of course, there's the security guard who greets you with a big warm "Hello" or "How are you today? " each and every time you enter. Nice touch!
A good Woolies. It's clean, open late, in a convenient location, and has a good selection. We go there often to pick up a couple of things when we're in the area. Looks like there's a carpark on top. Not much else to say really, it's just like every other one.
Beautifully clean and open store:) everything you could EVER need and more! From potting mix to chicken feed this Woolworths has it all in a logically set out aisle system. Safe to say I will be spending a few more hours in here over the coming years.
This Woolworths is the place to get cash out for the local Vietnamese joint. Is anything else worth it here? Your guess is as good as mine.
Has sushi station, deli and good fresh produce. Not to many fresh bakery items so I would avoid it if you need some bakery items. You'll normally get hassled out the front from either beggars or charity organisations.
You need to dodge the green peace and homeless to get in. It's a supermarket, nothing special. It's always quiet for some reason. The sushi place in the fresh produce is neat but should lower prices to compete on Smith St in my opinion. Not sure how you rate a supermarket. Perhaps hello when I walk in might get another star, though I probably won't say hello back but it's a nice thought. Bye
Poped in for the first time.it is very convient location, lots of products were available and resonably priced, staff was very nice, checkouts were not as cloud as coles near by.i will pop in when next time if i pass near by
Excellent experience was the best customer service I have received by staff member Ezra in any Woolworths stores Australia wide.
A very charming and efficient and effective staff member that should be a Manager.
Super friendly staff. They were out of stock on a half price item and the guy gave me a voucher to use next week to get half price (when the deal would've expired)
Good Woolworths. They have recently revamped this and it is much better than what it used to be. The Coles a little further up Smith St is probably the best of the Supermarkets in the area - but Woolworths is easier to part at (parking on the roof). The fresh food section is a little stale and could be presented better and the bakery section is poor compared to Coles.
