Woolworths Fitzroy reviews
62Went to get some groceries and they were out of stock of some products and didn’t stock other products. Really was a waste of time going in the first place.
Still reducing the choices, fewer product options. Needs more Asian greens. Not enough variety.
It's a standard Woollies, pretty large, well stocked, not too busy, pretty good but not enormous deli section (e.g. I've seen a larger selection of fresh fish at other Woollies). Friendly staff that will walk with you to help find items. Free carpark on top of the building. BWS bottleshop inside as well.
Very helpful staff.
Being a country boy. I find it hard to navigate the city streets.but from where I was staying in Napier st found it quite easily at night
Had a wonderful experience
Friendly click&collect staff and generally more range and availability than carlton/clifton hill.free and convenient parking is a winner too
Fix your HVAC system! The persistent noise coming on at all hours is making our apartments unlivable!
Found what I wanted quickly but it was almost hidden on the bottom shelf. In and out in 10 mins 4pkts unsalted peanuts
Good local woolies instore bottle shop
Reasonable opening hours. Over the years, the above parking has reduced time you can park for.
Staff not care anything. I saw three shoplifter in there. But some staff was busy to talk or texting to someone.
Convenient free rooftop parking, without the hassles of a complicated ticket machine relying on a pay / refund scheme. Has 2 elevators from the rooftop to the store below.
Stock levels of most things are good, and customer service is availible but you need to be prepared to be a little loud to get their attention.
Like most supermarkets these days there aren't many (if any) attended checkouts. So be prepared to manually scan and bag everything yourself, even if it's a full trolley of groceries.
This is a fully stocked Woollies and you will be able to get what you are looking for here.
Rustic is a great way to describe this supermarket, I've been shopping here for over 20 years; back then it was known as Safeway. The place has kept it's character and is definitely a cherished piece of Smith St history.
I find the prices are not justifiable. The staff are helpful. The staff need to wear their masks properly not as a chin strap.
Staff fairly decent deli workers do great job except claim he's 2 slow folds paper wrong way.lol
Very good customer service. The Asian cashier was amazingly helpful the first I ever encountered from all Woolworths in Melbourne. Thank you I will be going back even though it's not my down the road branch it's a bit of a drive for me. Thank you
Plenty of parking on top of the building
The store can be a little messy and untidy
The range of fruit is small
Ok but not great. It is feeling a bit out of date especially when there is a much newer Coles just across the street.
The click and collect order process at this store was a headache compared to other locations. There seemed to be very little communication between the front desk staff and the staff retrieving the orders, resulting in a long and unnecessary wait.
Very well stocked and the parking upstairs makes it very convenient, except for the very slow lift.
The sushi booth is great with fresh sushi
Charging more for a paper bags than plastic bags. Is this the solution to waste? You can do better.
