Woolworths Ballarat Central

Don't know why they even have a phone because they hardly ever answer it.took close to an hour ringing constantly before anyone answered and when I said something about it the store manager Rebecca was pretty rude. Will make a complaint to head office

I'm a Woolworths fan and this one maintains the basic high standards. The problem here is for drivers as the lane directly in front of the store is two way and allows parking, so it is congested and can be difficult if two cars come from opposite directions and can't get past parked cars.

The jaded old staff should move on they make me go to Coles which is always surrounded by Alcoa and math losers.

Not happy when I asked for half a chicken the expression on the girls face said it all then came back with another girl and said no they can't. At another Woolworths store has never been an issue.

Very little bakery range, noticed alot of the breads and rolls etc were very burnt and stale. Staff were helpful though and friendly

Always shop here, never encountered a single inconvenience... Products are fresh and cheap, luv woolies

Average woolworths, produce is often a little poor (bad stock on show, little facing, not spraying leafys) but still acceptable

Kim at the Ballarat store in the intermit apparels department was amazing. Her customer service was very much appreciated and I have to say exceptional! Thanks for all the effort you put in to locate an item for me!

Woolies supermarket competes with the nearby Coles and has a good range of produce, a large car park and easy access via bus.

Was disappointed that product I had been notified was on special wasn't marked as special on the shelf and I specifically went in to purchase this product.

The staff are helpfull and friendly and the bring your own bag approach is finally a reality as too many plastic bag, straws and cups end up in our waterways and cause environmental impact on the wildlife.

That anyone requiring gluten free food etc will not find everything at Woolworths, as there are some important products not on the shelves.

If you're a diabetic or just looking for sugar free or weight loss products, there isn't much to choose from.
I thought all supermarkets were obliged by law to keep such items in stock.

Friendly customer service, good quality in house baked and butchered goods, decent range of products including some you can't find at other supermarkets.

Did a medium shop there & the staff are friendly & helpful, It was busy & the lady that served us friendly & polite even though she busy & patient dealing with other customers.

Worst lamb cutlets I have ever eaten in my life! On day of purchase crumbed and cooked them medium rare and they were tough, chewy and lacking flavour. Totally unhappy, not fresh or good quality meat. Feel ripped off.

They overcharged me about $14. This ringing up wrong prices or 2 when you only bought 1 happens semi-frequently. Always have to check your receipt. They are friendly in giving you your refund, I just wish I didn't have to be bothered and it rung up right the first time.

Self-serve checkouts are not good for customer experience. And god knows the money you save Woolworths doesn't result in cheaper prices or higher wages for the employees they don't get rid of.
